I loved coming to this nail salon till recently. Jerry i believe is his name, did my pedicure and cut my toe nails WAY TO SHORT. it was very painful and when it grew back, caused an ingrown. I waited a week before writing this review. As I still feel strongly, here it is. I had been going here regularly for 12 years and they have recently changed management. The new owner is Pam. From the first, she made disparaging comments about the previous owners and how they weren't sanitizing properly. Meanwhile, the acrylic panels installed during the pandemic were gone. Only one employee was masked. She didn't wear gloves for the waxing. Secondly, no matter what I was requesting (waxing eyebrows and lip, deluxe pedicure), she challenged my choices and tried to upsell me: powder dip manicure, gel manicure, gel pedicure, waxing my chin (which I do myself). That's all unpleasant enough. The man doing the callous removal during my pedicure also removed skin on a part of my foot near the callous (requiring a band aid and the abraded area still has a scab a week later). When I pulled back, I was asked "you don't want the callous removed?" I said "not if you're going to hurt me." The owner took over and everything else went well. She kept promising me that next time the man won't do the pedicure and that she will take care of it. Next time? Not happening. read more

I have followed Nina and Jerry for several years. I could not ask for better service. I always get a HELLO when I enter the Salon/Spa. I have always had a great experience with both Jerry and Nina. Also all I have to do is show Nina an art design I would like for my nails and she is able to follow through with the design hands free. First day getting done. The thumb never dried and it lifted. So I ripped it. I will be going somewhere else. Although the lady is nice. There was another lady who didn't keep my hands dipped to take off the dipped powder. And took a nail to rip all my nails off instead of drilling them off. It hurt! And I kept saying owe! I wish I was strong enough to just say no more. But my natural nails ripped with the acrylics. And to say I'm trying really hard to grow out my natural. That devastated me to have to restart over again. They also leave you to do other things and then come back. I'm writing this now to full warn that this place hurts you and plays it off with a laugh. Thank you for the Easter colors. But I am devastated. I was expecting to do a fill. Not spend a whole new 50.00 for a gel set. Never again. read more

Customer service was amazing. I love my nails! I got exactly what I asked for. The technician would double check to make sure he understood what I wanted. Only one TV but they had an interesting show on. I normally have anxiety and watch the technician to make sure they are not going to sand my fingers or that they are doing it right but I was able to relax and enjoy the tv show and I didn't get my fingers sanded and the nails turned out great! I waited a week before writing this review but get upset each time I look at my nails: I went in wanting a nail repair and gel manicure. Was told they could fix it with a tip. The young lady asked me about the shape and length I wanted, I pointed to the length of one of my nails. Sadly, she cut and filed all my nails down very short. She then took out a tip and I said no, that wouldn't work with all my shortened nails. So rather than a nail repair, she cut it off completely! Then, another woman came to paint my nails. I had picked out two colors of sparkly polish: silver and magenta. She came back with the wrong color and when I told her it wasn't correct she argued with me. She put on a brick red shade and I let her know she'd pulled the wrong number. Once corrected, she quickly painted my nails. The saturation on the sample was much more vibrant than what I got. It was sloppy and she missed a large portion of my nail. (see photo). Needless to say, I can't recommend this salon. read more

I drove by this salon when dropping off my son for practice. Decided to get a pedicure to kill time while he worked out. This was my first time to get a pedicure since the pandemic started. Anyway, 2 stars because the tech was very nice and even suggested I change the gel polish on my toes because it was too light. Unfortunately she cut one of my toes and it bled. I believe she left the callous remover on too long and then scraped them so hard they both are red and throbbing and one has another cut on the bottom. They hurt to walk and I'm considering an er visit if they are still angry and hurting tomorrow. The salon isn't clean. It is dirty and has spider webs. I hate to say it because the tech was sweet, but I won't be back. read more

Nice little nail salon, good prices. (I took a picture of the pedicure prices and posted it here.) You get a nice 5-7 minute leg and foot massage, and sit in a massage chair. The staff was friendly enough, but I only gave it a 3 because it still irritates me when they talk to each other in their language. read more

Stopped in to get a gel manicure because I couldn't make it to my regular salon. I wear clear gel. I had some old gel that needed removing. He used a file to scratch up the surface (I was assuming) before soaking off. Nope. He kept filing. Eventually he had me soak my fingers in cold water with acetone for about 3 min. He then used the tool to try and scrape off the old gel. It seems weird but we continued on. He shaped my nails, cut my cuticles and then got out the items for the gel process. I looked at my nails and not only were they "flakey" looking but I still had visible old gel on a few. I pointed it out and he began filing my nails again. I asked if there was more gel that needed removed and he said "no, your nails are just thin". I told him I wanted to just do a regular manicure because I didn't want the lines and flakes under the gel. We continued and he painted my nails with what seemed to be a matte base coat (not a clear shiny top coat polish) and said we were done. Prices listed $12 for manicure. He states $15. I asked and he said "$12 plus $3". I'm assuming the $3 was for the incomplete gel removal but I didn't ask. Anyway, I paid and bounced. Will not be back! read more

I have given this place SEVERAL tries before this review. Most of the time, the service is adequate. It just depend who you get. Amy & Jenny are great at their services (one star for each of them) the rest are mediocre. Today was a subpar service day. Walked in for a gel manicure and got right in, however the man who was doing my manicure did not understand much English. I asked for a color, wasn't available..so I picked another. It didn't even look like the swatch I picked from. Next he proceeded to file off all my previous gel and nail with a hand file and was very rough. He kept confusing the acetone and water bowls. I was soaking in water waiting for the gel to dissolve! After he cut my nails, I showed him one was crooked, so he cut ALL my nails shorter. I just wanted them not to be crooked not shorter. Whatever. And the kicker, it is posted all over the shop $25 for Gel Manicure and he charged me $28. I asked him why the price increase, he smiled. I do t think he understood the question. There goes your tip, buddy! Now that I am home, I noticed the top coat on my skin and cuticles and my nails have sharp edges. Sorry, not sorry JD Nails...I'm not coming back. read more

I used to come here exclusively before I moved to California. I have return ed d twice while on vacation. The 1st visit was for waxing of my eyebrows, I was left with two narrow uneven "lines". The second visit months later was for gel nails. They needed to remove the gel I had, a third person showed up and to make a long story short, she ground ALL THE GEL OFF. This included most of 8 of my nails. In the end all I can say is stay away. read more

I wouldn't give this place a star at all.. It was 1 of the worst nail salons I have ever been to .. The staff is not friendly at all .. The shop is hot... The massage chairs will leave your back bruised so bad I couldn't have anything touch my back for 3 days.. They have no clue how to give a decent pedicure.. My gel nails had grown out and I needed to stop somewhere that isn't my normal nail place because I wouldn't be able to get there this weekend. Sorry I stopped in here. I asked several times prior to agreeing to get my nails done if they could do a thick gel nail (my preference). Two people said yes, no problem. First, when taking off my old gel nail polish, the guy didn't want to wait to soak them off so he dipped it it acetone once and then filed my the polish off, making my fingernail so paperthin it cracked. I have strong healthy nails and after he got done, my nails were so thin and painful. He proceeded to polish them using the thinnest coats ever and I stopped him to remind him I wanted them thick (especially now that he filed my nails down so thin) and he said he can't do that. What the heck?! He got up and disappeared. Some other lady had to come finish my nails and because he did such a poor job, she had to wipe his polish off and start again. As a result, I have paperthin nails and paperthin polish on top that's not even. Awful. read more
