While it will remain my go-to, there's just been a major change/difference in quality. A few days ago my mother and I ordered and the buffalo chicken strips were so thin and not seasoned well. The fries were cold. The toast was embarrassingly burnt. This time I went for the wings and fries and was generally pleased. One of my wings was nearly freezer cold which scared me a bit but other than that they were good. My fries were warm, not hot. The biggest accomplishment here is that the wings don't look like they're pumped with 9000x of steroids and antibiotics. Competitors are doing so just to make the wings have more meat on them and it's not working for me! Our server acted like she totally didn't want to be there and only checked on us for the check. This is a family regular spot for us. We've been coming here for years. After a recent visit, I noticed on my bank statement that there was a double charge for our most recent visit. I was provided an explanation that the credit card processor encountered server issues and my account, along with a number of other customers, was charged an additional time and that after a few days, the Processor would be returning those funds. It's now been 5 days. The only updates I've received are from my inquiries into the GM at the Southwood Valley location. We've continued our patronage during the pandemic - ordering food pick up to ensure that we were doing our part to contribute what we could to the staff we've come to enjoy. We've continued our patronage as the increase in food costs equated to us spending quite a bit more then what we were used to paying. We've even continued our visits when we've had neglectful service. It's unfortunate that my review of one of our regular and one of our favorite restaurants has gone so sour. read more
