Parking sucks. The receptionist is a nice down to earth gal. Came in and angel was quick and gentle. My eyes are sensitive so they burned and stung even with the ointment for numbness. He did an amazing job. I would have preferred a thicker line like the pictures with more wing too. Overall quality is good. Your paying for expertise and experience. MICROBLADING - Kostas I cannot express how lovely these people are. In the beginning when they were finding my shape Kostas and Daria were very hands on, working as a team. As soon as you walk in someone is greeting you in person or intercom and they tell you to have a seat, enjoy some of their infused water and someone will be right with you. This review is mainly for being a model. Prior to showing up for my appointment, I had several emails with the staff and they responded promptly. I got microblading done by a student in September. I was suppose get a second touch up but due to personal reasons I wasn't able to until next year. Normally Kostas would do a follow up and correct any details. I wouldn't recommend being a model since my results didn't come out the way I wanted. I understand that everyone is different but from my own personal experience it's safer to use a professional like Daria. I sure hope that my yearly touch up will fix the problem areas. read more

He is a very passionate about his craft which I figured out quickly when I mentioned I was hesitant about lip tinting. After talking to him I feel safe about pursuing that in the future. I got my permanent eyeliner with wings retouched by Kostas. He did a great job. I believe it looked way better than the original and lined up evenly on both eyes. I would definitely go back not only for touch up but also to get my eyebrows redone too. I'm extremely confident that whatever I want will be perfectly done by Daria and Kostas. I wouldn't trust my face to anybody else. With regards to the process, YES, it is painful. However, Kostas was very mindful to keep applying topical anesthesia. I love how he's very thorough. What I appreciate the most is his passion n concentration to details, while being mindful as he works on my eyes. Daria!!! She seriously does magic!!! She's so amazing I can't even explain it. This was the first time I ever had any type of permanent make up whatsoever on my face so I was extremely nervous. Once I met Daria, she started by measuring and tracing my ideal eyebrow shape. She spent so much time on making sure the shape was perfect. Afterwards, we discussed on the type of coloring. I typically have ombré/balayage hair so I wanted something that would look good with it along with dark hair when I wanted. After agreeing to the shape, we began the process. She did little pokes on my eyebrows to pierce the skin to put numbing cream on it. It did work, however it did wear off. The procedure was not the greatest feeling, but it was tolerable. I have a tattoo on my waist so I would compare it to something similar in that effect. She did micro strokes and then did some shading because I wanted to make sure my eyebrows looked like it had make up on it. She did exactly what I wanted!! I can't wait until it heals. After searching and searching for the best permanent makeup artist to go to, I came across Daria Chuprys. What I loved most about the work I saw online by her is how fine her line work is, in comparison to all the other artists I was considering AND how natural her results are. I suffer from Alopecia Universalis so I had no eyebrow hairs at all coming in, making it more difficult because it's harder to make it look more natural when you have nothing to follow. Just a blank canvas! I saw that she has an image of a woman who also got the eyebrow tattoo done with little to no hair and it looked amazing! so that was very reassuring for me and one of the main reasons I chose her. I went to my consultation first and booked the appointment the same day. I loved the shape we settled on and was really excited but still obviously very nervous (because this is my face!) I walked in for the procedure and was greeted by Daria herself and her assistant/tech Mary (who is also super sweet, knowledgeable & comforting), filled out some paperwork and we went right to it. We spent about an hour just discussing the final shape alone and once we got it down, she began. She let me look at the first part of the process and I was brought to tears! (good tears! great tears!) I haven't had any eyebrows in 14 years due to my Alopecia and now all of a sudden they were back. She continued adding more strokes and detail and I'm floored by the results. It looks like hair! The healing process was great. Itchy by the 3rd/4th day but that was expected thanks to the extremely detailed packet of information they provide you with here. My skin retained most of the brow strokes with the exception of a few spots here and there (also expected and explained from the beginning). I came back about a month later for my touch up and there was a bit more pain then the first time around but still very tolerable! Now I'm waiting for the touch up to heal but I have no doubt it will be fabulous. I highly highly highly 100% 10/10 recommend Daria for this procedure. If you're looking around and going back and forth between artists, go with Daria because of her impeccable precision! If you're nervous and keep putting it off, just do it. you'll wonder why you waited so long! Later I founder her on Facebook & requested her as a friend. * I look at her page almost daily since I found her and am so impressed with the work that she does. *Since, finding her on Yelp, adding her on both Facebook & Instagram, Daria Chuprys's name and business has BOOMED. *Daria already has an established name in Greece where she has her own eyebrow school & has one located in Beverly Hills, CA. * Students from ALL OVER THE WORLD, come to learn from her because she is literally THE BEST! * My eyebrows have always been very light and thin, so although I do have natural hairs, they are very sparse and since my skin is very dark, my eyebrows look very faint. For years, I have been filling my eyebrows in. I joke with my friends that when I look at my pics from the previous years, it is as if I am going through the evolution of my eyebrows... and boy is it accurate. *I have friends who have the same issues as I do. We look at photos and reviews of experts in the beauty business that specialize just in eyebrows. Years ago, my friend found a woman who is an expert in eyebrows, but she was located in Florida. At the time, we were both considering making appointments and flying there. When I found Daria was in Beverly Hills, CA, only an hour away from me, I knew I had NO EXCUSE to not get my brows done! * I contacted Daria and reached her awesome assistant, Meagan. I told her that I am Daria's biggest fan and would basically do anything to get an appointment. I told her that I would volunteer as a model if ever they needed one, I'd even take a day off just to go to her. Meagan, was kind enough to set me up with an appointment for Feb. 27th, but unfortunately, it had to be cancelled because a model wasn't needed for that class, which is typical if students want to be models for one another. * I was rescheduled right away for the date of Tuesday, March 22nd at 3pm. Meagan emailed me the week before to confirm & I was eagerly awaiting the day. * Coincidentally, Meagan called me wanting to know if I could come in earlier (March 11th), but it conflicted with my schedule, so I sent my sister, Dyna to go and get her eyebrows worked on. My sister was excited as she, herself, is an esthetician and knows the quality of work that Daria is capable of. My sister is now 12 days out and her eyebrows look great! * Keep in mind, although I volunteered as a model, there is fees attached for the products they use on you, this is called the "table set up fee". So, it is at a very discounted rate, but DARIA IS WORTH EVERY PENNY, AT THE FULL COST (which I easily would have paid, and was willing to). *Since, I did not want to take a full day off of work, I had to come in my office clothes with a full face of makeup. I recommend going bare faced as you will get your eye makeup taken off anyways for them to shape your brows before they actually do the microblading. Students work with you as a model and shape your eyebrows, but everything is supervised by Daria and her husband Kostantinos. Daria will do most of the outline of the microblading. They are PERFECTIONISTS! So, don't ever feel like you are getting 2nd rate brows as a volunteer model... you are getting the best working on you! * You will need to be in their chair lying down for a while, so avoid drinking too many liquids before the appt. Of course you can go to the bathroom, but you want to avoid too many bathroom breaks so you don't lose momentum (but I was there for 5 hours and I went 3 times). The shaping of my brows took the longest. They did a lot of measure to make sure they were precise. They always encourage women to do more natural shaped brows so that they will always look the best on you, regardless of the eyebrow trends that come and go. The color of ink chosen for you is personalized to your skin tone. Daria is such a BOSS at choosing the colors. She looked at me for a couple of minutes and knew exactly how much of each ink I needed for my brows. She could even see the purple undertones in my skin and had something to counter balance that in the ink. I was BEYOND impressed. * I am writing this 1 day after my procedure & although I know it will be a few weeks before they are fully healed, my eye brows already look AMAZING one day out. Expect to have a very strict and diligent after-care process. My experience as a student (and as a demo model for the class) was exciting, amazing, and I'm so grateful to have Daria and Kostas as my mentors. After two years of considering permanent makeup I came across Daria Chuprys' Academy on Instagram and decided to go through with it. My standards are extremely high so I was ecstatic to find a professional that I would feel 100% safe with. I began with their signature Bombre Brows and it wasn't long before I scheduled my appointment for permanent eyeliner and lipstick, all which have fully healed now and look absolutely beautiful. All three of my procedures have been performed by PMU Artist Kostas within the timespan of a year. I can hands down say I felt no pain and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. Kostas is in my opinion a master of aesthetics and his focus was on obtaining natural results that enhanced my features at all times. The results (as you will see in the pictures below) are beautiful and life changing. I have cut my makeup routine in half by no longer needing to apply (and reapply) lipstick, pencil in (and waterproof) eyebrows/eyeliner and most importantly my eyes are no longer constantly irritated due to their sensitivity to just about every makeup brand out there. Acostas does a very thorough and diligent job with removing the botch eyeliner job that I got over a year ago. He really cares for his clients and even though I am willing to go frequently, he advises against it since he cares about the healing process of the skin. Every time I go there, I feel that there is hope to having this removed. I went somewhere else that does eyeliner removal once every 6 weeks and a bit cheaper. Not to say anything negative about their services but they don't numb the area nor do they provide the aftercare kit which includes the plastic eye-shield for when you shower (even though they are slightly cheaper). Acostas really takes his time by numbing the eye, leaving the room and going back in to approach the removal in stages. Thank goodness for this place. read more

Normally I hate to leave bad reviews but I'm so unhappy with my eyebrows right now I paid so much money expecting to be happy with the results. I went to Daria 3 times. I had cancer and I'm on natural pills, which we thought that's one of the reasons why my eyebrows were turning grey color on me. So I suggested to them that the smokey eye procedure might be better for me sense we weren't having too much success with the microblading,Daria had her husband do my eyebrows. I wanted a natural look and now I still have to pencil in my eyebrows which don't look natural at all and my eyebrows are VERY spotty. The staff and Daria are all very nice but unfortunately for me it wasn't a great experience for the money I spend. read more

Kostas is amazing at what he does, he takes the time to really look at your face shape to see how your eyebrows should be , he doesn't rush and will draw and look at you at different angles to make sure it fits you. When doing the procedure he reassures you the whole time how great and natural they look and is not heavy handed. I just went for my touch up and they are still amazing , the healing process is easy and if you have questions he is quick to respond. The final results are beyond natural looking , Ive taken off 30 min out of my morning routine not having to draw and redraw eyebrows , best decision I've ever made! read more

Worst experience!!! I did the microblading eyebrows and after two weeks it's gone !! And I called them and they said it's totally normal after one month and one week I went back and they were oh the product doesn't go with your skin and this whole procedure doesn't work with your skin !!! Such a great experience at Darias. Great communication with the receptionist or assistant. My first time I went in as a model for my lips with a student and Kostas (Darias husband). The place is clean and has great decor. Kostas is very knowledgeable and does a great job. I went in for a touch up next time and so excited with the results! Next was partial eyeliner removal (previous work by other location) - again with Kostas. I followed all instructions for a great result. And I'm so excited to say the scabs fell of yesterday and it is 90% gone!! I'm so happy to not have to cover the poor work anymore. Easy parking - valet only $18/day. read more

I've always thought my brows were gross and too close to my eyes, no arch, blah blah blah. I've hated them forever and had considered doing permanent makeup before but was a little apprehensive about pulling the trigger on something so... permanent. Then I saw Daria's work and immediately made an appointment. The procedure didn't really hurt at all- just felt weird and sounded kind of gross- and the healing time was fairly easy to deal with. Now I love my brows sooooo much. It opens up my face really well and I can finally do dramatic eye makeup, which I never could pull off before. Without other makeup on it just looks like my eyebrows are super on point. With other makeup on I typically have to go over it a bit with my eyebrow pencil, but it creates a really fantastic shape for me to follow.
