By chance, I saw someone who was walking worse than I was. She had vein surgery and improved dramatically. I see that Riverchase is now employing Dr. Ward as its vein specialist. I received a thorough exam using the most up-to-date machines, and after the exam, I made an appointment to see Dr. Ward. He looked over my results and told me he could fix at least 80% of my pain. These surgeries are performed in the office. I felt minor pain but nothing else. I had to have two procedures on my leg to fix the problem. Three days after the last operation, I could start walking again. I have minor pain that is more than likely due to where the surgery took place than any other problems. The office and staff at Riverchase are top-notch. I am lucky to have found them.

Have to say the staff and doctor did a great job overall. This is a tough review to write for that…read morereason. Our issue is with one of their procedures and their billing. On our first visit, they suggested we use them in addition to our dentist, in other words let them perform one of the two cleanings each year. Thought that was a good idea and we booked it. What they failed to mention is that I would have to pay an additional 125$ because it's with an periodontist office and they either wouldn't be able to justify it for insurance purposes or they couldn't justify it--never could figure that out. (My 2 dental cleanings each year are normally fully covered.) That rubbed us the wrong way and was tricky on their part. The 2nd strike is we have been there 2x's and they never bill us correctly. I had to "babysit" the bills as I went back and forth a few times between my insurance company and the office. (Interestingly enough, the bills were always more than they should have been and this is an in-network place for us.) Sadly we will never return.

They billed me for an endoscopy which was never performed during my 2nd office visit. All he used was a tool called a spectrum to open my nostrils and visually look up my nose which literally took 5 seconds. So when I received my bill there was a charge of approx $800 for this service called "ENDOSCOPY" which was never performed. I questioned the charge but to no avail. I called my insurance, the billing and fraud board department and interestingly enough that's when I got a termination notice. BEWARE!!!

Visiting his office was a game changer for sure. After meeting with him, I had no doubt he was the physician for me. Being faced with a cancer diagnosis, having to undergo a bilateral mastectomy, months of chemo, reconstruction, and a lot of uncertainty; it was all exceptionally overwhelming for me. From the day I met him, Dr. Baccaro has treated me in a way that I feel his care for me. He's so kind and compassionate, exceptionally bright and talented, and has carefully guided me each step of the way. He works with a great team as well. Lisa, Brittany, and Amy are so lovely and totally committed to exceptional patient care. I've been a regular patient there for months due to the nature of my needs. Dr. Baccaro and his nurse, Lisa, always have thorough answers to all my questions, both pre and post op- and everything in between. Lisa is so endearing. Her sweet and charming demeanor has calmed me through the turmoil of breast cancer. I recently underwent my reconstruction surgery with Dr. Baccaro and am so happy with my results. My mastectomy/reconstruction looks more like an augmentation, its remarkable. I highly recommend Dr. Baccaro and would absolutely 100% trust him with any procedure, especially given mine was so radical. He's a very skilled and talented surgeon with a keen eye and is truly meticulous, taking his time for the benefit of his patients. I had to then have more fillers to achieve a better look. The temporal brow was minimal and does not reflect any results, so more fillers were necessary. It took almost 5 months for one side to fully close. It kept spitting sutures. This was my body, not Dr. BONETTS fault. He is extremely pleasant, you feel comfortable in his hands but, I should have just stayed with injections.

My mother is wheelchair-bound, and suffers from dementia; she would not allow a dentist to look at her teeth in almost a year, but the charming Dr. Pavlos was able to examine and clean her teeth with a minimal amount of protest. Be wary of Patricia Pavlos…read more She was my family dentist for 15 years & I had the greatest respect for her skills and compassion most of that time. She's always been pricey but her work was top notch & I felt she was worth it. In recent years she started crafting crowns in-house and the results have been devastating for me. She's not insurance friendly so I saved for years to have her "fix my smile". She was working with a lab at that time (circa 2010) and the crowns they fabricated for my 4 front teeth were beautiful, naturally she guaranteed her work in perpetuity. Several years later (7-8) one of the 4 teeth fell out so I called her office immediately. It turned out she was on vacation that week so I had to pay "emergency/after hour rates" even though it was during normal business hours! That that was just the beginning of my problems. Around a year later I got hit in the face & broke one of my beautiful front teeth... that's when she told me she was surprised they had lasted as long as they did! What happened to her expectation that they would last a lifetime? By this time she was fabricating the teeth in-house and the results were far less than desirable. She was having difficulty getting the tooth to fit and look right but she seemed ok with having to remake the tooth, or so I thought! After many office visits and an overwhelming amount of hours sitting her chair while she "fit me in" she let it slip that she had done a dozen teeth in the amount of time she had spent trying to get that one tooth right for me! Can you imagine how I felt? Eventually I gave up on any hope of having the smile that I saved for years to achieve, and left her office with a discolored tooth with a platypus effect and I am now saving to have all of my teeth redone by another practitioner! That was two years ago and it's taken me this long to post this severely unfavorable review, it brings me no joy but I just can't shake the feeling that it's the right thing to do. Be wary and be very careful, even the best of dentists can grow greedy to the point of forsaking your smile and you can't grow new teeth!
