Have had mixed feelings about this park. Previously dealt with an office conflict between two office girls, where we definitely became the "get back at you" tool. So we took 3 years off and went to another park on our way to AZ. This year we returned, just to give it a second chance. Went much better. But still feel like they have room for some customer service improvement. We arrived at 12:15... they close for 1hr for lunch at noon , and the door is not opened until 1:00. That was unexpected, but fine. Then they arrive and not over welcoming... no "welcome", "sorry for the wait", just an "how can I help you?" No longer do the offer orange picking sticks , and clearly state all rules in big bold letters. Just wish it was more like early visits we enjoyed at this park. Simply more welcoming . The groves are wonderful, the landscaping and plants are over the top beautiful. Sadly the vibe is not "welcome to our park" read more

Highly recommend this lovely location! Our first time onsite (Apr. '26) but will not be our last. We were in Bakersfield one night, but wanted to stay on the outskirts of town, and it's location gave us what we were looking for. Our site (65ft) was clean, spacious, well equipped, and provided us a great view of the orange grove nearby. Noise from hwy58 and occasional train was not an issue for us. The restroom-shower facilities were exceptionally clean and well kept! I had to compliment the caretaker gentleman directly for this. Our pet also enjoyed the pet area. Walking, biking path provided us great way to include a little exercise. This will definitely be our location stay for future visits with our son. read more

Stayed here several times. Ample space between sites. It seemed like the northwest section of the park was for long-term renters. Power at campsites was stable. Campground was clean we felt comfortable. It should be noted that there was considerable highway and train noise all night long. Accelerating vehicles and train horns. Having stayed at many RV campgrounds it is not totally unusual to have this noise but it was pretty constant here. If passing through the area again I would return to this campground. read more

I'll give it 5 stars for the orange blossom aroma and access to picking oranges from their grove..the best oranges I've ever tasted!! We just stayed one night on our way home to Bay Area. Besides the road and train noise (not a problem later in the evening) I found it clean and staff friendly. read more

Great RV Park - not crowded when we stayed for one night recently on our way to Las Vegas. No interactions really with any staff as we arrived in the late afternoon and our reservation was posted outside. Rv camping in a real orange grove and you can pick any oranges that are 'ready'. Decent pricing. Local pizza parlor delivered our dinner. The only down side were the constant diesel trucks driving by all night and the train that came by every hour or more, tooting it's horn...well I guess that is what ear plugs are for. We didn't use any amenities as we were only there for an overnight stay. The pool area did look pretty nice though. We will stay here again if we ever decide to drive to Vegas again, not very likely though..This was our first retirement RV trip and Area 51 was our destination....yeah... read more

Pull through, spacious for large RVs, full hook ups. On site laundry and bathroom/showers. Dog friendly, lots of room to walk the dogs, along with gated areas for the dogs. Free oranges to pick during season. Places to eat in the area is a small town of Lamont, great Mexican restaurants, El Pueblo. Directly behind the RV park is a fruit stand, California Fruit Depo. It has tons of locally dried fruit, assorted nuts, fresh fruits in season. They serve up smoothies, fresh OJ and milk shakes. read more

I'm undecided how to review this. The park itself is great, clean and really lovely. However, the noise from trains and the freeways was miserable and we left a day early. No fire pits, so I'm guessing no fires. We didn't really know the guidance on it. You're able to pick the oranges which was super cool, but again loud. read more

Not only are they well organized, the place is extremely clean, and the facilities are impeccable. There are citrus trees, all around, and during the season you can pick all you want! While we didn't use the pool or some of the other amenities, we found the place to be a beautiful break from our travels. read more

This is our first RV park stay, but we'd recommend it. An RV park in an established orange grove is pretty novel. If you stay when oranges are ripe in the trees, you can pick a bag. The oranges are super sweet and they have picker poles available. The sites are not very big, but with full hookups there is no generator noise. The bathrooms are very clean as are the showers and do not cost extra. There are coin operated washers and dryers available. The location is near the highway and a somewhat busy road. So if you are noise sensitive, you might want to bring ear plugs. read more

We love the Orange grove! The place is well maintained and friendly. We can just stop for a night or stay longer. It's especially nice during orange season when we are allowed to pick fresh oranges off the trees in the park! Orange Grove RV Park on highway 58 just east of Bakersfield Ca. Is one of a kind place to stay large flat lots amongst the orange trees, multiple super clean bathrooms, as well as huge shower stalls also super clean. I commented to my wife how amazed I was when I viewed the laundry room not one washer or dryer was out of order and newer clean machines. Bring the kids and let them swim in the pool. Wow! I'm really impressed with this RV park! It's in an actual orange grove. The sites are huge and level, all are pull through. There's lot of space to walk the dog and a laundry room and bathrooms. I've attached a picture of our site. We're here in October so the oranges are just starting to turn yellow- not ripe yet unfortunately. You will love this place! read more

really liked this RV park. Level spots and they are very long. Also, when the oranges are ripe, you can pick as many as you want and they supply the pick tools for you. You can definitely hear a bit of road noise from the street next to them and we heard that if you are in the back, you can hear the freeway a bit. But, otherwise, it's quiet. Staff is very friendly. They have a nice lodge area that you can use with a pool table upstairs. read more

This park is great. Clean and secure. Easy check-in. Showers are wonderful! It it a great stopover location.

We don't have much to compare this to as it's only our third RV park we have stayed at but our experience here was great. We stayed for two nights between San Jose and Indio. We had site 34, it was on the end so we had lots of room on one side for our kids to play. Hook ups worked as expected and we had a picnic table. Sites are large and easy to pull thru. At our site there were two trees we were able to hang our hammock between. By early March, the oranges were picked pretty clean, but guests are free to pick them if they are available. We did not use the laundry facilities so we cannot comment on those. There is a little bit of highway noise and train noise but it's really not too bad. A great stopping point for a night or two. read more

The last review I left was with 5 full stars. There's no doubt this is a nice RV park. It's easy on and easy off the freeway. Check-in is easy .. that is, after you've already checked in and paid online. Actually, there was even more to it online as you went through their process. They even have you select a site on a map. If you want the site, you select it. Wow. How nice is that? Except when you continue on and want another $20 to just hold that site. So, that would be a total of $70 but they don't tell you that until the end. I thought at the time .... we will see. Naturally, we did not get the site because we didn't pay the extra $20. So, the site didn't really matter but I didn't like that. We moved into the site the park chose for us and got set up. So far, everything was perfect. The laundry was nice and so was the dog park. However, and this is a big HOWEVER, the wifi is terrible. Actually, it's not even that. We could connect but there was no internet. None. Zip. Nadda. I tried several times and no wifi. That's a huge thing when we are on the road. Thus, the park was not worth the $50 without the wifi. read more

Beautiful RV park nicely kept. It's tucked in between the Orange Grove very spacious I imagine when the oranges are ripe it has a nice smell, I've heard their delicious just not in season until December and you can pick them as many as you want. In the distance you hear a train passing through very quiet park haven't slept this good on a long time. read more

This is a really nice place. Some old friends were here for a few days with their RV so we came by to visit and catch up. We didn't actually stay here ourselves so I can't comment on how the place is at night, but everything I saw during the day, I was so impressed with how clean and well cared for the grounds are I had to leave a review to compliment the guys and gals on their good work. I also like how a lot of the old remnants of the farm this place once was are still here and not everything was completely mowed down to put the RV park in. read more

This park has nice and very clean restrooms. The big thing that is a downfall for me is all the roaches at night. We have stayed here two times and both times we aren't able to hang out outside at night because of all the roaches... yuck. Everything else is good though. Love everything about this RV park except for the recent change in checking in, hence my rating of 3. I loved the efficient check in process but a change was recently made that now requires you to go inside and speak with an employee before going to the site. No need to do that as everything was completed on line and quite frankly a waste of time. Please bring back the old check in process! read more

This could be a decent RV Park: but, the water is toxic (they give you a printed sheet upon check in and if you research the contaminants, this is water you should not use! Period! They have had a water issue since 2004. While we were there, their water main also broke and there is not even toxic water. Go some where else! read more

After a long day on the road (10 hours) this was the perfect stop for our overnight before finishing our trip home to the SF Bay Area. The campground is filled with the sweet aromas of flowering fruit trees! The bathrooms and showers were clean and nice. The campground is easy to get to right off highway 58. Our first, not our last stop here ; we love this park! Our friends in Arizona who also Snowbird recommended it to us. Super nice staff, even the gardener who spotted my hubs for one of the easiest pull ins we have ever with our big rig. Our site was immaculate. Luscious juicy oranges, they even provide the poles to pick them from higher in the trees. My husband thought we weren't allowed to pick them, he was assured we were. Internet is good to check your mail, that's about it. It doesn't annoy us, we don't expect 5 G Broadband in any RV Resort or Park. We didn't use the pool, it did look sparkling clean. We enjoyed the antique implements we saw. read more

We stayed here twice on a recent road trip. Reservations were easy, and though we arrived after the office was closed, it was easy to find our assigned stop. Power, water, sewer all were easy connections. Wifi needed some persistence to connect (follow the directions to accept terms and conditions), but was fast. This is a clean RV park. It worked for a quick one night stop. I felt safe there, it was strictly people traveling. There was no permanent residences. I felt it was a little pricey, it wasn't necessary to pay extra to save a spot. We stayed on a Friday night in August and it wasn't very busy. read more

We had a problem at Bakersfield RV Resort as their pool was closed and they never informed the campers. (They played the pandemic Card). So I called Orange Grove and their pool was open and the gal in the office was delightful and helpful and got us in for 1 night. It's a little further out, but worth it. read more
