My pretzel was a bit stale and kind of burnt in the back. I ordered the jalapeno pepperoni pretzel with pizza sauce. I totally should have asked for another one but I had already left when I took the first bite. I don't know if it matters, but this is a Wetzel's Pretzels inside of a gas station. Maybe the quality is better when it's a stand-alone store. I've never had issues with WP until now. read more

When I received them, they were cold and I complained, and she said they all came out at the same time. They shouldn't be cold. But they were. They must have been old. Waste of money. I went to this place during my trip with my class. One they had terrible customer service, if you asked for an item and you clearly can see they had it the worker at the time would say they don't. When you can see it. I got food poisoning from this place I've been sick ever since I ate the pretzels. The worker also acted like we were an ant to walk on. The pretzel was hard as a rock and tasted disgusting. It was beyond any experience I've ever had. I will never recommend this awful place to anyone. read more

This location sucks. Never open. Hours are incorrect online. But even then they close before their "correct" closing time. Employees lack customer service skills. If you're going to have a gas station location, take notes from other food establishments and consider the fact that travelers don't stop commuting at 8 pm, when your employees decide they want to clean up and go home. Very poor customer service from someone who appeared to be a supervisor. "What do you want?" I must've really inconvenienced with my patronage. Then have my Wetzel Bits hastily tossed on the counter. It wasn't like the place was overwhelmingly busy. Second the my Wetzel's bag look half full/empty depending on your perspective. And they weren't very good. I'll go back to Flying J's across the way. We had a horrible experience at this Wetzel's Pretzel's. There was hot food ready however the "manager" Nancy stated the location was closed to restock food and they were not ringing anybody up or selling food. When I asked how long they would be closed she said at least 30 minutes. I asked if she could sell me food that was already ready and she said no. I then asked if she was going to just let the hot and ready food just sit there for 30 minutes or more. She didn't not answer and just stared at me. I again asked if I could buy the food that was ready. I wasn't asking for food that was unprepared but the food that was ready and sitting ready to purchase. She again said no we're closed. Nancy was rude during our entire interaction and was unapologetic. I am so disappointed in the service I received. The other employees Akita and Joey were also rude and initially ignored me completely and were then flippant with their responses. The service industry has seriously gone downhill! read more

They were very busy and out of quite of a few pretzel options, but I was happy because I was looking for the pretzel bites which they had. I ordered two orders with jalapeño cheese. I usually have a good experience at this location, but after my visit this morning, I cannot believe the terrible service. Came to the AZ travel center around 8:50 AM. Put gas in the car and used the restroom. Wetzel's opens at 9:00 AM, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to wait 10 minutes for them to open. There was a mom with 2 kids there, also waiting for them to open. Together, we all stood there waiting for them to open. There were 3 Wentzel's employees behind the counter. Sweeping the floor, loading the display case up with pretzels, etc. Then, they all stood behind the counter socializing. I watched as one employee with long fake nails and a nose ring started picking something out of another employees hair - it was so weird, it looked like a National Geographic film on monkeys grooming each other! Then they stood around looking at TikTok videos, all while everyone is waiting for them to open! Now it is well after 9 AM, and everyone in line is getting disgusted with this! Their closed sign still says closed, so everyone is assuming they are still closed, because they haven't flipped the sign to open. Everyone at this location is driving a long way, so we don't have time to be standing around watching these employees socialize and groom each other! By this time, we could have been well past Blythe and on our way to desert center on the drive back to the LA area! Finally, another mom with multiple kids came up to the counter and saw the line. She asked everyone if we were in line and we all said, "We are waiting for them to open!" Only then, did the employees realize everyone was absolutely disgusted with this behavior! They then claimed that they were open, yet they never acknowledged the line of customers that were obviously waiting for them to open! They never even switched the closed sign to open! OMG! Stopped by to wetzel pretzels here at this gas station. Ordered 10 pretzels but before i opened the pretzels we ordered fatburger so i made my kids eat the food first before even touching the pretzels. 30 mins passed while we ate i let my kids grab one of the pretzels they did not like the hot dog bites so i had ordered 5 and wanted to exchange one that had not been touched so i walk up to the front and the girls did not know if i could exchange the pretzel. I was willing to pay the difference. They then called a girl named ALEX up which was the manager i guess. She said no we will not return or exchange them. She was so nasty to me and so disrespectful and walked away. I asked for her name she refused to give it to me and so did the other 2 workers in front. It seemed like they were scared to tell me her name and one whispered to me that her name was alex. She was wearing red shirt and had blonde hair. It is very disappointing how she treats customers. Before i left i went to the front if the gas station asking if there was someone above her that i could talk to about how disrespectful she was and they said she is like that to many customers that it happens often. Very disappointed with their service, both girls behind the counter have no customer service experience and definitely have very bad attitudes. I had to repeat my self multiple times and was still short a pretzel, when I said I needed an additional pretzel they both got very upset. read more

We are traveling back to AZ and wanted to stop for pretzels. We got to the place and waited 30 minutes. We got to the front and was assisted by a young man. We asked if they had cinnamon bites and he said " no" ( not even a time estimated to when they would) and no eye contact then we just ordered pizza bites with two cheese. Once we got are order and checked the bag and only had one of the cheese, we went next to the counter and asked the lady that was making the pretzel and told her we didn't get are cheese that we purchased ( at first she ignored us and had AirPods and gave us dirty looks and then told us to get back in line. We asked why do u we need to get back in line and she just continued to ignore us. ( has she was making the pretzel she was dropping them on the floor and continuing to pick them back up.
