If Ashly or Michelle had either patience of trust, their healing process may have been more positive. Perioral Dermatitis is one of the most difficult skin rashes to treat, and Dr. Berhoozan was not only encouraging, but also successful in eliminating this problem for me. If you research Perioral Dermatitis, all research says you have to be "patient!" By following Dr. Berhoozans rules I have better skin today then I did before the rash. Although Dr. Berhoozan has "graduated" me from his care, if I ever have any skin issues, he will be my go to! Highly recommended!

Dr. B is literally the best Derm in LA. I haven't been able to see him during the past few years…read morebecause of Covid, I lost my PPO insurance-- which is not his fault, obviously. He is the friendliest and most adorable man and a complete skin genius and wizard! Even though he does a lot of cosmetic high end dermatology and his office looks like a million bucks, he's one of the rare LA premium dermatologists that also does medical dermatology which is what I saw him for. Acne and Eczema. The latter of which can be hard to treat. I also messed myself up with a stupid at home micro-needle and he fixed me right up and didn't make me feel like a jerk! But what I am most thankful for is his care for my husband (at the time) who is very fair and works outside quite a bit. He caught three!! melanomas before they became serious. Two of which were on the face. We were worried that his face would have scars but you can't tell anything ever happened. That's how talented he is!! Before Dr B, my husband had a melanoma on his back and the dermatologist we had at the time dug it out like he was scooping freezing ice cream! There was a huge scar and indentation. So it matters a lot how skilled your Derm is at both the medical aspects and the cosmetic ones. To quote him, "I've never lost a patient to skin cancer!" Thank the heavens!! It was a relief that all we had to do was make sure my hub went every six months for his skin check with Dr B to remain melanoma free. Peace of mind, priceless! I also had a painful skin problem that was chronic and in a sensitive area that's the domain of the lady doctor. My GYN tried everything and he's also a fabulous doctor. But I was in so much pain and so frustrated because we couldn't figure out what it was and I just couldn't live with no diagnosis. Even though this area isn't the area of the dermatologist to take care of, I told Dr B about it and how desperate I was. He said if I was comfortable, he would look at it (along with a female nurse present) and I said please do. Well, he solved it! It was it eczema- the worst! And he solved it. Cured! I had been dealing with that for at least two years and finally he resolved it. No more pain, no more frustration! Not many doctors would be willing to do that, but he did, because he's a badass and a wonderful person! As soon as I get a PPO, I'm running back to him! I believe his office has some parking in the back too. There's a CVS down just down the road and lots of cafes walking distance just up the block if you need a good cup of coffee. Just be careful parallel parking around there because you don't want to dent a G Wagon or a Bentley lol. Hey, maybe you drive one! Smoke 'em if you got 'em!

Honestly, that's why I trusted him. I spent that year on topical finasteride and minoxidil, and dermastamping multiple times a week, slowly improving donor quality until he felt I could proceed--with realistic expectations. The procedure itself was incredibly smooth. Zero pain with conscious sedation, and he personally performed all extractions and site creation, which I think really matters. This isn't about achieving perfect density. It's about using limited grafts thoughtfully to create a natural frame for the face. From where I started, this result is beyond anything I expected, and we're already planning a second session to build density. Biggest takeaways: candidacy matters, expectations matter even more, and finding an honest surgeon who thinks like an artist is everything.

Having said that, if you must see a doctor, Dermatology Institute & Skin Care Center definitely is the kind of experience you want to have. They were attentive, professional and extremely personal, which is what I needed at that moment. Doctor Hekmatjah and Ms Leslie took such great care of me at a time when I needed care and guidance. I am not going to tell you that I will be making up reasons to go back, but if I do have a reason to go back, I will. I had a mole on my face that certainly was a source of angst for me and my family. I never had it and then from one day to the next, there it was... looking at me as if I'd owed it back taxes. I don't know if there's a learning disability going on.....I'm of course not a doctor. But Something was up. I had to give her 3 words at a time regarding my past health history and even then, she could barely do it and type it. I don't think she was a good fit for this type of job. THEN the front desk person named Asia was screwing up as well. I gave her the name and other info for my pharmacy and supposedly she typed it in from what I saw. I work during the day and I left messages on their prescription voicemail to put through my medication to my pharmacy AS WELL. They kept calling back through caller ID and seeing my phone number instead of checking their voicemail messages to see why the patient was calling. Just really unprofessional! It went back and forth like this and they never sent my prescription to the pharmacy during this period of time. This went on for 8 days. Really crazy making and so unprofessional. I called today to speak to the manager. I spoke to Asia, the front desk person first. She told me that the assistant to the dermatologist was supposed to give me a pamphlet that says that it goes through their Pharmacy that they're connected with. Well why didn't Asia tell me that in the first place when she was taking my Pharmacy information and why didn't the assistant give me the pamphlet? And when I gave Asia the front desk person the information of my Pharmacy why didn't she tell me the prescription goes to their pharmacy?????? Why are people so brain dead these days? I did make a complaint to the manager. So I got that out of the way. I'm never going back there. It's just too disorganized.

I believe Jamie especially has repeatedly shown BAD-FAITH,…read moreUNETHICAL, GREEDY, DECEPTIVE, MANIPULATIVE, MISLEADING and COERCIVE conduct and tactics that are primarily focused on keeping your money and not refunding you for what I consider a botched cosmetic result with even hard bumps under the skin that Dr. Ahdout had to manipulate which was painful. The focus should be on transparency as well as patient's health and well-being - not GREED. They also violate boundaries. Dr. Ahdout gave me her word that Jamie would not contact me further. Yet, Jamie contacted me despite my numerous written and verbal requests to cease contact. I believe I may be able to file a police report for harassment. Additionally, I believe Jamie even went as far as providing DECEPTIVE MISINFORMATION about matters that can affect health in further attempts to not refund me. I believe this is highly unethical and concerning conduct especially for a dermatologist office. I am posting this review after multiple attempts to resolve this matter. I left a message and sent emails the first time and I did not receive a call from Dr. Ahdout. The same thing happened a second time. I posted a review the first time and Jamie called right away so I removed it. When I went in to show Dr. Ahdout the result of her work - I felt gaslit because she was questioning me as to why she would do a job like this. She again asked on the phone yesterday as what I think happened - a question she herself should answer. She then said there are no before and after photos. I reminded her AGAIN that I have before photos on my phone that her own assistant took. Dr. Ahdout then asked if I would agree to a credit. I declined. She then said that they have a "policy" that once a patient asks for a refund they can't return to the office. I informed her that I would not want to work with a business that has punitive policies. I believe both her conduct and Jamie's conduct revolved mainly around keeping my money. When I first brought up the refund, Jamie immediately became aggressive on the phone and used what felt like patronizing repetition. She kept repeating my name aggressively as soon as I mentioned a refund, which felt like an attempt to cut me off and silence me. Jamie even went as far suggesting that the tightness was "normal". She even pointed to her face claiming she felt the same. I knew the tightness was not normal. When I asked Dr. Ahdout, she confirmed that it was not normal. I do not appreciate being gaslighted or having my concerns normalized as though this is something I should simply tolerate. This involves health and providing misinformation to patients can have great liability. Jamie also asked if I would want to do a correction. I declined. I noted in my review and also in an email to Dr. Ahdout's as well as during her call yesterday that I do not want to interact with Jamie at all. Dr. Ahdout GAVE ME HER WORD that she will call me back herself. Dr. Ahdout did NOT keep her word. Instead Jamie called and went back and forth attempting to claim that it wasn't 2 items I purchased and it was 1.5. She said Dr. Ahdout said there was "a confusion" and it was 1.5 items. I informed her that's false. Besides Dr. Ahdout's own prior confirmations - the invoice is more than clear. I explained, again, that Dr. Ahdout confirmed with me TWICE, once in front of her own assistant in person and again on the phone yesterday, that it was 2 items. Jamie went back and forth for at least 10 minutes arguing. I kept asking her to ask Dr. Ahdout. She refused 3 times and continued to argue. I kept mentioning what I paid for. She finally checked my invoice although she had ALREADY SEEN my invoice as she is the one who charged me AND even emailed it to me. She FINALLY agreed it was 2 items. I believe these practices are EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE and GREEDY. Then Jamie said their "corporate" is going to send me an email to sign "a form". I told her I'm not signing a release form as I need to see another doctor. Patients should not be forced to sign a release form to receive a refund. Jamie said their corporate "requires" this and that they will contact me. AGAIN, she displayed a pattern of violating boundaries and as soon as I would say their corporate did not have my consent to contact me - she would BLATANTLY REPEAT they will contact me. I informed her that at this point I have to do a full chargeback on the 2 items. I contacted my bank and did a full chargeback on the agreed upon amount. If they create ANY extra emotional distress and dispute the chargeback - I will immediately involve my counsel without further notice and use ALL legal remedies to not only obtain my money in full, but to also hold them fully liable for all damages including corrections needed and the emotional distress caused related to this matter and their conduct. I will also expand my online review to other platforms as I see fit.

(Aside from the fact that I absolutely love Dr. kormeili and I can write more after I finished my treatment) but I was telling her how good the glutathione shots have been for me and she requested I post something about it. I just took my third weekly shot. I started after a friend of mine who is a Singer told me about having her glutathione is good for vocal cords, and Hee bought a series of 10 and ended up resorbing assist he had in his knee. he was slated to remove surgically . I used to take glycine orally because it's great for chelation in particularly useful for people who are neurodivergent (which I am) then I read about what it does for skin at Dr. Kormeili's and decided to try the shots. Within 10 minutes of the first shot, I felt my whole nervous system relax and felt very grounded. It took away my sugar cravings, which I'm not claiming as one of the benefits. It's just what it did to me and on day six I usually feel that I'm ready for my next shot. It would be too lengthy for me to get into all the reasons, but I would encourage you to do a deep dive into the benefits of glutathione and I don't know if they are all created equal but what I get from Dr. kormeili makes an almost immediate and noticeable difference in my life. And I feel when I need more. And plus I get to see Dr. kormeili weekly which always makes my day The other thing I will say about the office is that everybody that I have seen there does not look like they've had anything done. And I really appreciate her discouraging me from services. She feels I do not need in case I haven't been clear: I absolutely love Dr. Kormeili. Also forgot to mention what she did with one syringe of filler was nothing short of miraculous in terms of restoring my face to where I recognize myself and felt like myself again and what I can tell you is it's not what I think I needed. You could not be in better hands. I'm sure there are some incredibly talented people out there that may be as good but I can guarantee you're not gonna find someone better.

I was in shock. My full, ample, voluptuous lips are one of those features I always treasured and cherished receiving admiration for. I was so surprised to hear someone could actually find them to be small, my mind did briefly go to "OMG, DO I need filler?" and I started asking her all about filler. Of course, then I remembered they're a business and that's exactly what they wanted--or else they would NEVER make a comment that's so far from the gorgeous reality that is me. She then made it worse by talking about how she doesn't care about money and never pushes fillers on people--which of course made me wonder, is she saying it because it's *true* then?? After several therapy sessions, I am happy to say I am back to the level of confidence I had before this comment was made--so now that I'm stronger, I'm speaking up for myself. It was so startling and frightening to go in for what I thought would be a normal, caring, professional treatment and instead receive criticism of my body, completely out of the blue, not asked for, and non-consensual. It felt like a real violation of patient boundaries. I was here to receive a service, not an evaluation of my looks. This is a recent photo of me, BTW--taken months before I received their services at all. I am absolutely gorgeous just the way I am. As I am a model and adult star, I sometimes undergo non-invasive treatments to look even better, but that does not entitle anyone to invade my personal space and make unwanted comments about my body. If *I* somehow have "smaller lips," how many women have any hope of having normal lips?!? Businesses like this need to understand that, yes, in a way, they are profiting off people's insecurities--but if they *encourage* those very insecurities, it will backfire and they will lose business. People come here to gain confidence, not lose it. And customers, please know: No matter how much self-hatred businesses try to instill in you, love is so much greater than hate and as long as you have self-love, that will prevail. You can always choose self-love. They can never really hurt you.

Dr. Joseph was an amazing doctor and researcher for decades with vast knowledge and expertise including being amazing with things like Sculptra and all the injectable rejuvenation products, Obviously Dr. Ava must be great if he recommended her however my experience in trying to see Dr. Shamban was a huge disappointment. The receptionist informed me that Dr. Ava charges a $500 consultation fee before she will even see you. This I believe is the height of arrogance and believing your own press. After years of having been a patient of some of the best in the business, this was the first time I ever heard of this kind of outrageous fee not to mention when I asked about pricing Dr. Shamban for is way above fair pricing coming in at $1550 for one vial of Sculptra. Ok people will say if you are going to the best then of course you are going to pay a premium however many people who are doing well in CA, Los Angeles ,and want to go to good Doctors are not millionaires with vast sums of disposable income, so premium is on thing , making your practice only for 1 percenters is another. I recommend Dr. Rebecca Fitzgerald in Larchmont Village , she has a much bigger reputation throughout the industry as one of the best and she still hasn't decided that she is soooo great that she will gouge you for $500 to feed her ego and her bank account. That said I was really looking forward to going to Dr. Shamban because I live on the westside and getting over to Larchmont isn't always convenient, however after the first bad impression from Dr. Ava Shamban's office the extra drive will be well worth it
