Prices are definitely jacked up for Weston, so think of this as a nice convenience store where you know it is all about the convenience and nothing to do with a deal. I needed two things from the bakery department, it required a long wait for help because I needed to wait in line to have the guy at the register call for help (and then return to said line to pay). One item was delicious, one was really stale (tragic when it involves baked goods); I filled out the survey online with a few comments and the Asst Manager (Olimpia) responded the next day and credited my card (thank you!).

Though I bought the cake yesterday, I was able to come in today and have her write on the cake. Besides the bakery department being top-notch, Hannaford's has the most fresh fish I've seen in three states! Try the Atlantic salmon; it is brought in fresh every day! It is so good/so fresh, you can eat it raw (which I do). This Hannaford is a vital part of the Waltham community. We are all so thankful to have this outstanding high-quality supermarket in our town.

I usually come for the little walk around the farm to see what's growing, the u-pick flower garden, to swing on the swing set, and to see if any farm animals are around. There's a parking lot and picnic tables scattered around. Pricing is reasonable, u-pick is about $15, they used to charge by flower stem. They also host events and have activities for kids. Honestly, Weston is more of a suburb so it's a nice surprise for people when I tell them that there is actually more to see than large homes!

I know the staff well at this store and loved shopping here for not only the convenience but the small town/local market type of environment. The Assistant Store Manager Jose completely shattered my trust. In July, Assistant Manager Jose stepped in to address an incident I had with a cashier on store policy (after I had already connected with corporate about it). He vehemently apologized and even purchased me a bottle of wine as an apology. He reassured me that he would speak to the cashiers about it going forward. On Friday, he denied it all and implied it was a one time exception. What upset me most isn't the store policy - I understand and respect that. It was the dishonesty and lack of clear communication. Had management politely communicated in July that this was an exception instead of providing me with a gift and false sense of reassurance it would have drastically changed the circumstances. A manager should stand behind his word or at least address discrepancies with respect. Instead, he denied our conversation happened and he did it in front of staff members I've built relationships with over years. After 6 years of loyalty, I feel completely disrespected. I'm heartbroken because this store meant something to me - it felt like home. I can't trust a business where management lacks integrity.
