Was in town for a birthday party? Just looking for something new and different. I had never eaten at whataburger, but heard of it and all the raves were, it's so good. So I thought I would try it. We ordered a patty melt look, my only disappointment is they make the Patty meals with American cheese, and that's the worst cheese to make a Patty melt with. Ordered one of murdered with bacon.No mustard no cheese. Well, in my opinion, i've had much better burgers.And the cheese makes the burger, so they should have used cheddar cheese with cheese, provolone cheese.Anything but american cheese. read more

Food: for fast food I'd give this a 3 star. The onion rings were pretty decent, fries were acceptable, chicken wings were ok (did like the honey butter flavor), and my husband rated the burger a 4 star (not as good as in-n-out). My sister got a cinnamon roll and that was actually my personal favorite item. Ambience is as good or better than most as it seemed pretty clean and well kept. Service: the employees were friendly but the actual service was extremely slow. 30 minutes to get a fast food meal. Quite surprised at how long it took. The speed was one . Apparently health department regulations mean as much to the employees of this store as the customer experience does. Today I visited this location in Kennesaw. It ranks as one of the most disgusting visits to a fast food restaurant in my life. I ordered a meal with unsweetened tea as a drink. After a really long wait in the drive through line, I got to the window, paid, and was handed my drink. I tasted and it was SWEET tea. Not a big problem, as this happens from time to time. However, the cashier, just stood motionless, fixed on something else seemingly more important (was it a cellphone?? I'm not sure, it was just out of my range of vision). I waved my cup out the window and held it up for approximately 4 minutes. You know, the amount of time it took to make a chicken strip sandwich and fries with absolutely no special request after I had already been in line for about 15 minutes. When a young gentleman handed me my food (cashier still seemed disassociated with her job), I told him that I ordered unsweet tea but had received sweet tea. He took my cup while he was wearing gloves that were completely covered in brown grease and condiments from obviously working the grill (or at least I HOPE it was the grill). He kept these filthy gloves on while he dismantled my cup, removing the lid and straw. He then used the same cup and refilled it and returned the SAME CUP, LID, AND STRAW that I passed to him--even after handling every piece of this with his visibly greasy gloves. I asked him if I could AT LEAST have a fresh straw. He gave me one. I was so disgusted I drove off... to learn that he gave me yet ANOTHER sweet tea. I decided to stop here this morning for breakfast. I went to order on the app before I left for work but it said the food would be ready in 3-6 minutes. If you've been to fast food locations, if you order ahead of time they typically make it and let it sit, getting cold. So I waited until I was on the exit ramp before placing my order. My app told me "thanks!", gave me an order number and receipt, and said my food would be ready in 3-6 minutes. I place the order at 6:30AM. At 6:34AM I pull up, nobody else there. They usher me through the drive through and I pull up to the window. Here's where the problems start. He says "I don't have an order for you." What? I just placed it. I show him my phone screen and he says "okay, but it has to come through our system. I can't fulfill until it shows up on our screen." Okay....so I pull around the front to wait. He had mentioned it takes a couple minutes to come through. Well...imagine my surprise when the clock hits 6:45 and I'm still sitting there. I can see the employees inside on their phones and people walking back and forth with no update on my order. At this point I'm late for work but it's a sunken time fallacy so I decide to wait a little longer. I finally call the restaurant and say "what is going on? It should not take this long." The lady assured me the order just came through and it'll be out soon. Well another 5 minutes passes by and then FINALLY they appear with my food. The guy only offers a "sorry" and gives me the food. It is now 6:58AM and I am effectively very late for work. I make it to work and take out my sandwich to eat. It is terribly smushed and honestly, it looks like somebody stepped on it. It ended up tasting fine but I would not wait 30+ minutes for this. read more

They helped that person and went into the back. I heard someone say there is someone standing at the counter. After about 10 minutes of waiting at the counter someone came out. Worst hamburger I ever had in my life even the ones you buy at convenience stores in the coolers that you heat up in the microwave or at least 50 times better than this and the fries were room temperature thank goodness we wasn't very hungry we got one combo to split and we both agreed it was the worst ever burger. Set aside a tremendous about of time. You're going to need every second of to wait for your cold off the grill food to arrive. This is not typical of the other Whataburgers I've been to. They have a promo for a $2 brownie on their menu board when you purchase a meal, but both times I have ordered it I was told they no longer had that promo. Ate lunch at Whataburger on Barrett Parkway with my wife and daughter today Saturday March 16, 2024, and it was awful. It took 25 minutes for us to get our order and not one of the burgers were correct, the burgers didn't taste fresh, and the fries were cold. It was busy but it seemed as if workers could care less, none of them were in a hurry at all. I witnessed the lady who was bringing out the food being disrespectful to at least 2 different customers, having an attitude with them, being. Got to the drive through at 6:20a. Ordered a hotcake platter and a chicken biscuit. Was informed that it would be a few minutes because they hadn't made biscuits yet. Didn't leave drive thru until 6:36! I would have left had I not paid. I asked her for an extra syrup and she was about to charge me 42 cents. I asked her to at least give me an extra one due to the unacceptable wait. She was rude and refused. I asked her to speak to a manager. She said she WAS a manager! I was the only customer there and it took 16 minutes to have food ready and no apology or syrup. AND she handled money with her gloves on (was preparing food in kitchen as well).
