I haven't been able to get important things when I needed them. The numbers they give you to call don't work - no one responds and don't even bother with email. Temperature control - we are on the third floor and for years I have been asking them about the temperature control. The first floor, the floor they probably tour, has excellent air-conditioning to an extent. Third floor has so much humidity and heat I had paintings that rolled up. The thermometer on the third and first floor were not working today so I pulled the second floor one off the wall and brought it upstairs and the temperature instantly went up. First floor is as cool a cucumber. Second floor decent. Understanding that heat rises, we are paying for a "temperature controlled" unit, which is very false. Since it's Stamford and you have the option to put your valuables in any of the thousands of storage Units - go elsewhere! By the way - they NEVER respond unless it's a good review.

I moved across the country and needed a spot for a bunch of items and could not be more pleased with the professionalism , cost and cleanliness of the space. 6 stars. ASK FOR LEROI and you'll be treated right!! p.s. The facility also has multiple loading carts on hand that make loading in and out very easy. DO NOT REMOVE THEM FROM THE PREMISES! These are extremely helpful and needed and aren't cheap!

I was told 5 minutes later in email after I reserved the unit that there wasn't any 10x7x8 units available but would be given a 5x15x8 unit at the same price. Miraculously my things fit into a 5 x whatever space, so I agreed with some suspicion. They are still advertising 10x7x8 units after switching me to a 5x15x8 a week later. So the first round of paperwork comes in and the numbers all add up, so I signed. Then, a week later - for no reason - I receive an email stating my unit number changed, asking for me to resign the paperwork. This paperwork had the unit at $15/mo a month more than the previous paperwork I had already signed. Good thing I read paperwork, they almost got away with some classic bait-and-switch. At the end of the day, these are your personal goods, your family heirlooms, things you care about. Take this cautionary tale seriously before you entrust this group with it.
