It's perfect for me because my skin is pretty oily, so when I've gotten just microblading done in the past, my brows have faded pretty quickly. Marianne's combo work has held up really well, and my brows have kept me looking fresh even through a very sweaty, humid trip to Mexico :P I love that Marianne always checks to make sure I'm 100% happy with how my brows look before we finish an appointment. I can be a bit particular, and I've had bad experiences with getting uneven brows in the past, so her attentiveness and patience is super appreciated. She works with you on the lash style that is best for your face shape and if you're looking to be low key or glam. Her studio is adorable, comfortable and easy to find. She's pretty flexible with scheduling but fills up quickly because of her prices and because she's so great! Both of my sessions were about 2-3 hours (first one was longer) but Mel keeps the conversation going. She gives numbing cream / gel which is great haha. For some reason my first session wasn't that bad but the second session was painful! lol I'm blaming it on dry winter skin. The parking lot is tiny so give yourself enough time to find a space. Another woman in the salon said that you can park in the lot behind the building as long as it's not the bar lot. I should have went with my intuition and left. My eyebrows are noticeably uneven and unnatural looking. She was incredibly lazy, she was finished in about 20 minutes with everything. There is one solid line that starts at the peak of my arch and goes all the way to the end of my brow. There is another line that goes down towards my eye that I now have to cover with make up. TBH, I went to her because her price was a lot lower than others that I saw on Groupon and now I know why- she does not know what she is doing. Ironically, I'm paying the ultimate price of living with ugly fucked up eyebrows. Do not be cheap! I obviously got what I paid for.
