Sunday afternoon. Very quiet. Restaurant was very clean. Came for the free spicy chicken sandwich promo on Sundays that they're currently running and also ordered a banana pudding shake. Was in town for a birthday party? Just looking for something new and different. I had never eaten at whataburger, but heard of it and all the raves were, it's so good. So I thought I would try it. We ordered a patty melt look, my only disappointment is they make the Patty meals with American cheese, and that's the worst cheese to make a Patty melt with. Ordered one of murdered with bacon.No mustard no cheese. Well, in my opinion, i've had much better burgers.And the cheese makes the burger, so they should have used cheddar cheese with cheese, provolone cheese.Anything but american cheese. read more

Food: for fast food I'd give this a 3 star. The onion rings were pretty decent, fries were acceptable, chicken wings were ok (did like the honey butter flavor), and my husband rated the burger a 4 star (not as good as in-n-out). My sister got a cinnamon roll and that was actually my personal favorite item. Ambience is as good or better than most as it seemed pretty clean and well kept. Service: the employees were friendly but the actual service was extremely slow. 30 minutes to get a fast food meal. Quite surprised at how long it took. The speed was one . I was coming home from out of town late at night. I was so happy to see that they were still open. I went inside because the drive through was backed up. There was one person in line. They helped that person and went into the back. I heard someone say there is someone standing at the counter. After about 10 minutes of waiting at the counter someone came out. They informed me that it would take 20 minutes to make anything and asked if wanted to wait. Nope not coming back. I would say that location is cursed. read more

I decided to stop here this morning for breakfast. I went to order on the app before I left for work but it said the food would be ready in 3-6 minutes. If you've been to fast food locations, if you order ahead of time they typically make it and let it sit, getting cold. So I waited until I was on the exit ramp before placing my order. My app told me "thanks!", gave me an order number and receipt, and said my food would be ready in 3-6 minutes. I place the order at 6:30AM. At 6:34AM I pull up, nobody else there. They usher me through the drive through and I pull up to the window. Here's where the problems start. He says "I don't have an order for you." What? I just placed it. I show him my phone screen and he says "okay, but it has to come through our system. I can't fulfill until it shows up on our screen." Okay....so I pull around the front to wait. He had mentioned it takes a couple minutes to come through. Well...imagine my surprise when the clock hits 6:45 and I'm still sitting there. I can see the employees inside on their phones and people walking back and forth with no update on my order. At this point I'm late for work but it's a sunken time fallacy so I decide to wait a little longer. I finally call the restaurant and say "what is going on? It should not take this long." The lady assured me the order just came through and it'll be out soon. Well another 5 minutes passes by and then FINALLY they appear with my food. The guy only offers a "sorry" and gives me the food. It is now 6:58AM and I am effectively very late for work. I make it to work and take out my sandwich to eat. It is terribly smushed and honestly, it looks like somebody stepped on it. It ended up tasting fine but I would not wait 30+ minutes for this. read more

The food was horrible! Worst hamburger I ever had in my life even the ones you buy at convenience stores in the coolers that you heat up in the microwave or at least 50 times better than this and the fries were room temperature thank goodness we wasn't very hungry we got one combo to split and we both agreed it was the worst ever burger. We each took a bite of our half and threw the rest in the garbage along with the cold french fries won't be wasting my money at another Whataburger read more

New location in kennesaw, these guys are popping up everywhere it seems but unlike the neighbor whataburger on chastain rd this one is really meh. The food took 30 minutes and came out like warm. Kind of disappointing but I'm a whataburger fan from my time spent in Texas not giving up on them and need to try some breakfast. Every single time that I've come to this location I've received terrible service. Always long wait times and difficulty ordering. They almost never have anyone at the front counter to take orders or provide people the cups for their orders. F for failure. Slowest service I've ever experienced and they wernt even busy. Full kitchen but it looks like no one cares about doing their job. One woman came out to get some water and when I asked about my order after 15 minutes I've been waiting She asked what my name was and she just went back and said "Chris is waiting on his order"... 10 minutes later finally came. They forgot the milk shake, so a total of 25 minutes. And the food wasn't even that great. Do better. read more

Set aside a tremendous about of time. You're going to need every second of to wait for your cold off the grill food to arrive. This is not typical of the other Whataburgers I've been to. This is a new location so they may be experiencing some growing pains, but they're really going to need to get their act together soon. read more

Twice in the past two weeks I have ordered a meal. They have a promo for a $2 brownie on their menu board when you purchase a meal, but both times I have ordered it I was told they no longer had that promo. I commented they needed to take the promo down if it was no longer available or honor the $2 price. Both times my request was rebuked. I ordered my food, which took an hour to get to me. That wasn't the only problem when people asked for a refund the manager would say back off and tell them no. I asked for sauce and was told that I could have it but when the woman brought the sauce tray she walked right past my table. read more

I have eaten at the Ernest Barrett location in Kennesaw several times. It gets worse every time. My hamburger was cold today and after telling the cashier 3 times no cheese, they put cheese on it. The French Fries were also cold, but overcooked. Overall, my food was uneatable and was thrown away after just a few bites. I'm sorry I wasted my money. read more

As many others have said, they somehow manage to mess up every part of their process, onion rings cold and soggy, burger was cold and they managed to leave the cheese out of a cheeseburger, not to mention it was drowned in mustard to the point it was dripping when none was even requested, milkshake was half melted, service was also incredibly rude and snappy. read more

Ate lunch at Whataburger on Barrett Parkway with my wife and daughter today Saturday March 16, 2024, and it was awful. It took 25 minutes for us to get our order and not one of the burgers were correct, the burgers didn't taste fresh, and the fries were cold. It was busy but it seemed as if workers could care less, none of them were in a hurry at all. I witnessed the lady who was bringing out the food being disrespectful to at least 2 different customers, having an attitude with them, being. The service was slow and sub par, the food was okay at best, not worth the 25 minute wait or the $30 that we paid for it. The men's restroom was a mess, water and pee all over the floor. It was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had in a very long time. Very disappointed and will not even think of going back again. read more

Got to the drive through at 6:20a. Ordered a hotcake platter and a chicken biscuit. Was informed that it would be a few minutes because they hadn't made biscuits yet. Didn't leave drive thru until 6:36! I would have left had I not paid. I asked her for an extra syrup and she was about to charge me 42 cents. I asked her to at least give me an extra one due to the unacceptable wait. She was rude and refused. I asked her to speak to a manager. She said she WAS a manager! I was the only customer there and it took 16 minutes to have food ready and no apology or syrup. AND she handled money with her gloves on (was preparing food in kitchen as well). I didn't eat the food and based on other reviews, unless this spot gets new management, it will not last. Yessica specifically. Garbage service. read more

Before leaving, I visited the restroom again to wash my hands, only to find that the strong urine odor persisted. I reported these concerns to a supervisor on duty. As a longtime customer who appreciates Culver's reputation for quality food and clean establishments, I was extremely disappointed by this experience. The combination of cold, poorly prepared food, unsanitary restroom conditions, and disruptive cleaning practices during peak dining hours falls far below the standards I have come to expect from your brand.

We tried 3 burgers, 1 chicken sandwich, fries and tots all were good. Now this is greasy diner food so don't go in with unrealistic expectations. But this is a family place and a great option for the GF community. We will definitely be back! Just so you know...the chicken tenders, fried pickles and onion rings can be GF but are NOT dairy free. The fries and buns are GF and DF. MY only note we went on a Saturday and the bathroom floors were sticky and the booths needed a better wipe down. I know it's hard to get everything done but a little cleaner would have kicked it up to a 5 Star for me.

However there are 2 games sitting out behind the bar - Toy Story and The Flintstones. We picked up the bread pudding to go because we had some other things to do. It was warm, and tasted like peach cobbler. Definitely some of the best bread pudding I have had. I'm going to have to go back and enjoy some there with the ice cream and whipped cream. First of all, it felt like a misleading description to describe the burger as having two "smash patties". These were definitely not smash patties under the traditional definition in my opinion. The bun was good, but the burger patties themselves were far too plump, lacked bounce, had no caramelization in the edges and were not juicy on the inside. It tasted like a burger you'd find at your neighbor's backyard BBQ with a general lack of flavor and course texture like the lean to fat ratio was off and the burger was cooked on too low a temperature. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the burger was a let down and extremely overpriced. You're better off going to a fast casual spot like Freddy's where you can get a great smash burger for much less.
