OK, right up front: I'm not one of Whataburger's 'true fans' as I've had very variable experiences when it comes to food quality at this chain. However, I have to give credit when I come across a well-run outlet, and this is one of the best. It's brand new at barely a fortnight old as of July 2021, but they're still hard at work shaking out their opening-week kinks. My favorite item on the Whataburger menu hands-down is their Patty Melt. For the young'uns out there, the patty melt was invented in California circa the late 1940's. Traditionally, it's a hamburger patty on grilled rye bread, topped with onions and melted cheese (often Swiss). Whataburger swaps out the rye for a griddle-browned set of Texas Toast, a couple melty slices of Monterey Jack, and a dash of creamy pepper sauce. And you know what? It works! My order came out promptly, and both the entrée and the fries were piping hot. Service is still learning its trade (cashier still learning all the buttons, for example) and the staff is kept busy keeping things clean. Two thumbs up, and here's hoping that they're able to keep up these standards long term. This place scores a 5 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

This is a #10 w no tomato's and "extra" lettuce- meaning no tomato and literally one little piece of lettuce added on. Oh and also here is the amount of "sauce"- they also forgot to give me my large onion rings. Literally the worst whataburger I have ever been to. I have continued to give them a chance due to convince and my love for the chain but I will no longer give my money to this over priced POS

Whatabutger double bacon special burger. Hard AF bun, and forgot my onion rings.

The Double ButterBurger was…read moreeverything it should be--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and stacked with flavor on that signature buttery bun. The fried shrimp were golden and crispy with a light crunch that made each bite irresistible. French fries paired with the pretzel cheese dipping cup brought me back to my Chicago taste buds (also another reason I am a huge Culver's fan) What truly set this experience apart, though, was the owner. Incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has a great experience (even the kids!) That level of care and hospitality makes all the difference and keeps us coming back. Great food, outstanding service, and a fantastic owner--Culver's is the place to go! Also, if you're OCD like me--- ITS CLEAN HERE! I never feel disgusting leaving except when I am disgusted with how much good food I can devour

What surprises me is that the burgers I've gotten I can't say are great. They're good but they're not great. Another surprise for me was the fried shrimp which was actually very good and of course having visited more than once we tried the custard and it was good. The turtle version was what we got. They're a little slim on their caramel sauce, but otherwise it was OK. I lived in a state that did not have a Culver's, but the state next to us did and people from my state were driving an hour or more to get to them and raved about their butter burgers, but I don't even feel there's butter on the burgers or the buns. Am I missing something? What should I be ordering there?

I quickly learned why it's a favorite among the elevated crowd, the sandwiches are named after different THC strains! Before anyone asks, no, the food is not infused. The names are just part of the fun. Now, I'm a toasted sub enthusiast, and a toasted sandwich is only as good as its bread. Thankfully, this place delivers. The menu is creative, the atmosphere is laid-back, and there are plenty of little touches that make it stand out. One of my favorite surprises was the drink fountain stocked with old-school Kool-Aid flavors. Instant nostalgia! They also have a full bar and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to kick back and hang out. Don't skip the house-made "smoker snacks" either. The Rice Krispie treats and cookies are dangerously good and worth saving room for. A heads-up: parking can be a little tight up front, but I've heard there's additional parking in the back. My biggest piece of advice? Go big. The small sandwich is basically foreplay, it'll leave you wanting more. Order the large and thank me later. Overall: Great food, fun theme, nostalgic drinks, tasty treats, and chill vibes. Definitely a spot worth checking out, whether you're a cannabis connoisseur or just someone who appreciates a solid sandwich.

The…read moreatmosphere is so inviting /lots of people and lots of seating A concept I've not ever seen before in a toasted sub sandwich shop-or frankly any brand of sub sandwich location. I ordered a 4 inch essentially vegetarian sandwich. They have 4"-8" and 12" subs available and lots of choices-with unique names -mine was called "the Griefo" along with a make your own option. My sandwich had a couple of different types of lettuce, along with cucumber, red onion, and dill pickles (I requested) on a jalapeño cream cheese base. I was given a stand with the picture on it, and was advised the sandwich would be brought to me . After ordering my sandwich, I stepped across to the bar where I chose to sit on the outside barstools. The bar seating was quite full, but it was a beautiful day with a healthy breeze, so I was quite comfortable. The young lady behind the bar was very prompt in coming by to ask me if I would like a beverage and so I ordered a strawberry margarita. (a note.: they do not have frozen drinks at this time). She advised me it was the first time she had made a strawberry Version Of a margarita-but she did a great job and it was on point!!! shortly I was served my sandwich. (I didn't mention that there are options for bread for your sandwich, and I chose the herb and garlic.) I don't know where they get their bread, but it's delicious. My sandwich was stuffed with ingredients and looked and tasted really great!! What a great introduction to this cute little shop tucked away in a strip center off of W. Hero Way in Leander. In fact, it was so good that last night I phoned in an order and the three of us had it for dinner. I did attempt to use the online ordering system, but it kept notifying me that the restaurant was not taking online orders at that time. I knew it would be very risky to call in the order because I have a couple of people here that are very picky and although we found sandwiches for them, they were going to have to be a lot of alterations!!! However , I did call and a man on the other end of the phone took my order. Giving it was very intense making sure that I eliminated all the items that the two picky people in my household don't eat. In all honesty I didn't expect the sandwiches to turn out perfectly as there was a lot of background noise (sounded like everybody was having a great time there!!!). I was told the sandwiches would be ready in about 15 minutes so when I hung up I proceeded to get ready and drove over there. There is a separate area for to go orders so that is where I went. The young lady who was helping me couldn't find my order, but then I thought to tell her I phoned it in and they kept those orders in a different area up by the cash register. Sure enough there it was ready and waiting. The 8" White Widow was made exactly as requested. My son said the chicken breast in the sandwich had the best seasoning and flavor he had ever had. Next was the 4 inch Pacific blue which is a tuna melt(fresh tuna salad with cheddar cheese) and toasted too perfection. It also had to be altered, but was made just as requested. I had ordered the Griefo w/jalapeño cream cheese along with all the veggies-asked for pickles to be added, which they were! We had ordered one of the desserts, a "Gooball" which was similar to a rice crispy, treat with peanut butter, added and shaped into a ball.... how could that not be delicious???? We were more than satisfied with our sandwiches and divided up the Gooball so we all could have a taste. The perfect bite of sweetness at the end of a meal.!! We can't wait to experience their food again!!

Sauces provided were several for each taco. Burritos seem to have flour shells that are way too big for the amount of filling and are folded in and over numerous times so every bite is very little filling and a mouth full of tortilla. This was my first and last visit to this location. I've never experienced such a long wait for food at a fast-food restaurant. I left without any food and ended up going elsewhere. I'm not sure if I came at a bad time or if this is typical for this location, but I hope they can improve their service. The staff seemed nice, but the waiting time is unacceptable.
