First time customer with Westwind Dental. The suggested x-rays ok. The Dental Technician took at least 3 turns on either side. Then had to retake after another tech came in to evaluate. Was told to come in early as they had an opening. Spent another 30 minutes waiting on the chair. Never had my teeth cleaned just wanted out of there. Scheduled my son to be a first time patient. It is an urgent matter.. Booked an appointment for about a week out. Got several calls and messages to confirm the appointment, which I did. The day before appointment @ 6:44pm they sent a text asking to change the time. Called the office day of appointment to confirm my 3:30 to find they changed the time on us to 2pm. What a joke! A friend of mine recently had surgery on one of her teeth and it started hurting, and she felt like it might be getting infected. She tried to go by there on Friday, but they were already closed so she called and an answering service picked up and told her there's nothing that can be done until Monday even though it's a possibility that she has an infection in it and she's elderly. I called to see if there was anyone available for her and talked with a very nice gentleman. He said the same thing but gave me an option that might help but not till tomorrow so I applaud this men's effort I made a note to myself, surgery on your mouth, don't go to this place there's no one to help you on off hours. read more

I went to have two extractions and even after I had told the dentist Dhillon Inderras that I have gaggi issues he said he'lol try to work around it and I kept gagging and felt like I pull breathe and felt like i was gonna throw up he continued and only was able to extract one out and even cut my gums and then stopped and walked away. the assistant then told me he was gonna refer me to a specialist. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE NEAR YOUR TEETH!!! They cheat, they lie, and don't give a s*** about their patients. They only care about the most money they can milk out of the insurance company. They crowned a lot of my upper teeth, and one got infected less than two months later. So they performed a root canal through the crown. The root canal tooth rotted and broke off 10 months later. (It's important to tell you it was a front upper tooth) That left me with a black decayed half tooth with a root canal post protruding out. West Wind claimed to guarantee their crowns. NOT IN THIS CASE! Their only solution was for ME to pay $750 for a flipper, that's a temporary little denture with one tooth on it. They ruined my natural tooth, and would not accept responsibility. They solicit customers by phone, and they try to get patients to pay for unscheduled cleanings and other charges while there. The staff is miserable, they couldn't say a lot, just small unhappy remarks about not liking the corporate environment. After going there for a year and seeing the constant employee turnover, it was obvious, they suck! They are just slimy and crooked and use underhanded tactics to get patients in. If you ever listen to a review, please take this one to heart!! I have since found a good dentist that accepts my insurance. I now have the temporary little flipper, that insurance paid for. According to West Wind, my insurance would not pay for it. The only way I will ever have a tooth back in that spot is an implant. Ive been very patient waiting for my refund for 3 month. I went in yesterday asking about it. Sounds like things are finally moving along after 3 months of calling and going in person. The office manager Lisa called me today but maybe she should have stopped talking to Amanda about how tired they are having to deal with me. Cause I heard her complaining about me when I answered the call. I've read reviews about them talking about other clients too so I'm not surprised. Imagine how I feel having to spend my days off of my full time job asking them to do their job right. I don't get paid for the time I've wasted trying to get my refund from them, getting the insurance involved. They are so unprofessional. I'm being generous with the two stars. I feel like this business is a little sketchy. My experience is as follows, I made an appointment with this dental place because I had another dentist tell me I had 3 cavities, and like always its nice to have a second opinion. I got in and filled out some paperwork, and got in surprisingly fast. I did all the beginner requirements such as x-ray's, and other stuff. Then they told me I did have 3 cavities and the other dentist were correct. I got some paperwork about how much it'll cost to fill them, and paid for the initial exam. Then a few days later when I had the fillings scheduled, they called me and told me they had to cancel the appointment and they actually diagnosed a cavity wrong, it was a root canal. How the hell do you diagnose something incorrectly? I AM SO HAPPPY I DIDNT LISTEN TO THEM AND WENT WITH PARADISE VALLEY FAMILY DENTAL INSTEAD, AND DIDNT LET THEM TOUCH MY TEETH. A major red flag was telling me the original diagnoses of one of the cavities were wrong, I am also glad they canceled on me because it seems someone "higher up" was keeping tabs on me and knew that place was sketchy AF. The person I saw was Mahdiya Ahmed Due to the cost I could not afforded to do it at the time, but she would have pulled them that day. March, 2024 I scheduled an appointment to have the pulled, same office but different dentist Lloyd Juriansz. When I arrived they charged my card and took to back. Since it was a different doctor he wanted x-rays. ok, did that. When he came in he said he wanted me to not pull but fix them. ( these teeth are broken to the gum in the back,( half of tooth gone!) expose nerve causing pain.I told him, I do not have thousands of dollars to fix, I just want them pulled. He got super rude and said they need to be fixed. If you want them pulled you need to go to a surgeon to have them taken out. I don't understand how one dentist at the office would pull them, the other was rude and would not even touch them! It is hard enough to come to the concludsion that I cant afford to fix them, but to have this man be super rude was too much! I will not go back! He also works at the chandler location. All procedures were unnecessarily painful. Was told I had FOURTEEN cavities had half fixed by Westwind and had two dentists take a look and was told my teeth need no work and are fine. He permanently ruined my mouth with ALL the fillings and two of my teeth were drilled too close to my nerve so I also have nerve damage. I will never return to this dentist again. This was the worst dental experience I've ever had. First of all, the assistant didn't wipe down everything after taking my X-rays. I was left in the room for an hour before the dentist even came in. I was moved rooms so another patient could be seen in my room. The front desk were complaining about their jobs and singing instead of helping customers. Even worse I was told they'd email or call me with my treatment plan and I still haven't heard from them. Out of sight out of mind. Andre Zargar cost me over $10,000 to correct this nightmare. I was in so much pain after my root canals and Zargars plan for care was to shave them down more and hope they would settle and the pain would subside. As a single mom of two this entire situation set me back beyond. I have a heart condition SVT, the infection from the file tip left in my canal caused my heart episodes to sky rocket to the point I had to get a loop recorder implanted in my chest. Only to find out the infection was causing episode's to happen more often and if I would have known about the infection sooner I wouldn't even need to have the loop recorder implanted. All in all it cost me thousands of dollars to have this corrected and I ended up losing the tooth completely and can not afford an implant. I have since had my loop recorder removed and my heart episodes back to "normal" with the infection gone. The board sided with zargar and gave him a non disciplinary class so that I would not be able to be reimbursed based on it being non disciplinary. Please don't get dental work done here! read more
