I chose Durb's based on the great reviews and the fact that my brother had always wanted to visit. My wife and I both ordered smash burgers - she opted for tots, I went with mozzarella sticks. The sides were both perfectly standard, but the burgers were anything but. The difference between these smash burgers and most is that these were real thick boys. I was kind of shocked how much food this was. The sauce was great, but I was already full around the halfway point of the burger. I don't say this to complain, but my favorite smash burgers are usually lighter than a normal burger. This was anything but. We ate these at 1:30pm and I didn't need to eat again the rest of the day. I finished with a pistachio cake slice and enjoyed that probably more than the burger. Cool concept! I'd love to come back again, especially to try today's special, which was a Chicago dog burger. But for visit #1, I wanted to stick with what they are famous for.

I just hope the attention to the food doesn't disappear.

The eggs were fine, but they literally ladled out the gravy with a teaspoon I don't think I got more than two teaspoons of gravy on each biscuit, then they sprinkled some sausage on top of the gravy. They were sausage crumbs. They called it their southern breakfast, I call it away not to get repeat business.
