I stopped in for a late lunch on 05-22-21. I was greeted immediately, and the gal that took my order was very patient with me, as I'm not familiar with the menu. The lobby is clean & safe. Worst customer service ever! What I ordered, Donaven did not enter, ordered onion rings for both meals, got one onion ring 3 french fries . Coke was flat. After waiting 10 mintes went to counter with my munber, on girl behind counter asked if she could help me, I said yes Id like my order, she said they wete waiting on the onion rings, 2 orders sitting there, i asked if i could have the ones sitting there, she said yes but only one 1. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Went to the drive thru tonight, and we were missing the chicken strips we ordered and paid for. Got home and called to let them know. Luis stated he would give them to us "free" if we went back. Mind you, this is after he said "well I gave you the cookies". Like okay Luis, you wanted us to feed our kids only a cookie each for dinner. So ended up droving back... and Guess what? He literally said free means they WONT CHARGE YOU TWICE. Told him he said that he would give them free (had the receipt where we had already paid for them when going through the drive thru) and Luis said "well when I said free I meant I won't charge you twice." Yes. THAT THEY WONT CHARGE YOU TWICE. While at the counter, 2 people that were dining in came up and said their fries and onion rings were cold. Freaking ridiculous. This location is VERY SLOW. Not one person is moving fast enough. I saw the manager (in gray shirt) in the back not even delegating, just casually talking. There was probably 7 employees in the back not being efficient. They kept bringing drinks out to people's cars, but food was taking a good while to be delivered. The best Whataburger I have ever been to, by far! Needed something for the long drive home so we went through the drive-thru, which has two lanes so it was pretty fast, and were back on the road. The fries were so hot and crispy I had to blow on them before eating, they were delightful and absolutely perfect. The burger, oh my! The patty melt to be specific, was so juicy and hot and melty, cheesy goodness, it was divine. Literally never had a better Whataburger meal in my life. read more

Ughhhhh this is by far the worst. The burgers always taste old. I'm more into crunchiness and I feel like not even the lettuce gives that. The fries are soggy all the time! The worst experience at a Whataburger we've ever had. They completely messed up our order. They put mustard instead of of cheese on the kids burgers and when we asked for grilled jalapeños on a burger they gave us a jalapeño in a plastic bag. They gave us a kids sized Dr.Pepper instead of a regular sized water. Just overall bad. read more

Got our order wrong, burgers were ok, but the fries had died days ago , they were horrible. My husband, being the kind heart that he is, didnt let me go complain, we did find about 3 fries that were eatable... Very disappointed... Never going back to this Harlingen location!!! read more

I normally don't critique "Fast Food" but this is not only one of the best locations but they have always been super clean, very friendly, and fast. Their hamburgers are some of the best you can find in the south and after being gone for three years and having a double cheeseburger, I forget just how much I missed these wide, thin burgers with their signature chewy bun and veggies. (And default usually comes with mustard AND mayo, the way it should be. Then you add ketchup.) Their onion rings and fries are awesome and reliably tasty, always crispy and never soggy. read more

I am from out of state - don't have Whataburgers where I came from -- drive thru on W. Harrison was slow, order was incorrect -- which I discovered when I got back to the hotel. Patty Melt was good but had no salt on it whatsoever and not a lot of sauce. For the price, was rather disappointed -- get more for your money at Burger King. read more
