Highly recommend Dr. Junsung Park. He was very thorough during my chiropractic consultation and I did not feel rushed at all. I came in with a headache and pain throughout my spine. I was shown a picture that was taken to see my current alignment and we discussed my X-rays. He set my spine and I could instantly move my neck and my headache was gone. I instantly felt taller, too! Afterwards, he showed me some exercises to do at home and discussed a treatment plan. He mentioned I would be sore and gave me a couple of ice packs after I mentioned I didn't own any. Superb attention and care. I felt like I was the only patient in the office even though I knew I wasn't. My mood and stress levels improved instantly. Dr. Park is awesome - I usually come in once a week for preventative care for my lower back but will come in three times a week when I have a flare up. The office is very accommodating when I need to make last minute changes and Dr Park has an awesome bedside manner. There's also a masseuse (Frank) that comes in a few times a week too. Good Service from start to finish. Very easy place to get to as it is located right across from the subway at Columbus Circle. The staff make you feel welcomed and the Doctor's listen to everything you have to say before doing and extensive evaluation on your condition. Before I came to the office, I could barely stand up straight due to a bulging disc. After 3 sessions I was feeling good as new. Disappointed and frustrated after my first visit to this office. Despite finding them through my insurance's website, they did not accept my specific plan but recommended that I stay anyway b/c out-of-pocket cost was only $5 more than my co-pay (none of which was discussed over 2 prior phone calls). Bad choice: staying out of network meant that the X-rays they prescribed are also not covered, and they ain't cheap. Aside from insurance mumbojumbo, the exam itself was poor and not at all thorough. It consisted of 3 basic stretches, Google-able instruction about basic posture, NO ADJUSTMENT, and advice to get X-rays and have a return visit. I waited for about 40 min and spent all of 15 min with the doc. He did apply some electronic muscle stimulation and left the room, but it had very little effect on my sore lower back. I'm a chiropractic novice, but overall dissatisfied with spending time and money gaining nothing more than I can figure out with my own body, a little common sense, and 10 min surfing the Internet. Looking elsewhere already. read more

Here's the thing, I'm one of those people that believes if I ignores something it will go away. Don't judge me too harshly though, because that sort of belief has worked occasionally. However, in regards to my back pain, no amount of OTC medicine or shoddy massages have helped. I was very nervous about seeing a chiropractor in general, and I couldn't tell you why, but I was hopeful. Yesterday Dr. Watins adjusted my back and it sounded like someone was shuffling a deck of cards. The numbness, pressure and all over ache was gone for the first time in over 10 years. I highly recommend this practice. I have not been to a chiropractor in years and was apprehensive about it. Dr Nick and Dr Wakins are phenomenal. They really go the extra mile. My first visit was extremely thorough and Dr Nick explained everything to me in detail so I not only knew why I was having pain but how everything is connected. I am on a comprehensive therapy that will alleviate my pain, and then work on rehab and strength to help long term. Over 10 years ago I had a herniation in my neck I had suffered with for a year before finding Dr. Watins. I couldn't move my neck and was in too much pain to even work some days. Dr. Watins brought my neck back to full range of motion. I haven't had a problem since! Now, last August I suddenly developed a new issue but with my lower back and hips. I tried to self rehabilitate, but then it got worse the beginning of this year. I finally got my self back to see him, and he has worked wonders in such a short time. The pain difference and mobility went from a 8-10 to a 1-5 after just a couple weeks of therapy and continues to get better every week. They also give you stretches and exercises to do at home or gym! So, don't be discouraged....and take my advice....if you are hurting or can't move as well as you used to, DON'T hesitate...get in now! I look forward to hiking and playing tennis again soon! Dr. Watins and Dr. Nick are great. They listen! Having not been to a chiropractor in years, I was nervous but knew something was not right. Dr. Nick took a lot of time with me, and sent me downstairs for X-rays before treating me. I was able to get marked relief almost immediately. I have been a patient for about one year now. They are also very accommodating if you need to be seen quickly and they spend whatever time is necessary for you to achieve relief. It should also be known that they understand cause and effect of nutrition, exercise, allergies. I'm not extending the 5th star only because their office is quite small. read more
