The layout is really nice, but the rules are kind of ridiculous, can't bring your own snacks in?…read moreThe lines for food get so ridiculously long there's no time to get anything to eat, and if you have kids with you that are hungry, they are hungry immediately. The seating was kind of crap, they are plastic fold out chairs that are literally ziptied together. Not plus size, (or any size really) friendly. Why the hell would you want to sit that close to anybody? There are far better amphitheatres, but if you want to see a certain band, you put up with a crappy venue!

We came here on a Thursday night (8/29) for Blue October, Matt Nathanson, & Switchfoot concert…read more Concert started at 6:30pm. Since neither my friend nor I have been here, we decided to come early. There was no traffic and parking was of ease. Even exiting the venue was with ease. I have read some of the other reviews, and possibly this was a much small crowd, but I thought this place was great. It's not too small and not too big. Best yet, free parking!!! It's nested in a cute little town that you should definitely stay overnight and explore. The food selection could be better (stay away from the teriyaki bowl) but, the place was perfect. I feel like you could have sat anywhere and you still get a great view of the stage. The sound system was great. We had a really good time.

Whenever we're in Sonora, eating at The Armory is a definite must! This place is huge. There is a…read morebar area to the left when you come through the entrance. The bar is impressive and a great way to be greeted. There is seating available if you want to grab a bite to eat while you indulge in a handcrafted cocktail. The entrance leads to an amazing outdoor area with a courtyard, lots of seating and more bar areas. There is an upstairs area that has views of Sonora, but also overlooks the outdoor area which is great for people watching. The Armory is family and dog friendly and it was great to see families and their fur babies enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. The menu has great appetizers to share, salads and bowls, tacos, sandwiches, and satisfying pastas + a delicious short rib plate. The drink menu is extensive - they have an impressive variety of barrel-aged bourbons, Irish whiskeys, scotch, rye, tequila, and mezcal and quite the selection of beers on tap, in bottles, and in cans. The wine list will have something for everyone. And the cocktails all looked amazing! We had the smoked pork nachos, ahi poke bowl, and the Rodeo Burger. Everything was tasty and came out quickly. The Armory is a must try!

Stopped in mainly because of the upper deck view but was left pleasantly surprised…read more I wasn't planning to drink but throw a cocktail menu in front of me with fancy words like vodka and tequila and I am sold! The mojito was on the lighter side but still very refreshing with nice flavor. I would definitely get this again. The Chicken Fajita Bowl was soooo good. Chicken was perfectly prepared. Juicy and bite sized pieces made it easy to consume. Definitely wished there was more chicken in this dish but price was awesome so I guess it worked out. Kids size chicken tender was pretty significant. This is enough for two kids to share. The waffle cut fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The guys in the kitchen know magic or something. Overall a great experience. Veey friendly staff that mostly left you alone to enjoy but still checked in occasionally.

They added to the outside seating area it's like a garage with overhead doors with picnic style seating and dining seats, ceiling fans and big screen TV. You can also sit inside the restaurant to dine. We sat outside in the garage area we sat at a picnic table shared by a really nice couple. I had a bbq pork sandwich with French fries my mom had portobello sandwiches with fries and we shared a side of Brussel sprouts, the entire meal was delicious. The pork was so tender the sauce was amazing, the roll was perfect it was soft but not so soft where it fell apart. The fries were perfectly cooked. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, dried cranberries and pecans. The atmosphere was great, servers were very nice. Parking we parked right there near the restaurant. We will be going back again soon.
