I tried to order 1 French fry and i am still waiting in the drive thru. I am so sad this is taking forever. Sad.

ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE SERVICE. waited in the drive through line for an hour. when I got my food it was cold and chewy. messed up our order. gave us no ketchup when we asked and gave me no straw for my drink. they need new workers. we ended up throwing our food away. such a waste of time and money. horrible workers and horrible service read more

Got off a shift tonight and pulled into the drive through here at 3:50 am... it's now 5 am and we finally got our food. The man who took our order joked for about 10 minutes then we waited another 15 to get to the window. at that time we got our drinks and pulled forward to wait for our order. Well three cars left with their food and finally 25 minutes later we got our food. Employees hanging outside talking to people and not doing their job. I understand people need breaks, but only one guy was actually doing work while the others just messed around. Sad because I actually like Whataburger. I'll just goto another location save yourself an hour. read more

First of all - the amount of time you have to wait for your food at this Whataburger is unbelievable. I love Whataburger and I just moved to this neighborhood. i just went to the drive-thru and got a regular burger and some onion rings. I took a couple of bites of my burger and then I was like.....um, there is no meat on this burger. There were so many little chopped onions that I couldn't even finish it. I also noticed the bun was stale and it pretty much seemed like the burger was put together earlier in the day (or days ago) and they just forgot to put the meat on it. For my onion ring order (which costs extra, by the way) they gave me two and one-half onion rings. I waited in that drive-thru for probably 20 minutes. The girl at the drive-thru window never said a word to me. She just took my money, gave me my change....and that was it. They have a 2 lane system at this location, which is beyond stupid because if the person behind you gets their food first...where are you supposed to go?! I love Whataburger but today I got a burger with no meat on it, a stale bun FULL of little gross onions, and my order of onion rings was 2 and a half onion rings. Because of the long wait times and the rude staff I will never go back to this location. read more

I had planned to try breakfast at Whataburger, but I arrived 25 minutes early. Oh well, I thought, I can try their Whatachicken, and hit that chocolate shake jones I was feeling. I also got a Whataburger, calculating that mustard & onions would really compliment the shake. I love it when a plan comes together. This Whataburger seems to be faster/less stacked at the drive-thru that the one on Dominik Dr. The order was prepared in half the time as the last time I went to the Dominik store, and that doesn't count the line I waited in before ordering. Whataburger is one of the few places in B/CS i've heard of that offers malts, as well as shakes. And their malts are quite malty. I chose a shake, but it didn't taste like a Sonic shake: it wasn't just chocolate milk, vanilla ice cream & ice. I think they must use some kind of powder chocolate base. My shake tonight seemed to have a small malty tinge to it. It almost made it a grown-up drink. And was I ever right to match the mustard and onion-laden Whataburger with that shake. Maybe I came in at the right moment so that the patty was right off the grill, or maybe this is the norm, and previous experiences were aberrations. The Whatachicken wasn't as good as the burger: the breading was slightly crumb-like & grainy, and its flavor seemed out of place with the rest of the meal. I could see black pepper in/on the breading, in keeping with bold flavors like their burgers, but it fel short, as did the wheat bun it came on (I had to really look closely to see that it was wheat, but I couldn't taste it). I will definitely give Whataburger more business, and especially this location. read more

I've never been to a bad Whataburger until today. The lady who took our order was constantly being interrupted by other things happening in the restaurant. We had to repeat our order 4 times because she kept entering it in wrong. To top it off we spent 45 min in line AFTER WE ORDERED! read more

I have been there now on several occasions. Whataburger has been one of my staples sense I was a kid but this location gives the chain a horrible name. The waits are long, customer service and friendliness is terrible, and lastly out of the last 5 times I have been there the buns and burger were cold even though I had just ordered it and asked for things like no tomato etc. I have been through a couple others and they are great. When I think fast food I expect it to take no more than 10 minutes to get my food and be on my way when going through a drive-thru. But every time I go to this Whataburger (once every other month) I am thoroughly disappointed. Today I reached my limit. I even went so far as to create a Yelp account just to get this out there. This is the most pathetic whataburger I have been to. I feel the need to include the fact that I have worked in the food industry for over two years, and while I have never worked for this specific chain. I have worked at similar restaurants. The staff is beyond help. When placing an order through the drive-thru it is never safe to assume that they understand. Either the staff can't hear you or they are messing with you. Then if you manage to get past that, they find a way to screw up the next part. You go to pay at the window and they end up charging you for what the car behind you has ordered as well. But then when you realize it and tell them they have to get everyone on staff to meet and discuss what to do. Like it takes the entire store to figure out what went wrong. It's not rocket science guys. It's burgers. It's beyond me that when these people have a full line of customers and cars they decide to waste 8 entire minutes to figure out that they should give back the difference between the receipts. And that's not all folks, if you were able to somehow make it through all of this without any problems, you still have to worry that the food is going to be cold. Because french fries are always disturbingly cold. And it's not like I live far away from this location. I have to drive 5 minutes and then bam. I'm home and ready to eat. But no. It's cold, and if I microwave them they still aren't worth eating. I'm not mad with the people who work here, or the food quality that they serve. I'm mad because it's been over two years since this has been occurring and they have never fixed any of it. I won't be coming back to this store. I implore you to do the same. read more

I just spent around $5 for 2 large cokes - drive off and realized later that they taste like watered down Dr. Pepper - I'm so tired of wasting money on this crap! Never again again will I go here especially after seeing all the bad reviews. read more

We live close and eat here way too often. A while back I had a terrible experience and threw my food away before even attempting to eat it because I just knew the girl working there had spit in it (maybe not..but I wasn't risking it). I emailed in my experience and was put in contact with the store manager. He was very apologetic and wanted to hear both sides to the story (understandably). He offered to send a gift card to encourage our return which I thought was nice. Well...it's been almost 5 months and no gift card ever came in the mail. How's that for customer service? We will continue to eat here as we love Whataburger...just wish they followed through with their apologies. read more

I don't understand why but the hottest food ive ever gotten there was luke warm at best. Most of the time it is cold.

A great burger. While the wait time is long at times, the burger is worth it. It is a faster wait than the local Fat Burger, and a much better burger than Fat Burger. Whataburger is the best burger in Texas for fast food, Fat Burger is the worst burger I have ever had. read more

Ordered an A1 thick & hearty meal with a root beer, the drink was a diet which I didn't ask for and the burger tasted very old like it had been sitting for a while and the fries were soggy and cold. This used to be a good Whataburger but I don't know what happened. The last half a dozen times I have gone here they have messed up my order. They have given me a wheat bun when I asked for a white bun, a burger when I asked for a chicken sandwich, and they constantly forget any extras. I have given up on this place. If I am by Rock Prairie from now on I will just get MacDonalds, this Whatburger has forever lost a costumer. read more
