I went to JAX for work and I'm here to settle the debate against In-n-out. In-n-out is a GREAT burger for the cost, but there are limited options. There is no bacon, chicken, onion rings, etc. There is no comparison. Whataburger has an extended menu that is overall OK, and there's nothing wrong with that. 24hrs, filling food, and bbq sauce etc. I would say Whataburger is more comparable to Burger King with their menu. Ordered a double patty bacon cheese burger with BBQ sauce on the side and it came out quick and fresh. I wish the cheese was more melted.

Fresh, great tasting food that gets better with each visit. My dining experience is more enjoyable due to the friendliest of the staff and management. They're are courteous and professional. The dining area is kept clean and comfortable. Download the Whataburger app on your phone and enjoy the great offers and benefits of ordering on line. See y'all again soon!

I was so excited to try Whataburger, because people kept recommending it, but I was very disappointed with the food I could have just gone to McDonald's and I pride myself for not eating McDonald's. The food left much to be desired. The price is reasonable, but the taste wasn't great at all. I ended up having to go elsewhere to buy food again because this is not satisfying so my taste buds at all.

After years of driving past this restaurant I finally decided to stop in and give it a try during lunch. The place was very busy but organized. It was nice to take a seat after I ordered and wait for someone to bring me my tray of food. The cashier was helpful when I asked for some assistance. And the burger is pretty big. The fries are crispy. And the boneless wings had a crunchy exterior and tender exterior. So I was pleasantly surprised! My only complaint was the soda didn't have enough carbonation and it tasted flat (and the area was a little messy). Otherwise I enjoyed stopping in for a little fast food indulgence.

THE WORST. I can't emphasize that enough. I was second in line in the drive through, it took me almost 40 minutes to get a combo meal.... that wasn't even right. The guy in front of me handed his wrong order back 3 times amd still had to "pull forward". I ordered a #5 combo: the bacon and cheese burger. I got ZERO bacon on my burger. The burger was cold, the bread was soggy and falling apart, and the fries were cold. I was there so long, I just left, didn't even bother to send it back. Worst Whataburger experience ever. 0/10 will never go back.

Texas sized food in Jacksonville, can't say no to that! Pros: large portions, reasonably priced, food that will hit the spot in a pinch, and accommodating service. Cons for me: I feel a bit let down after so many people hyped up Whataburger to me. This was my first time ever visiting a Whataburger and I had high hopes...maybe to high because of what others had told me. Don't get me wrong, the food was good and filling but there was no real flavor on the burger and wouldn't be my top choice for fast food. Regardless, I can at least say I've had this iconic fast food joint. My top recommendations would be the onion rings, and chicken tenders dipped in gravy. Next time I go I'll try the patty melt, that came recommended by a buddy. Overall, it's worth trying and I hope my next experience is better.

We stopped here after quite a long drive and were starving by the time we got here. We specifically wanted to try Whataburger as this chain is not something we can get at home. The staff was very helpful and patient as we all kept adding things and asking questions about the items we were ordering. Admittingly, we were all hangry and difficult and had some specific customizations. The presentation of the sandwiches is absolutely terrible. They look so unappealing. However, upon biting into the hot mess, there was lots of flavor and crispy veggies and a pretty good vibe overall. The burgers were much bigger than expected (Whopper size for lack of a better comparison), so that meant I got some extra burgers! (I bat clean up for the family). The bacon was crispy, the fries were fresh, and only one mistake was adding pickles which were easily removed. We were too hungry to complain and get another burger. We were in and out quick and had very large drink cups to take with us.

Ordered online and came in a minute early and wasn't ready yet which is fine, but the front worker was rushing the order and made sure everything was there and didn't want us to wait. Super quick service, everything was fresh. Had the sweet and spicy burger and it was amazing. Manager was super sweet. Will return if I'm back in the area.

I believe this location may be cursed. pollo Tropical had a great product at greta pricing, but they couldn't manage staff well. This building is a redesigned Pollo Tropical. The decor is trendy and utilitarian and the space was clean. Employees were friendly and professional. Our food was ready on time and was hot. the French fries were crispy and very heavily seasoned. The real travesty here is the chicken. Form the very first bite I had a mouth of dry spices, with the gritty texture to go alone with it. The taste of cumin is so overwhelming that it is making me gag and I use cumin regularly in cooking. I don't get it. Quite literally the worst chicken I have ever had. Like eating chicken that someone dropped in the garden and just shook off. Truly awful. Sorry, Dave's, but what we got was a joke right? I just wanted to add that I did try to reach out to Dave's. If you call the restaurant, it won't let you talk to anyone there and instead you get a message that recommends sending a message through their website. So that's what I did. Days later, and I still have no response from the incompetent leadership at Dave's Hot Chicken. I would very much like to speak to someone that is either an area or corporate leader. How do I reach them since I'm having to file a Better Business Bureau complaint and a chargeback with my credit card just from this experience where apparently you don't give a damn about your customers. Congratulations on the cursed location. Out of all the bad experiences we had at Pollo Tropical, none were this bad and clearly this location is operating without any training or leadership.

Amazingly, we did manage to find a table for our group however. The food wasn't quite as good as I remembered this time. In particular, the spaghetti was weak: maybe not enough sauce and hot dogs in it. Perhaps I didn't like the chicken as much either: the crust is really good, but my wife's gravy the other day was a lot better. I did love the biscuit with honey, though we had to request the honey, and they no longer have butter for the biscuits. The peach mango pie was good as usual this time, though it's possible I liked the biscuits and honey even more (though my wife didn't like them like I do). My wife told me to ask for a plate, and I got one, so we learned something useful for the future. They did forget the pie for our order, but gave us one no problem when I went up and asked for it. My wife reports that the ladies' room faucet no longer slashes all over the place. However both bathrooms still serve only one person at a time. Install some stalls! There was a wait for the men's bathroom. I didn't manage to get any loyalty points for this visit: I couldn't find a 23-digit code to enter on the web site. It wasn't on the receipt; I read that it's on a small slip of paper printed after your receipt, but I don't believe we got one. Next time I'll have to order from the web or app, provide my phone number when I order, or scan the QR code in the app at the register to make sure I get points.

Love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food and Fast Eddy's popped up on Yelp and was just around the corner. Restaurant has just a few tables as well as a counter area. So very glad we found this restaurant! William is the owner and his son Will waited on us - both so friendly, helpful and personable! The menu is awesome - a great selection of appetizers, salads, soups/stews, sandwiches and main dishes - many Middle Eastern choices and a few American bites as well. My favorite thing was that dishes and menu sections are named after various family members - William's mom, dad and siblings. We started with the hummus and pita chip appetizer - so yummy! Hubs and I eat hummus everywhere we go, and this rivaled some of the best! Amazing flavor, creamy with just the right amount of olive oil, garlic and paprika. I had the falafel wrap with a side salad - really good! Hugs had the fattoush salad followed by chicken tikka kebab with grilled mixed veggies - he loved it and shared a few tastes with me - delicious! All I can say is, when you go to Fast Eddy's Quick Mideast, get the Derby Fillies sandwich! And I hereby order my readers to GO!! There are good reasons why this awesome Mediterranean cuisine outlet is as close to 5-star as you can get! First, I really like the uniqueness of this ma and pa shop. It's been here at this location now for around four years and seems to have built a nice clientele, but always welcoming of more! The wall decor is filled with pictures of Rock n Roll heroes past and present. And, yes, you will get to have your ears filled with the songs of many of these artists while you eat. I sat at the Ozzy and Randy Rhodes table and I can't say how I feel about that company! The servers were extremely courteous. Reza and Victoria were just outstanding from beginning to the end of our eating experience. I'm very grateful for their looking after us and answering our questions. Looking around at how they treated and dealt with other customers, my feeling is that this is how they treat customers consistently who visit Fast Eddy's. Both of us chose Reza's recommendations. My Derby Fillies might seems like a normal sandwich (sub type) with chicken, peppers, onions, mushrooms, American cheese on a hoagie roll. However, the way it's grilled in their "Babylonian sauce," really seals the deal on this sandwich. The sauce really blends well with this hot sandwich and you'll be thrilled you chose it! Even better yet, it is a large sandwich, so I had the other half on the next day - just as good as the first! My dearest ordered the Hammurabi burrito. This was another stellar choice as recommended by Reza once again. This sandwich is one of creativity, more than basic like the Derby. It comes on a flour tortilla with pickles, sumac onions, biryani rice, French fries, Amba sauce, chicken, along with garlic spread. Goodness I don't know a few of the items on this burrito! But it also blended excellently together and the pickles made it a treat! I got to eat from it two days in a row and it was just as good as the first day on the second! For sides, I had Mac and cheese. Yes, it was a solid Mac and cheese with some pepper in it. Our other side was the roasted vegetables. These are awesome! Both of the sides were delightful and easily shared between both of us. For dessert, we did try their homemade baklava. Well, when I tried it I knew it was unlike any baklava I've ever eaten. I knew it had to be made in-house and was a special recipe created in-shop. I was right on both counts! It was the best I've ever eaten. If you love baklava, you won't be disappointed here! Fast Eddy's is truly a superior restaurant and is now in my top five list of JAX favorites! There is good booth seating here and carry-out is available. Besides sandwiches, you'll also find soups, stews, salad options, street tacos, new world American food options, specialty choices (including spicy chicken curry, Nada's Arabic Macaroni, among others), kabobs, and more! The hard rock will play as you eat. It was loud when we came in for a while, but to their credit, they did lower the volume around the middle of our time there. Make a visit! This is a can't miss restaurant! Recommend: HIGHEST

We ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, two build your own cheeseburgers and a chicken sandwich. Most came with fries but I got onion rings. Our order came out promptly and was delivered to the table by our employee. All of the food was well prepared and I was surprised how soft my bun for my burger was and how much crispy bacon you got for a fast food burger. All in all a pretty good burger. After finishing our meals, we opted to order custard to go for dessert. The employee that took our order was new and struggled with the register so our stay and payment were more complicated than they needed to be. My daughter got a vanilla waffle cone (for ice cream you only have three choices: vanilla, chocolate, and flavor of the day), my sons and I got milkshakes and my wife got a butterfinger concrete. My chocolate shake was super thick and I had to let it melt and drink it once I got home bc I was driving and could not use a spoon. My sons said their shakes were thick also. I was also surprised by the price for our meal $60 for a family of 5 for our meals and another $25 for ice cream. A little less than what I am used to for fast food right now.
