So I went with my son here yesterday it was a terrible experience for my son as he and I both kept trying to convey to Larry the owner of this shop what my son wanted. Larry said he could do it and what resulted was my son gettting a wash as well as bad haircut but also got his scalp scalded with water temp too high and from that too freezing cold. End result my son's hair is awful don't know if anyone could fix it as there are bald spots in some places. So he is now wearing baseball cap. My son is in his early thirties needed a new Barber due to one he previously went to retired. My sons hair is as cut by the owner Larry who seemed to have great reviews when we checked and also when my son asked if he had change for a hundred and Larry assumed that even though the hair cut was terrible took upon himself to take ten dollar tip without asking my son first this is very wrong and unprofessional I also want to point out on here people are saying 20 haircuts my son paid 50.00 plus 10.00 for a terrible haircut and experience read more

More of a do what he wants than do what you ask for type guy. Went in to get a clean up trim for my beard. Took off about 3 months of growth. My entire beard is uneven and ruined. This is the type of place for balding or short haired gentlemen. read more

I was getting my shirts from the dry cleaning next door and stumbled upon this place, thought to myself that I could use a haircut right before one of the most important times of the year, for me; Persian New Year's party with family. I went inside and asked for a haircut. I said I need just the sides to be cut, minimal trimming on the top, because I'm keeping my hair long. Next thing I know, my hair is the shortest it has ever been in a decade. I'm practically bald. There are only a few things that I'm self- conscious about, my hair is one of them. I feel beyond disappointed and ugly. Not accepting debit/credit should have been enough of a red flag not to go through with getting a haircut. Terrible experience. read more

Lien was great, very friendly, detail oriented. The other gentleman seemed uninterested that I mentioned that I was a new customer living just down the street with a chance to be a continuing patron. I'm still not used to paying almost 20 bucks for a simple haircut but I guess that's what local shops are also charging so I won't hold it against them. Still searching for the best barbershop for me. I didn't even know this one existed, yet I've lived here 51 years! It's the only barber shop I know of that's open on Mondays. I didn't meet the barbers listed in the other review. Larry was in the shop and did a good job. Very gentle, and very complete. Use hot lather and a straight razor to trim my neck and sideburns. Listened to everything I asked for and did just that. A fair selection of magazines. The price for a simple cut is a few bucks more than other local barber shops, but If I get a good cut, it's worth it. I'll try again a few times and see if my good experience can be replicated. read more

I got a great haircut for $17 without having to wait. It was very convenient near 85 in a shopping center at the corner of Mary & Fremont. The barber was very pleasant and had good conversation. There is also a nice big screen TV in the shop. read more
