    Double Meat Whataburger Meal (~$15)
    Aya E.

Ordered: Double Meat Whataburger Meal (~$15): Double Meat Whataburger (large bun, 2 large beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, diced onions, pickles), French Fries, Diet Coke, and Fancy Ketchup & Spicy Ketchup Aya's take: Everything is in fact bigger in Texas! I don't remember if I've ever had Whataburger, and I was shocked to see how massive the burger was (apparently they're 5 inches). It reminded me of a much better executed Whopper honestly. The patties had good flavor but didn't taste super fresh, the bun was pretty soft, and the toppings are visible in each bite. The French Fries were also good! These reminded me of a less salty and less satisfying McDonald's fries. They were still great and went well with the Whataburger. I also liked both Ketchups but the Spicy one isn't spicy at all. All in all, great try and for this being an airport location, prepare to pay ~10-20% more than at a standard location.

Nice Whataburger at the Houston International Airport (IAH) featuring excellent service, Whataburger menu favorites, and a foot court area nearby with a lot of tables and seats. Recommended!

Burger was cold and tasted bad. Worst burger I've had in a long time. Very disappointing. Especially for my first time having one. I will not be back or be recommending this burger place. Counter gal was friendly, but boy was this not what I was expecting in a burger from a supposedly legendary establishment. I had the Whataburger with cheese, fries and a drink, which was served in a styrofoam cup. It ain't all that. Maybe the chicken is better?

Had a quick lunch here @ Whataburger IAH today... Got Patty Melt Combo (with fries and drink) and always a thumbs up for taste and freshness. Service is up to par (cashier / order taker Kendraly is friendly and helpful). The place is clean and tidy, tables are quickly cleaned after each use. This is the only Whataburger here at Houston - IAH.

One of the better food spots inside IAH so it is what it is. You will be paying more than MSRP for your meals so make the best out of the situation that is dining at IAH. Food came out fine and the order came out correct. Plenty of seating around but I suggest finding a quiet space to eat in piece.

Fast service. It's a must try. Spicy ketchup is a must try for this place. It's located close to B terminal. Excellent salad and burger. 9-21-2021

If you ever want a burger with the gritzel still in the meat. The fatty juices pouring out the bread and cheese perfectly flavored. This is the spot..I would never call another Hamburger a Burger again. Never. Ever ever....Everything is just frozen minced mystery meat patties outside of this place. Fantastic burger. Just fantastic.

This was my First time trying Whataburger. I'll say the food was nice and hot, veggies were fresh. Being from California I had to compare to In & Out and I'll have to side with.......... Dun dun duuunnn In&out sorry Texas but a good second place.

Better the man Smash burger for sure. Like the pickle and jalapeño, but the onion is too over powering.

Let's talk about it…read more First time visiting Jack in the Box, fresh off the plane in Houston and ready to see what the hype's about. Spoiler alert: there isn't much. We ordered the Bacon Double Smashed Jack Burger, and let me tell you -- it looked like the love child of a Burger King Whopper and a Wendy's Double Stack... just without the flavor. It was all meat, no magic. Thick patties, lots of bite, but zero seasoning. It was really hitting on nothing. Now let's talk about the curly fries -- they were extra crispy in the way that says "we forgot about these in the fryer." They tasted like they wanted to be Arby's fries, but got left behind in the group chat. Dry, overcooked, and aggressively forgettable. And then -- the tacos. Oh man. Easily the worst thing I've eaten in the past year. Greasy, soggy, and barely holding together, like someone dared to deep fry a disappointment. Taco Bell's basic crunchy taco would sweep these in a street fight. The vibe inside? Funny enough, it looked like an old school Taco Bell that never got the renovation memo. Dim lights, weird energy, and not a lot of love. Final rating: 4 out of 10. Would I come back? Probably not -- unless I lose a bet or all the other fast food joints are closed. Catch me somewhere else next time -- this one's getting a hard pass.

It's a little slow for a fast food restaurant, but overall the food was good. Had a great burger.read more

I wanted to start with one biscuit, but the biscuits come in pairs. The waitress said I could order just one anyway, but the order ended up being two. I meant to save the second one for breakfast, but that was not to be. It did not survive long enough to make it out the door. My actual meal was a bacon swiss and mushroom burger, which was excellent. Between the biscuits and the burger, I am forced to acknowledge that it was entirely too much food. Sadly, that did not prevent me from eating all of it anyway. Delicious! The restaurant, which is a diner with very basic decor, is on an approach road to IAH, and is open 24/7. When I arrived in the evening, the place was empty. By the time I left, there were a whole bunch of customers. I noticed in other reviews that people were saying they did not receive checks for their meal and felt they were over-charged at the register. I did not receive a check either, but the amount I was charged at the register seemed accurate -- and I was paying attention because I had read the other reviews first.

The Frisco melt itself was good, though the cheese wasn't fully melted, which is kind of expected with airport fast food. The fries were a little soggy and I wish they had been cooked longer. We also tried the cookie dough milkshake. The flavor was just alright, but I did like how thick the shake was. Next time I would like to try a different flavor. The service was okay, just average fast food service. The location is inside a mini food court with other fast food chains. Overall, it was a pretty decent experience.

The next day, I show up 3 hours early just so I could make it here. Of course, I got 'lost' within Terminal C since I don't know this airport, but after asking two different employees, I re-found Steak 'n Shake. No line, so I was able to order right away, but was slightly disappointed they had a limited menu and not their full one. I had to 'settle' with a single, fries and lemon-lime (Starry) drink. $13.80 later, I had my food. Don't get me wrong, I still really like S&S, but this was okay. But even at okay, I'm still eating it. Even though I don't care for shredded lettuce, I'm not leaving it. Glad I made it over here, but would consider something else next time. *Dream bigger than me, people.
