This is one of those amazing "hole in the wall" type places you have to stop at during a road trip. Great food, good service, very reasonable prices, family of 5 ate for $44. We all got combo meals and still had leftovers. It did take about 15-20 minutes to get the food but it was cooked to order. I wish I'd had room to try the sweets! Maybe next time. A top notch burger. Would come back for the burger for sure. Love a good food place in a small town. It took a chunk of time to get our food and there was only one other couple in front of us. (Not sure how this place would do in a lunch rush) The tots and onion rings were tasty but served with way too much fry oil still in them...perhaps upping your fry oil temp would help...also burnt flakes on tots and rings was telling me your fry oil is old... I would probably rate this a 2.5, nice fellas working the window, just had a problem with food and cleanliness of the facility. Food was kind of greasy and my canned soda had a flavor on the lip it that was not appetizing. Building had webs everywhere and pressure washed, not sure what the kitchen looked like, but I imagine it needs cleaned as well. read more

After reading the great reviews here I had to try it. I am always looking for the next great burger. I agree with one of the previous reviews that said its juicy on the inside with a touch of pink (perfect) and crispy edges. Wow. Delicious!! We stopped on our way from Kansas City to Little Rock, and it was just the thing. Nice family run place, exactly what you'd expect from the menu: shakes, burgers, fries-- except they extend the ideas: fried pickles, fried mushrooms, funnel cake fries, fried pies (empanadas/ chocolate pies). They were out of tots because of supply chain issues (thanks, Covid-19), but he offered tots with cheese inside as a substitute, which were even better! The spicy chicken sandwich was crispy, the lettuce was crisp, the tomatoes were amazing; my husband said it was a really great cheeseburger (thin doubled patties with the crispy edges), and the fries tots and onion rings all had Parmesan and pepper sprinkle. This place is great! Ordered cheeseburger that had really fresh tomatoes and romaine lettuce. The burger was very flavourful and grilled kinda smash style. It was juicy in the middle and crispy seared on the outside. It came with a generous amount of seasoned waffle fries too! We also got funnel fries that are made from funnel cake batter and those were excellent! The final item we ordered were raspberry something or other that I can't remember the name of but good lord! My husband saw this place on a you tube video and the burgers looked like the old fashion greasy type burger. We were headed that way so made a point to stop by. They were just as wonderful as they looked. Had a perfect toasted bun. Fries were a tasty side. Would have loved to try the fried pies, but didn't have room. Food was walked to your picnic table. My husband and I discovered this little white gem in West Fork after a morning hike. We were both hungry and pulled into White Fork to find something to eat and there was the Sugar Shack. I ordered the Old Soul Basket (a cheeseburger with Frito Pie on top) - the burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. It was so good we ordered dessert also. We can totally recommend the cheesecake chimichangas - YUM! You won't want to skip over this restaurant because of its friendly service and delicious food. read more

This little corner stand in West Fork is off the beaten path, and worth a side trip. Locals lined up is always a good sign. Super friendly folks behind the counter and serving the food. They have an outside picnic area and the weather was beautiful that day, but you might need to make it to go if the weather turns bad. Food is fresh so you will probably wait a bit, but it was worth it for us. I had a spicy chicken sandwich with sauted mushrooms and Swiss, large serving of fries. Quite good. The others had burgers, and they said 4 out of 5 on those. Frankly, I plan on stopping again when we pass back through. Gourmet food? No. Good food made fresh in a country setting, when you are tired of the fast food chains? Absolutely. Give it a try. read more

What is not good is when I called tonight and asked them what time they closed, and they said 7:00 pm, they were not there when I tried calling at 5:45!
