Worst Whataburger ever! Bad customer service. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese breakfast taco and waited for my order. Got it after about 7 minutes ready to enjoy but to my surprise it was a potato egg and cheese. Sent it back and told them their mistake. Waited another 7 minutes and got the order back, but again it was the same, potato egg and cheese. We waited an extremely long time for a fast food restaurant for our food. After 10 minutes of watching all of the staff just stand around I finally had to ask what was taking so long. The worst Whataburger I have been to, the service is so bad that I don't understand why I even bother anymore. No one really listens to you order because they are too busy talking. I asked for onion rings not fries, and where is my order?! They think someone else took it! Well I have ears and was standing within 10 ft I know what #757 sounds like if I heard it! The meal was good, but the service was ugh. I asked what a chicken melt was and my server, Brittani, pointed at the menu. I looked at it, but there wasn't a picture or anything. So I ordered something else. I asked for a few things and she asked if that was a meal. I said I didn't know (it's my first time ordering at Whataburger, and I don't know if a bottled drink constitutes as a meal) but she said it was. I don't see why she had to ask...I told her the three things I wanted so it's up to her to input that appropriately. Then she asked me to repeat my order a couple more times and asked something that sounded like "was that a large?" Bland. That's the word. My 1st time for Whataburger. Had heard good things. Decided to go the chix route. Got nuggets - good temperature but over breaded and bland. Definitely needed dipping sauces. Tried a burger from this place and it is basically the In N Out of an area that may not also have a Five Guys near it. The burger patty was a bit greasy, but the rest of it was very juicy and fresh. They top it with the works (onions, lettuce, cheese, jalapenos, etc.) It was great to have one of these while I was loitering around terminal B due to my 1 hour layover today. Camera phones have high quality optics and can discreetly record your card's information. Regular Whataburger locations have contactless payment terminals or customers can swipe their own card. This was my first time at Whataburger and it will probably be my last. They did not make my order correctly, they left out the onion rings, and it took more than 20 minutes for them to get me the chicken strips. I told them of the rush, and they did not respond to me at all (not even a verbal acknowledgement). I almost missed the flight because of how slowly they were working. Placed my order for a #10 Whatachicken meal at 7:32pm and received my meal at 7:53pm! It took 23 minutes to receive my order! Unbelievable! Then when I opened the wrapper to bite into my sandwich it was the WRONG sandwich! They gave me a #1 Whataburger meal and not the #10 Whatachicken meal! It took 23 minutes and they still couldn't get the order right! To add to my negative dining experience, several customers had duplicate Order Numbers and customers were confused as to whose meal it really belonged to. And lastly, a young man in the kitchen area was wearing ear buds listening to his music while handling food. Well, here we go. I have two hours to kill for a layover. I've seen videos about how great Whataburger is and how families have had their thanksgiving dinners at Whataburger. So I decide to give it a try! From the start, I wasn't impressed with the service. The cashier I had wasn't rude, but it just seemed like she couldn't care less about her job. Compared to Chick Fil A's service (10/10), I would give this place a 0/10. Seriously, it was that bad. Talked in a low voice and just looked at you in a b*tchy way. So, we're not starting off good. But here's the funny part, it took 20 minutes to get my food. 20 minutes! Are you kidding me? They have 7+ workers in the kitchen and it takes them 20 minutes to prep my meal? That's ridiculous for a fast food place in an AIRPORT. Like they didn't care for anyone's up coming flight soon. So I finally get the food, FINALLY! And to be honest, the burger was good, but it wasn't that good. Overrated to the max. I would seriously just put it above Burger King. Fries were pretty good, they were hot and salted. So to round this review up, workers their suck and give off a terrible vibe, and the food is overrated. You're better off going to Chick Fil A. Great food. At home, we do not have these, but I went here expecting a good fast food cheeseburger, and I got it. I barely had to wait at all for my burger, and it had a great atmosphere. It is definitely a good, safe bet for anyone who wants a good, big burger. read more

Good price, great and fast service, and a great burger (low carb even). The ladies taking the orders were quick and friendly, and were also having a good time, which was refreshing. I'm cutting back on carbs, so I ordered a double cheeseburger without the buns. It was not a problem for those folks: they got it out to me in a couple of minutes, despite being very busy. While waiting I noticed that all of the folks there, even the ones in the back cooking, seemed to be having fun with the others on their team. Great to see that. The burger was fantastic, and I'm not exaggerating. I hadn't eaten Whataburger in probably 20 years, and didn't expect much at all. However, the keto Reddit group recommended Whataburger, so I gave it a try. Very glad I did. I'm in iah regularly, and Whataburger will be my go-to eatery. read more
