Our server seemed to disappear for long periods of time, and when she did swing by, it was a brief check in of "y'all okay?" while continuing to walk past. Given that we had waited so long between check-ins, our table of four had several requests each time, but it felt like we were just holding our server up from something more pressing. Also even though it's currently 100+ degrees outside, they still don't pull the shades down over the doors to the patio that no one is utilizing, which causes the main dining room to heat up to the point it's miserable. I got up to use the restroom and literally left a sweat puddle on the booth seat because it was so hot and uncomfortable inside. Unfortunately the slow paced service, uninformed staff, and uncomfortable atmosphere far outweigh the food and beer. This evening was my first time in nearly six months to hit up Flyway, and I was quickly reminded why we tend to go elsewhere in the neighborhood.
