We spent three weeks at this lovely resort. We have lived in this area for over 40 years and never knew this little gem existed. We had eight family members visit from abroad and we decided to move out of our house to give them some space and a little privacy. We moved into my son's RV and took up residence at Westlake Resort. It was a lifesaver for my wife and myself. After many busy days at our home with our visitors we were able to come back to this park in the evening for much needed rest and quietness. The RV was alongside the lake and it was so peaceful there just to sit and watch the dogs go for their walks along the bayou and to see a family of ducks in the lake grow over the three weeks we were there till they took flight. A wonderful sight to see. The campground itself was excellent, It is kept to really good standards, It was lovely and quiet, very very clean with many amenities which I was sorry not to have had the time to have taken advantage of. After our visitors left for trip back home, we were a little disappointed to have had to leave the resort to go back to living in our house, but I know for sure if my wife of 56 years ever leaves me I will know where to find her. Mark and Rachel are super hosts! The pool and spa are never overcrowded- the laundry facility is ample and clean. We noticed this time more people are socializing at the outdoor kitchens and in the hospitality lounge way more which really supports community! Because we were there for a tornado watch it was nice to have a safe place to go in the bath house! Best RV spot in Katy TX - hands down! read more

We have lived here for over 7 months and love it. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The place is always clean, pool is perfect. My grandkids love coming here, it's a safe place for them. The park is close to I-10 and lots of food and shopping areas. An off leashed dog park area and more big trees would make this a 5 park but you can't have everything. read more

WOW! After 31 states on this trip, we finally found an absolutely perfect RV park. The entire park is spotless. The bathrooms sparkle. The clubhouse is beautiful and very welcoming. I will start off by pointing out, Houston is one of the biggest cities in America. And because of this and considering that this RV resort is in the heart of the city, I'll give them that as their reasoning for being super selective for their occupancy. With that said, if you call and make reservation, make darn sure that you get some sort of confirmation. Before leaving Louisiana, I called a total of three times to reserve our spot for that evening. In my defense of reason for calling so many times, the final time was to make sure that I hadn't called Eastlake instead. When my husband arrived to check in, they insisted that we hadn't called. So did they have a spot or not?! Yes they did. After that was behind us, it was a fantastic resort experience. Yes, it is a resort. And one of the nicest ones I've ever been to. The resort itself is hidden by a self storage company and behind a coded gate. Both add to the security of the property. Our site was fairly small, but was a pull through site with full hooks. It was a row away from the man made lake. The view was peaceful, and didn't give you the sense that you were in such a big city. The dog walk was a nice perk, but do be careful on the concrete drop off that sneaks up on you. A dog wash! That was the first time that I've ever experienced that at an RV resort. Something else that is rare to find at an RV resort, a pool table. My husband appreciated a game or two. The price, was very inexpensive for the condition of the park, close proximity to the heart of Houston landmarks, amenities, etc. I would definitely stay again, if they'd allow me ;) read more

The management at this facility is great! The owners of this facility do not know how to respond to an email you send to them. I would think that if I am a paying customer my opinions would at least be acknowledged. The owners decided to increase their laundry prices from $3.50/load to $4.75/load and dryers from .25/10 minutes to .75/18 minutes. Not sure how many people run their dryers in 18 minute segments, I sure don't. This RV "Resort" has sites resembling a trailer park that should have been sent packing a long time ago. They are unkempt and have junk laying out everywhere. Nothing wrong with most trailer parks, but some of the RVs here are an eyesore! They have a separate section that is hidden behind their storage that looks even worse! The ownership does nothing about excessive speeding, parking in the road nor do they care about maintaining the sites picnic tables or swings by the lake. The water hook ups are in need of tightening. Their internet is hit and miss, so do not plan on fast process times. If you want to charge high end RV site and laundry fees, maybe you should make the "resort" more pleasant for those of us who take care of our sites. Moving the garbage dumpster would be a great start! It's awesome to see that entering and exiting the facility! If you do choose to come to this resort and need your laundry done, visit the Washateria that is approximately 3 miles away! They charge 1/2 the cost and the machines are larger and cleaner! read more

Stayed for two nights . This is not a resort. Unattended children in pool (against their rule). People in pool with glass bottles (against their rule). A guy who lives there power washing his neighbors rig next to us for 7 hours (you got it). This is a very expensive parking lot. read more

Great, clean, friendly camp site. They use a credit card for W&D - finally, an easier way to do laundry. We have a 42' fifth wheel toy hauler with a Mac Truck Duely. Perfect for big rigs. Great downtown location. Lucky they had an opening for us. read more

The facilities are very nice and clean. The staff is super friendly. I found the campsite to be a good size for the our large TT. We originally wanted to be near on the lake but there wasn't an available space. The staff gave us ribs option to move once a site was available but our site had a great view of the water so we didn't move. Definitely enjoyed our stay and will be back. read more

Gated rv resort. Has heated pool, nice facilities. Paved road & pads. Catch & Release fishing only in the lake. Its so new that it feels more like a huge parking lot. When the trees and shrubs grow full the feel will be a bit more homey. The kids are having a blast riding their scooters and bikes around. No road or highway noise to tend with during the night. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. read more

Had a bad experience here. The day Management goes on the advice of other campers. I was not allowed back because another camper said i was going 30 to 40 mph through the park. There was no way this happened, its to small. To the owner there are cameras everywhere before someone is kicked out cause another camper says something lets check the cameras. I believe it was wrong identity. Unless you are drinking buddies with the two upfront Management husband and wife, i would not stay here. Oh i wont anyway a camper said i was speeding so I never can again thanks you two. I stayed at the one on Fallbrook very nice Management superb. read more

We had a great experience at this lovely RV park. Don't let the curbside appearance fool you. It it tucked behind a storage facility on Clay Road and once you enter through the electric gate (a nice feature) you find this very clean and well maintained park. It is back far enough from the road to preclude most traffic noise. There is a man-made lake in the center which is stocked with fish for catch-and-release entertainment. The common areas are kept extremely clean, beautifully landscaped, and it has two nice common areas for grilling, picnicking, or just enjoying the lakeside views. Heated pool and hot tub set in an attractive setting with flowers and lush vegetation. The sites are concrete, level and plenty wide with a strip of grass, picnic table and plenty of patio space. There is ample space between sites to allow for some privacy and ability to park your vehicle. It is definitely priced higher than others in the Houston area but the security of the locked gate, the grounds maintenance, and convenience to I-10 made it very worthwhile for us. We are glad to find a spot as nice as this in Houston and will be back. read more

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, 2 dogs and I stayed here for 2 nights. We enjoyed the rv park very much. We took advantage of the lake for some fishing, the outdoor kitchen/fire pit for cooking and s'mores and the pool. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly from the first call we made until the final goodbye. They answered all of our questions, explained the expectations and layout of the park and let us know they were available to help at any time. It was a very quiet atmosphere and we appreciated the slow driving of the cars passing by. We also liked the rule of adults only in the pool from 8-10 p.m. each night. The bathroom and shower facilities were very clean and had shower chairs available for anyone needing them. There were just a few things that I think need to be addressed to make the park better. I think they need to have life preservers hanging from the piers in case of an accidental fall into the lake. A couple of small walking ramps to get down to the edge of the water would be helpful for those of us who are a little older or have incline climbing issues. A few benches located near the water would be nice so you don't need to drag a chair down to sit on. Thank you to the staff for such a great stay. We will be back. :) read more

My husband, E.B. and I stayed on Site 39 for 2 nights Jan 25 & 26, 2021 in our Airstream on a cross country trip. We've been RV campers for 30 years all over the U.S. and enthusiastically recommend this park. It's located in an industrial area outside of Houston but provides great security, friendly accommodating managers and staff. Recreational building has clean bathrooms, showers, laundromat, game room with pool table, quiet business room with computers and a library (bring a book/take a book), board games jigsaw puzzles, etc. Hot coffee provided in the rec room was a nice surprise in the morning! There is a pool, also man-made lake with catch and release fishing. Ed and I took a pleasant walk around the lake in the evening. It is definitely a place we plan to use again on future trips. read more

There is good and bad here at this park. For the good: it is very nice, with amenities that you normally do not see in other parks. For the bad: super expensive, at 47$ a night you are approaching hotel rates. They put you on the ban list if you are still around at 1pm. My experience: I arrived late, which wasn't an issue. Signed the standard waivers and disclaimers that you find at most parks. What I discovered is that they put you on the ban list if you are there at the checkout time that they did not make you aware of (but you signed acknowledging with their paperwork). If the park was full, or if they mentioned that they really needed me out by 1 I would have been out by that time. I would also understand if I was there well past that time, but I wasn't. I didn't use any of these but they had: a laundry room, pool, gym, lounge, an outdoor kitchen, and a small outdoor grill area. Park appeared to be clean and pretty well kept.. read more

I called to get a quote for the rv pricing because it is not listed on the website. I gave them all my information and they gave me a quote and then I asked a few more questions and they were polite and gave me lots of information on how much the different spots in the park were and what each offered. A few days later I called back ready to give them my deposit and set up a reservation with them and the information they had given me a few days earlier had changed. Well, sales change, spots get taken, I mean I understand that, so I asked more questions and tried to set up a different spot with them still believing that I would be helped. The man that I talked to was not very helpful at all. I was ready to give them my money and I was already sold on this being a great location so I was surprised that he was actually making it so difficult. After much back and forth about what I wanted he didn't seem to want to help me at all so I hung up disappointed and then later I had my dad call and give the exact same information and he was offered a better deal, a better spot, more selection of spots and no hassle about anything. I don't trust them now because I understand that not posting prices is a marketing tactic to get people to call and then you can up sell them, but it's a bad business practice when you hear an older male voice on the other side and find ways to serve him better than you do a young female even though I have been rving much longer. read more
