We stayed for five days while visiting family. The place itself is very nice, great water view, grilling areas with tables, chairs, a refrigerator to use and fire pit area with rocking chairs. However, security is lacking. Only one camera at the entrance and several cars can come in with one code entry or cars come in when someone exits. We had an item stolen which really shook us up as we felt violated! The surrounding area has many homeless people and some look to be high on something. I would NOT stay here again. read more

We stayed at this resort for 10 days. The staff are friendly and helpful. The resort is clean and well maintained. We saw multiple staff out picking up trash and keeping the area clean. I used the gym, loved the rowing machine, and it was well taken care of. We walked our dogs and there are multiple dog poop stations scattered around the resort. My husband and I have stayed on and off for the last four years. This is one of the best parks we have been in. The place is kept clean, the front desk is always cordial and helpful and the amenities very nice. They have dogs walk, a small but adequate exercise area, computer room, book exchange, pool table, TV viewing area indoors and another outdoors, BBQ areas, and a catch and release fishing pond. Best of all, the RV Resort is right next to a large lake with a 5 mile walking track all the way around. read more

Stayed 6 days at this "Quality Resort " Very misleading advertising. The Park is well maintained and has amenities such as a pool and fishing pond. However, the park enforces, no standards on many of their long-term tenants. they advertise gated security, but all you have to do is wait for a vehicle exiting and the entrance opens up as well. This Park is suitable for an overnight stay, but I would seriously look around if you desire an RV resort environment. I wish I had looked more closely at the negative reviews. read more

My mom is the manager of the RV resort and the resort is awesome. The only thing is that it's in Houston and scumbags like to take other peoples item occasionally. But there are multiple police officers on property that are full time. 10/10 recommend. read more

I have been camping here for couple weeks now and I come to find out this place is not safe. I heard that one of my neighbour's items have been stolen from their property along with few other people. This place is very expensive and makes me not feel safe here anymore. There is really no difference between a cheap place and a very expensive place nothing gets done properly. read more

This is a new resort, just opened up in Nov 2016. It is a beautiful resort!! James and Tara and Cindy do a fantastic job keeping it clean!! Most of the people here are long term and are all super nice for the most part. It is gated. It has a clubhouse with a small gym area, pool table and shuffleboard. It has an office area, free popcorn and coffee!! There are 2 covered BBQ areas that are beautiful and very clean!! The pool and hot tub are both kept very clean! The bath house and laundry room is kept clean as well! They do a fantastic job with this resort! This is a Quality Resort and Quality had found some real gems with these 3 and with this gorgeous resort!! A few cons would be that the pool and hot tub are closed and locked at 10 pm every night. It would be nice to have later adult hours on Friday and Saturday. My only other complaint (no fault of the resort) is the traffic on Hwy 6, most times it is ridiculous! It would be more appropriately named parking lot 6. LOL!! Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay!! read more

Highway 6 RV resort is awesome from the management to the amenities. We have stayed here several times and the managers are always friendly and helpful. The outdoor kitchen and grills are always spotless. The recreational room has a pool table, shuffle board, work out equipment, board games, books, computers, TV and more and it's very clean and nice. Complimentary popcorn and coffee are always ready! The bathrooms are also always spotless. If you're into relaxing and having some fun with family and friends this is the place to go. The pool includes an adult time for 8p to 10p. We invited several friends for a cookout for labor day weekend and everyone enjoyed dinner by the lake. We will definitely be back again! read more

We lived at Hwy 6 RV "Resort" for more than 2 years. When we first moved in, it was nice and quiet, and well maintained. However, over the last several months (since corporate investors Stonetown Capital came in. Leadership not paying attention?) the property has really declined. Management turns a blind eye to those blatantly breaking the park rules (i.e. no working on vehicles, keep area clean, and, most importantly, allowing drug deals to happen on property, even though they have been reported to management multiple times), yet concerns themselves with where people park their vehicles by arbitrarily enforcing "verbal rules" that can not be found in any rental agreements. If you are friends with the managers, you can pretty much do what you want. But if you dare challenge their "authority," (seriously, you manage a trailer park...get over yourself), then you are targeted for random, inconsequential, violations, and met with sarcasm and hostility upon trying to address the situation in a professional manner. Most recently, someone climbed the fence at the park and broke into several vehicles throughout the property. The thief was caught on video, yet management made no statement and sent no announcement that residents should be sure to lock their vehicles. A week after this first incident, another person was seen breaking into vehicles in the back of the park, right beside the manager's house. Again, no notice from management. Part of the reason we moved here was because they tout a "secure and gated property," (check the web site). Quality RV owners need to take a closer look at the people they have managing their assets...perhaps random drug testing would be advised. I can only hope that this review cannot be deleted from this page as it is well known that management at this company will delete negative reviews where they have access. Case in point, I have added pictures of a review that "mysteriously" disappeared. This place MAY be OK for a night or two, because they don't have time to try to get into your business. If you're looking for long term, go somewhere else. read more

My vehicle was recently (11/18/2017) damage at this RV Resort by their landscaping crew. I have requested that I receive the contractors phone no in order to report the damage to my vehicle; since The RV Resort (Highway 6 RV Resort) is not taking or acknowledging any responsibility for the damage. Even though they're in their Property with the Resorts consent. It has been 5 days since this occurred and all that I've been told is that "there was nothing the Resort could do for me." My expectations of a "Quality RV Resort" are simply that, "Quality." I was told to expect a phone call from the General Manager. I've yet to hear from him, but I don't expect less. Since a few days ago I was also notified that as a resident my rent would increase 13% with only a weeks notice. I asked why the increase, and to provide me with their policy as to the process or merit for their increase. The GM (Steven Yates) said that they don't have such a policy and that as private company they don't have to provide me with anything. As a Sr. Accountant, and expert with working with Private and Public companies, ethics are so important. Full disclosure and transparency are some of the key factors that keep an economy and company successful. These should be some of the ingredients and backbone of a company. Your clientele is vital to your success. I'm truly disappointed of Quality RV Resorts. Initially when I looked at this Resort I accidentally called it an RV Park. Which I was corrected, that it was a Resort. I believe I was correct now when I called it an RV Park. This place lacks quality in its service and customer care. Today 11/22/2017 I received a letter of eviction for providing this review. I have been given 2 days to abandoned the premises. My wife and our three little furries were looking forward to spending the holiday weekend with our families, love ones since it'll be my wife's first year without her mom due to her passing away from cancer two months ago. I find it repulsive that Quality RV Resorts lacks the sensitivity to these special times. read more

I would say that in only being here one month it has really been a blessing. My plan is Long term as far as staying here. Not sure what the electric bill will be being the hottest month ever lol. I will report back on what I was charged for living here a month and keeping my front AC between 76-78 and my back on between 88-90, running WiFi 24/7 but only using computer or PS4 around an hour or less a day, and only using water pump and heater intermittently, and TV early in morning and late at night for maybe an hour. The staff seems super friendly and supportive and the grounds are kept pretty decent. Pool is nice, and the gym is in great shape. Only negative which is really a Houston big city thing and not the resort is that I've heard gun shots at night on two different occasions during this months stay coming from the park area next to the resort. Five or six shots each time and pretty close to the resort. Hope this gets resolved sometime soon. Other than that I give this place five stars. Oh and I haven't noticed many critters other than some spiders and dragon flys and one small snake, but I do spray my RV every month and typically only see the critters outside. The resort also sprays for mosquitos on a consistent basis Update: decent electric bill, will have to learn how to be warmer in the summer months, but that will come with time. Bill was around $200. I think also because I left my batteries charging the whole month rather than letting them sit a little. Mistake learned lol. I think I'm going to really enjoy the fall and winter here. read more

These guys have a clean RV park and it's safe. But they are 100% geared for long term RV sites and not families on vacation. It's good for a 1 night stay if you're passing through. But don't try to vacation here with kids. They are the most picky, anal retentive, weird group of people I have stayed with in over 20 years of RV camping. They came and kicked us out of an empty pool because it was 8:03PM and technically "adults only" hour. We were just trying to leak test some new snorkels before we went to blue lagoon, which would have taken 5 minutes, but they wouldn't even let us finish. We backed an SUV into the spot next to us (still available on their website) to load a baby in the car seat because it was about to rain and they came flying out of the office to put a paper on our car. My 9 year old son went to scoop himself a scoop of popcorn out of their popcorn machine and they came running into the brake room to stop him because you have to be 16 to scoop cold popcorn from a cold machine into a bag. All parks need rules but there is ZERO common sense in how these guys operate compared to most places. read more

Wow! What an oasis! This is truly one of my favorite RV spots we've stopped in the last eight years of traveling. After staying in a not so wonderful place in Louisiana this was a sight for sore eyes. It's a huge park well organized all types of sites with concrete pads and nice grassy sections. It's fairly new so the trees are young and don't not provide much shade but give it a few years and they'll be perfect. The landscaping is really pretty, they are are dog runs located all around the perimeter and even cute little dog wash at the entrance of the park. Golf carts are available for rental which you may need in hot weather in order to get around the park because it's so large. A nice swimming pool and super friendly people in the office. Safe and secure and lots of maintenance people keeping it clean all the time. One nice feature is they allow you to put up a gazebo EZ-up for shade next to your rig. No general store, a few miscellaneous items in the office, a really nice laundry room and bath house. There are 11 Quality resort parks in this area and if they are all as nice as this one I highly recommend them. read more

We moved here from another Quality park a few weeks ago so glad we made the change. The staff here are friendly and helpful They go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and i do mean everyone, It is a refreshing change. It is a great location with a beautiful park across the street for walking jogging or bike riding. You can fish there and keep your fish. The views are amazing here and it is in a prime location where everything you could want is right down the street! And for all of you who have experienced the difficult task of getting in and out on Clay rd will welcome the ease of getting in and out of this place. They haven't got everything up and running yet but I see non stop progress and people working out here even in the rain. I can't say enough about the place We love it here! read more

The facility is super clean, safe, great accessability but most important the team is exceptional. Nanette in Reservations so available and kind. Rhonda & Stephen really set the standard for customer service far above any RV resort/park we have dealt with. They make Hwy 6 feel like home and are always looking to make a customer's experience positive. We will be back for a month in 2020 because of this great service!! I recently visited some family at Hwy 6 Quality Rv Resort. I am impressed with how beautiful the resort looks. I have visited numerous resorts over time and I have to say, Hwy 6 is very nice. I have only a couple of things I dont understand. I saw 3 different lots that were eye sore that I have never seen at other resorts I have visited before. 1 lot, looked like a day care was there. 2nd lot looked like a nursery of plants. 3rd lot looked like a mechanic shop, with trucks being rebuilt the whole time I was visiting. These are kinda an eye sore to see at a nice resort. Lots looking dirty and covered in junk. I hope to come stay at your resorts in near future, but these things have really discouraged me after seeing from just visiting. Next time I visit I hope to see your Resort returned back to a "resort". read more

What a great place to stay. After Hurricane Harvey paid us a visit, we lived in our rv for 6-1/2 months while fixing up our home. Rhonda and Stephen, the managers were always helpful and very friendly, especially with all the parcels I had delivered as we did our rebuild. Shopping is close by and the walking trail across the road is an added bonus. Go up there and watch the sunset, it's fabulous. We would definitely stay there again. read more

We stayed at HWY 6 RV RESORT in Houston, Tx, Feb/Mar 2018. Being one of the newest facilities in Quality RV Resorts lineup and close to where we needed to be it seemed an easy choice. On March 13 our dog was viciously attacked by another dog in the park. The emergency vet bill ran $1200.00. We were informed that a resort employee encountered this same dog and luckily avoided our situation the night before. No action was taken to remove this animal immediately. This was clear negligence on the part of the resort and its employee. Because of this negligence we have asked for help in covering the costs incurred. They have not responded. Must be why Quality RV Resorts has a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. We observed unattended dogs in the dog park area and other dogs allowed to be unleashed at their sites. They will say they took every measure to remedy the situation which should NEVER have occurred. They need to address this issue going forward and implement a vicious breed policy. They need to also investigate how to handle these situations properly. By evicting the people responsible they took away our option for animal control to come out and file a formal complaint, as both parties were no longer on site. Responsible pet owners beware. read more

I would not give this RV park staff even a One star rating, if I could write a review without a star rating. I am an avid RV'er and I have been everywhere in this country. I have never felt so unwanted or out of place/ humiliated, than I did at this resort Park in the rec Hall every time I was there at night . The staff made you feel pushed you out at 7 PM and started cleaning even though they did not close until 10:00 PM. The park hosts are very unprofessional. They do there job and keep a very clean park. But have no concept for the customer . I was swore at and humiliated just because A 12 year old child dropped popcorn on the rec room floor. The popcorn was supplied complimentary at the rec room. It is a Clean park no doubt. The attitude of the staff is not. I would never attend this park again. Unprofessional to say the least. It is a chain resort. My opinion is that the owner should be more aware of the unhospitable gang mentality of the staff that he employs to represent his company.
