I have been going to the Weston Veterinary clinic for 40 years - I wouldn't consider entrusting my fur babies to anyone else

The Big Meatball enjoys visiting, so much so that he kept wanting to go back in as we were getting back in car after appointment. He is so used to people being scared of him when all he wants is to greet everyone and say hi.. Everyone at office makes him feel the love and he was wiggling as soon as we walked in. If he could talk think he would have been telling me to go home and leave him there for the day. read more

I switched to Weston Vet because I had heard good things and my previous vet was too long of a drive. The office is nice and the reception staff were friendly. However, the vet my dogs saw, Dr. Padron, was rude, inexperienced, and barely examined my dogs. Instead of asking questions or getting to know us and our history, she made superficial judgments and assumptions that were not accurate. She questioned how I could know my 9 year old dog was really deaf (um, he was diagnosed at six months right after I adopted him). She didn't seem to believe the opinion of one of the premier orthopedic surgeons in Massachusetts that my Golden's hip is fine as is (and after her exam my dog limped for two weeks, something he hasn't done in the past four years I've had him). The couple of specific issues I did bring up (eg my Golden's skin condition) were brushed off and continue to be a problem. I felt my dogs got extremely subpar care for an extremely high price tag (over $1100 for annual shots for two dogs and simple blood work for one dog - no meds or anything). The other vets at the practice might embody the high standards I was expecting but the vet I saw didn't. read more

Westin vet has definitely gone down hill since dr Preston days. as a family have been going here for over 50 years & today that ends. my dog who has been getting apaquel for over 5 years & is in desperate need of can't get comfort because Weston vet won't call in prescription because " we have to see here first" what you mean is you want $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. This is the only vet I've used, but I can't imaging another place being any better. Like all the other reviews, customer service here is stellar. We love love love Dr Story! He is not only a great doctor, but he has great bedside manner. From basic annual exams to serious medical issues, they are great at what they do! One of our kittys was very sick and we were there weekly for a long period of time...they were always kind and caring...their love for animals really shows. The staff at WVC has taken care of my dogs for over 25 years . An Old English Sheepdog, 2 Golden Retrievers, 3 English Cocker Spaniels, and now an Australian Labradoodle. Dr. Storey is my regular Vet. On other occasions other Vets on staff have cared for my pets. Believe me, they are all very knowledgeable and professional. I enjoy taking my dog there. For me, the clinic is a great place to receive care for my dogs when needed. The entire staff needs the highest praise. read more

Love our vet! They are super responsive via email and Dr. Mackey usually responds directly to us. They book quickly and are probably a little more pricey with $75 just to see your doggo, but they are so nice and sweet with ours and always willing to accomodate if we need a same day Appt for an urgent care moment while they are open. read more

Our vet is excellent and very nice. That being said, this clinic is VERY expensive, and sometime they push unnecessary medications and treatments too hard. I was worried about my puppy getting two shots in one day, so I wanted to do one on our first visit, and the second a week later. What I was not made aware of at the time, however, was that he was going to have ANOTHER check up COSTING $60 AGAIN. It wasn't necessary, and if they knew I was coming in for just a shot, I feel like they should have let me know. In the future, I'll be looking for different vets. read more

Customer service goes a long way, and Weston Vet Clinic has won me over. The staff is amicable and professional, and I feel amazingly comfortable taking my pet there. I feel my cat gets the best treatment he can. The girls at the front desk greet me warmly and are easy to work with. There are five veterinarians (I don't believe all work concurrently, but I could be wrong) and I've had Dr. Kelly Bentley who is very sweet. Everyone truly cares for animals here! The clinic is on route 20 right off 95 on the Weston side, easy to get to. It seems to be an addition to a residential house so it has a homely feel on the outside, but inside is a nice facility. Keep an eye out for the sign at the top of the driveway because it's not a commercial lot. For those concerned about finance, the services are a bit on the expensive side - $60 just for an exam excluding vaccinations for my cat - but if you can afford it, go there. You won't regret the treatment both you and your pet receive. Furthermore, they have a nice website and you can also learn about tips, promotions and such from their e-newsletter. I can't stress enough how customer-savvy Weston Vet Clinic is. read more

I've been bringing my very spoiled pit bull, Dayja to the Weston Veterinary Clinic for almost 2 years. What can you say about a place that has a multicolored full sized plaster cow on their lawn? LOTS! Service: from the minute you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm smile by the front office crew. You and your dog are acknowledged immediately! These ladies know their stuff - they get you in and out with regards to billing, scheduling, answering questions; they do it all. Vet Techs: All wonderful. They handle my dog with gentleness and care. They are warm and engaging and clearly love their work! Resident Dog: There's usually a resident dog that hangs out. He's mellow and mostly sleeps. I think they have him filing from time to time. Low labor cost! Works for treats. Environment: Always clean. Bright. Smells fresh. That's a big deal to me, nothing worse than a tired looking office that smells like wet dog! You won't find that here. Technology friendly. They have an on line system that once you register, you can access your dog's records, billing information etc. Communication: You get relevant newsletter updates/appointment reminders via email. When Dayja was being treated for a skin condition, Dr. Storey called me personally to follow up. He's done this several times! Veterinarians: My dog Dayja is in love with Dr. Neil Storey. Who wouldn't be? He clearly derives a great deal of satisfaction in his career. I've brought my dog into the clinic on several occasions within the last year. Dr. Storey is personable, friendly and an outstanding professional. He's never talked me into treatment my dog didn't need. Doesn't try to sell me products I don't' need nor pet insurance, although it's probably a good idea and he truly takes time with my dog. He answers all my questions about one of the most important things in my life - my dog! Weston Veterinary Clinic is for any dog/animal owner who considers their animals part of the family. Plain and Simple. As far as cost - I'm sure there are clinics that charge less and clinics that charge more. In my opinion, their prices are competitive and fair. read more

I really could not speak higher of this vet/clinic. My wife and I brought in our dog as we thought he had an ear infection. The doctor treated him quickly explaining each step. He noticed that the dog had a routine visit coming up for distemper shots and took care of that as well, and when the dog scooted on the floor expressed his anal glands. Regardless of the poking and prodding the dog still loves gonig here and the people treat the pets like patients. I ahve been to other vets, and they all seem shady, there are ones that need an xray for ANY visit, others that overcharge for any med that you can buy at petco (x4 Really), and others that tack on an urgent/emergency visit cgarge of $100+ if it isn't the year;y routine. This isn't one of those places. Try them, you'll like them. read more

after a very bad experience at another vet I went her I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. They been so sweet to me and my cats. When my cats died one from cancer one from FIP they called me to give condone and sent a doation to a charity in there name They been nothing but kind sweet and always aaured me my cat was not the worst and it was okay for him to misbehave at the vet . My two rescue dogs come here and I couldn't be happier. When I moved from the Metrowest area, I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to find a veterinary office that I liked as much as my former. Weston Vet exceeded my expectations. The staff is always warm and friendly. The premises are bright and clean. I brought my two dogs in because they just didn't "look" right to me. I think most other offices would've thought that I was gonzo, but the vets here totally listened to me and ran a comprehensive blood panel. One of my dogs had lyme disease and the other had anaplasmosis, which is no surprise given how often they run in the woods. When it was time to give them a prescription, I told them that my dog did not respond well to Doxycycline. We worked *together* to find a drug regimen that would be effective but make me comfortable. I appreciated that they allowed me to be an advocate for my pet, didn't talk down to me because I'm not a veterinarian, but heard my concerns and tried to accommodate reasonable requests. One of my dogs loves coming here because of how much attention everyone gives her. She thinks we're going to a party that was put together just for her. read more

I have been taking my two Maltese here to Dr. Story for past 8 years or so. I have always loved their service and everybody is amazing with my dogs. Dr. Story is really gentle, knowledgable with my pets. Yes they are bit pricey but I can always count on them. Also my pets get a card each with all their and vaccination info on it. This veterinary clinic is clean, efficient and and has wonderful doctors. I have been a pet-owner my entire life, and am consistently thrilled with the warmth of the staff and how caring they are with my golden. They also call you back when there has been a lab test, and are proactive. I use Dr. Storey who is absolutely wonderful! He is gentle, practical, and very knowledgeable. The true test is with Maggie. She actually runs to get in the door! I have never had a dog that loved going to the vet, and I think this really says something about the entire office and how they truly love the pets they care for. read more

This is the best veterinary clinic I have been to. I even travel from Cambridge to take my cat there. From the moment I walk in the door I feel incredibly welcomed and like my cat is in great hands. I have been taking my pets to Weston Vet for over 5 years. They are wonderful and have taken such great care of my pets. The ladies at the desk are super nice and efficient, the facilities are clean and modern, and the vets are great. I normally see Dr. Storey, but because of various unexpected pet illnesses and maladies, I have seen several of the other vets, too. The office is very accommodating and I have always been able to schedule last minute appointments to get my cats or dog in because they weren't feeling well. Coming here has got to be hands down one of the best experiences with a vet I've ever had!! I brought my foster dog here to get checked out for an issue. From walking in the door to leaving it was amazing all around. The vet, Dr. Schlesinger, was so gentle, kind, and knowledgeable. She time with him to figure out what was going on and came up with a great course of action. Most times it's only about 10 minutes with the vet and you're rushed out the door. I felt like she cared just as much about my pup as I did. Very thorough, caring, clean, and helpful. Great job and keep it up!! read more

Been using Weston Vets for over 22 years for 3 cats. The care is competent and fairly priced. One of our cats (long gone) was very difficult to deal with yet they (especially Dr Storey) was able to work with her just by putting her in a room where she could look out the window. I'm new to Boston and needed a vet for my Chiweinie. (I know! Only in Arizona would they think of crossing a Chihuahua and a Dachshund. WHAT were they drinking?). At any rate, she had a couple of issues that I needed to have checked out. The staff at Weston was extremely pleasant and helpful. Dr. Storey was thorough and unrushed. He explained everything in terms I could understand and his diagnosis was right on the money. My dog is now completely healthy and also seems much, much happier, so she must've known she was ill before I realized it. As a result, she has become fanatically devoted to me, fawning on me every chance she gets. Not sure how I feel about THAT, but I'm sure I'll be using Weston Vet forever. Great place! read more

When I arrived for Chance's appointment. The power was out at the office. The staff was still able to help and able to take care of Chance's appointment. There was only one accociate that was frustrated with the outage and didn't make me feel welcome. Otherwise I was not concerned with the outage and neither was my dog. Weston Vet is the BEST animal practice around. They are nestled in a residential neighborhood minutes from the Rt.20/128 rotary on the Waltham, Weston line. the practice is an addition to a house so it has a very "homey, comfortable" feel to it, there is additional parking in the back but in my 4yrs of going there I've never used it. Once inside you are blown away at the modern, clean appearance of this place, the waiting / reception area is spacious and inviting. You immediately notice the professionalism as soon as you walk through the front door. Everyone including the receptionist's wear scrubs with their names embroidered. This practice has 5 very seasoned Veterinarians whom I have heard are all very nice. We see Dr. Krawshuk who is an extremely gentle and kind soul. His demeanor and personality fit ours perfectly, I couldn't be happier. Just recently one of our cats needed some serious dental work done, Dr. Krawshuk met with me to discuss the procedure, again he was very patient answering all my questions. Upon the day of her surgery although I was an emotional wreck I had no qualms trusting my kitty's care in Dr. Krawshuk's. He is the most affectionate, caring, educated, Veterinarian I have ever met. He has a calm, reassuring demeanor to him and he is always honest and tells you exactly they way it is. One really big thing they strive for at Weston Vet is to educated pet owners about things. They have a wonderful website with information galore as well as a virtual tour of their office and pictures of the staff; do please check them out you won't be disappointed! read more

I have used a vet locally in Dedham for a long time where I just did not feel comfortable that I was getting the best service for my dog. Anyways, I decided to try Weston Veterinary Clinic and every person there loves animals. It is a happy place and the vet, Mike Krawshuk, could not have been nicer. My dog had prior kidney issues and he did a special predictive test to see if there were any re-emerging issues. Above and beyond, in my view. Overall, it is a clean office and they get things done quickly and with a great deal of love for the animals. read more

Although I don't live that close to the Weston Vet, I've been bringing my cats to Dr. Storey for over 20 years. It's always a positive experience. I really appreciate how Dr. Storey always goes the extra mile to educate you about your pet. He's showed me how to tell if my cats are dehydrated, for example, or how many heart beats is normal for my cats. Several years ago, I had to bring my beloved, 16 year old Burmese cat to Emergency Care at Angell Animal Hospital late one night. The next day I was at Angell, distraught about my cat, but Dr. Storey took the time to talk me through medical options for my cat over the phone. He was compassionate and reassuring, especially when I had to make that most difficult, but humane decision that all pet lovers dread. read more

They are amazing!! When adopted our kitten, we soon found out he was very sick. They saw us right away, and helped us with his medication. Since then we have been back for his "fixin" and two annual check ups. Never, have we had to wait In a lobby full or barking dogs. Its always clean and they never try to sell you on things. And are always super caring. The Staff is just incredible. The support staff is always very friendly and personable. We always go in around Halloween and there are pics of the vets and staff dressed up in costumes with their animals which is just adorable! I can't not mention Dr. Mike. He has just got the best "bed side" manner. He takes the time to talk about our little guy, what he is doing is looking for, what were doing right. He is just such a nice man and always takes the time for our questions. The morning of Diggy's surgery he called me immediately afterward cause he "could sense I was nervous". Have been seeing Dr. Storey and staff for 8+ years with my Bullmastiff who has had MANY health issues from her first visit onward. Cannot say enough great things about this practice. Everyone is so friendly and I feel like part of the WVC family. I used to work right down the street so it was very easy to get to. Now that I have changed jobs, I have about a 30 minute drive, but I refuse to go to another vet closer to where I live. read more

I can't begin to express how much I love the Weston Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Bentley is great with both dogs and people. My dog came in for a dog bite recently, and we got great advice from the staff, including Dr. Bentley. They treated my dog wonderfully and his ear is healing so fast thanks to their expertise! All of the staff are genuinely good people who love the animals they work with. I never thought that my dog would love the vet, or even that I would love the vet. Highly recommend! read more

Weston Vets are just terrific. We have been clients since 2001 when we got our first dog. The staff is friendly, responsive and remember us when we call. The icing on the cake was this weekend when we bumped into our vet that diagnosed our dog with cancer 2 months ago, he said a quick hello and didn't care enough to ask how my dog was doing during treatment.... it confirmed my thoughts these doctors really don't care. Most recently when our cat was ill, his doctor reached out beyond office hours to communicate and offer guidance. Specialists were found and continuity of care was assured, with the office sending all relevant paperwork and test results. This clinic may be more expensive, but compared to others we've been to over the years, the quality of care is far superior at Weston Vet, and they genuinely care about the health of pets. read more

We just had our first appointment at Weston Veterinary Clinic and were thoroughly pleased. The front office staff and technician were super nice and welcoming, and we absolutely loved Dr. Krawshuk. He has such a warm personality. You can instantly tell that he cares about your pet and wants to do all he can to make you comfortable. He answered all questions without feeling rushed, performed a thorough exam, and was very clear about our pet's health and how to keep him healthy moving forward!
