Since moving to Yuma last year my wife and I have been trying different places to eat to find our favorites, this will be included. I never expected such a good place in an RV park resort. The staff were extremely friendly, the manager named Alfonso came over to greet us because he heard it was our first time there. He gave us a $7.00 coupon for our next visit for filling out a survey. The breakfast we had was great, perfectly cooked omelette very flavorful potatoes and best of all $4.50 bloody marys. Went for fish Friday because friends said it was good. When the meal arrived to the table it was barely lukewarm and looking like it had been sitting a while. Fish out of a fryer freshly cooked should be hot to touch and eat and this was certainly the opposite. The fish looked meaty and crispy on the outside but to touch and eat it was dense and cold and the exterior was soft and mushy like. There was no steam or heat coming from the fish/plate. It was almost as if it were fried hours prior and then placed on a tray in a warmer. Not the kind of fish fry I'd expect for $15. The fries underneath the fish we're also cold and chewy (like cold ones you'd expect from fast food chains) and coleslaw was soggy like it had been made several hours ahead or day before with a few spoiled pieces of cabbage. Even the tartar sauce had an unusual look/taste and appearance that it had been pre-cupped and sitting out for a long period of time. We arrived for an early seating and was already busy and filling up more. By the time the waitresses checked back in with us, it was much too late to say anything. After getting home shortly thereafter, i experienced sudden abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Unfortunately, it was not a favorable experience. My biggest concern and caution to others is food safety and food borne illness because it is obvious proper food temperatures are not being met. read more

Just keep going! You enter though and rv resort, follow the signs to Westwind! We were pleasantly surprised with how wonderful this restaurant is. Great prices, wonderful staff, awesome food!!! The wings and special did not disappoint! We will be back for sure. read more

I wish they would advertise that they don't want younger customers. We came here after seeing the ads on Facebook and immediately felt uncomfortable and unwelcome (we are in our 30s). Just stick to 50+ and don't make it seem like you're catering to anyone younger. read more

We wanted to try this highly rated grill. On the positive side, it seems a great place for the RV park residents to hang out and good food to eat. The rolled tacos and chorizo burger were very good. The grill is the clubhouse activity center building for the park. The outside seating seems nicer than the dated diner/school cafeteria inside seating. The staff were kind. The reason for the lower rating is largely based on the very slow wait time. After we arrived and sat, there was a wait getting service and then our food. We literally sat for hour waiting for food. The food nor environment were worth that wait unless you live there and have time to kill. I was told that wait was normal and even worse on weekend and this is after being seated. We love going and staying at Westwind's. There is always something to do and a very very safe place to stay. Their facilities are very nice and clean. Staff is sheets friendly and helpful. We try to go once a year. read more

If the service weren't so outstanding they would get one star. We went for breakfast and the food was very mediocre. The bacon was not crispy, as ordered and the scrambled eggs were definitely powder. Also can't recommend the toast as it was really just warm bread. read more

Hidden gem great food. Prime rib is delicious and prices are reasonable. It's in a mobile park and has a 9 hole golf course.

I had a very uncomfortable experience with my family here. The meal was okay, but when we got the bill, each price was wrong. They charged us more than the listed menu price. When we brought it up very politely and quietly to the waitress, the bar manager came over to the table and made a loud scene about our concerns. The happy hour beer was supposed to be $2 but they charged us more. We ordered a *side* specifically of onion rings. They charged us for a basket and the manager shamed us loudly in front of the restaurant about it, even though they accidentally gave us a basket instead of a side -- which, again, is what we ordered. And they charged us more for a burger because we got onions on it, even though it wasn't itemized on the receipt and we weren't told that it would be an up charge. Restaurants should do the right thing and fix mistakes when they are brought up. NOT shame customers loudly. So embarrassing. The waitress was very nice and seemed to be new there. We don't have a problem with that. We have a problem with who we think is the bar manager for not fixing all of the items, shaming us, and making a scene. read more

The service was great and the food was simply fresh and delicious! Best place we have eaten in so far in Yuma!! The ambiance cool with light yellow walls which complimented the dark wood grain floors. It was very comfortable and clean and felt right at home. My wife and I waited for 95 minutes after ordering. No food. We ordered drinks when we first arrived which took a very long time to arrive. After 95 minutes, still no food. We paid for our drinks and left. No apologies from our server or from management. We will not return, and we will certainly advise others to stay clear of this very poor restaurant. My wife and I love this restaurant. The staff is so friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are fare. It's a great atmosphere with nice views of the golf course whether you are sitting inside or out. Also a fun place to watch a game. read more

Staff is friendly yet duties are split from order taking to delivery of meal to follow up with diners. So long and short I would not recommend this site to others. read more

Called ahead, made reservation.Was staying in the park...told us 35 minutes. Walked over got there at 7:10. Let them know we were there, sat right near the stand where they call your name, checked back in 10 mins said they would text us, saw them seat at least 6 other parties my husband and a party of six who were late my husband went to check when nobody was there and we were next. Went back up 5 mins later when a hostess was there and was told they called us, they never did and our name was removed from the list then . NEVER GOING BACK THERE. read more
