We were given A Contact with Westport Mortgage, Pt Nivakoff Dec 2020 for a refi on a rental property. We thought we were in good hands. They were given all the paper work needed In Jan 2021. Then the excuses came; They were busy, went on vacation, she was moving etc. We know there was an epidemic and knew that a refi would take as long as 3-4 months so we stayed with Westport Mortgage. Fast forward to May. Pat asked for our tax returns which were sent to her in January. She said she could not read them. Why wait 5 Months to ask now? Dont Mortgage lender need the returns in to start the process. Meanwhile during this whole process we emailed, text pat and many cases no response. We had to keep calling text email. We said ok with a promise that she will get the disclosers. As of this point we never received any paper work. We contacted the owner and he was surprised because he said Pat did a great job. He said from this point on we will see progress. Pat called us asap. She said she was busy etc,and that we would be her Priority. Many many excuses why she did not get back to us; Moving, Vacation, forgot phone etc etc. We were told June/july the disclosers and we would her from the underwriter this week and will be emailed in a few days. Week goes by no email. We emailed/text pat twice finally called and said they were sent to the email and asked for email again so she can Resend. No emails etc Then finally in Sept we had enough with all the stalling. I sent an email to Pat and Both owners stating we do not wish to continue because of all the delays and I would follow up with the time line of delays. No response. A few days later I sent a complete time line from Jan to Sept. Again no response. We feel that we were targeted for some reason and they wanted us to quit. Perhaps we were Redlined. I do not know. The day after I pulled out I called our local bank and with in10 dats We had the discloser papers and full steam ahead. There is so muck more to this. The reason we were still involved is that she keep making promises and keep us going. There rate at the time was good. We also spent so much time on this we did not want to start all over. I sent my info to Banking commision. Hopefully they can talk with them so this does not happen to anyone else. read more

i cant even rate them it was bad. they charged me for double .inspections,changes lenders and that ended up costing me again they didnt call back my realitor,she left messages . no one new what was going on i had to call and do ,an up date on my own.i personal wasnt happy with them. they lied to me telling me thing were going great and in the end it took another couple months almost 3.they tell one realitor one thing and tell mine something else. the guy i bought the house from didnt no he couldnt sell it for 180 days and i was going to close in oct. and didnt close till right before the 1st of jan.i am so glad that night mare is over .and there is more but i am sorry i didnt have a good experence with them. read more
