Afterward, I learned that many providers do not inject PRP into the cheeks this way at all, which makes me question why this treatment was recommended and performed in that area in the first place. At first, the result seemed fine, but over time the volume changed and appears to have shifted into other areas. The worst part is that, unlike filler, I can't simply have it dissolved. When I contacted the clinic, instead of offering to evaluate the problem or help find a solution, they suggested I may have had the procedure somewhere else. I know exactly where I had it done, and if another clinic had done it, I would obviously be contacting that provider instead. Regardless of whether they agree with my concerns, I believe a clinic should take a patient seriously when they report an unwanted result from a procedure performed there. I would like them to acknowledge the situation, properly evaluate what happened, and work with me toward a solution rather than questioning my account of where the treatment was performed.

HOLY CRAP BUYER BEWARE…read more To be completely , let me begin by saying I've been coming to LaserAway for years for my Botox and absolutely have loved nearly every injector that I've had here and have been very happy with my results. I've been lucky that the timing has aligned that when I'm running low, they're usually offering a "bank" deal (and their deals are great!) so I'll spend $1500 or $2200 at a time but that will last me for a good period. Now, I'm due for a treatment and moving soon, so I wanted to use up the end of my 'Tox bank and add a few extra units at full price to get to my typical treatment without re-upping another full bank until I know where I'm moving. As it turns out, ladies...they do NOT sell individual units! Laseraway has a policy of a minimum spend of $300 in units, even when paying full price, so that you will ALWAYS have money on the table with them. A classic ScamCity move. I'm shocked-I know this is a chain and a corporation so they don't really care, but I had taken them as such an honest company and I'm totally blown away. In the end, they win I guess, as I can't imagine continuing my relationship with this company after this. I think a smaller medspa or solo aesthetician is the way to go.

For the treatment itself, I expected pain akin to tattoo shading on a sensitive area - this was so much worse. The nurse assured me it was fine. Afterwards I was incredibly swollen and had deep grid marks from the device. This continued well beyond their aftercare timeline, and I contacted LaserAway by email and phone. It took nearly a week for anyone to get back to me. By then I had already gone to an actual dermatologist and was put on a steroid cream to help heal the damage and prevent scaring. I learned that the settings used on the device were way too aggressive. My skin remained inflamed for weeks, and over a year later I still have grid mark texture all over my face, neck and chest & have lost significant volume in my fat pads around my eyes, lips and cheeks. Getting anyone on the phone to resolve this felt impossible by design - eventually I got a hold of the sales rep who sold me in initially, and explained that I had a horrible outcome and cannot continue. They changed my remaining pre-paid package value to laser hair removal, which felt low risk enough. Of the 8 sessions of laser hair removal I had, my appointments were changed 4 separate times, often same day.
