Whataburger #5 Bacon & Cheese Whataburger Whatameal

This location was clean, which is very important, but definitely understaffed. I will say I went at midnight, but it took me 30 minutes to get my food with no one in front of me. The fries were fresh so that was great. The bun on the burger was cold. The onion rings as you can see were cooked in very old oil so those went in the trash. I reached out to the restaurant about it since no one would come to the front when I was waiting and never heard back from them.

I ordered the cheeseburger and it was decent, what I really liked was the patty melt. Spice ketchup is a great condiment.

Let me start out by saying I love a good Whataburger. I am from AZ but live in CA now and we don't have Whataburger in CA. I was excited to see one in TN. I was very disappointed. I got the Jr. Whataburger combo. The drink was a decent size more like a medium than a small. The fries were cold and limp. The ketchup was still good, but the fries were sad. The burger wasn't hot either. It was put together nicely and the toppings stayed on the burger. Overall it seemed like a leftover meal that had been sitting out for a long time. I won't give up on Whataburger, just chalking it up to a bad night.

Love me some Whataburger, it is so nice to find a Whataburger outside of good ole Texas. Those that did not grow up eating them might not understand the rational for why those that did have for our belief that it is the best burger.

Whataburger was a disappointment. This was my first time having it, and I had high expectations because people were saying that it's better than In-N-Out (one person in my group in particular said that too). Although I haven't had In-N-Out in a while, I can assure you that this is NOT better than it. I ordered a #2 Double Meat Whataburger without customizing it and a large french fries (~$10). I also ordered an apple pie for around $2 at the end of my meal to try it out. The burger was dry and flavorless. I couldn't really taste anything except bland meat and an assortment of toppings that did not mesh well. It was almost like a Whopper but worse. And the bread is kinda stale too like it doesn't have any wrinkles. Definitely not better than In-N-Out. The french fries, on the other hand, were really good! They were cooked perfectly, not too salty, and nice and thin. Definitely better than In-N-Out! The apple pie was standard. Nothing will beat McDonald's apple pies back in the day when they were fried, but this one was not bad. It was fresh--meaning that it came steaming hot--but was lacking flavor... specifically, cinnamon. No cinnamon in an apple pie is an L for me. Still not bad though. Overall, kinda meh. Maybe back in the day--as with all fast food chains--it was amazing and so much better, but it sucked. I don't care what anyone else says. I don't care what my friend group says. It was not good.

My wife and I have both been peeing out our butts all day. Hot nasty fire. Smells like filth. The only thing we both ate that was the same yesterday was Whataburger. I knew something was up when the burger was room temperature. The bun wasn't hot, no clue how long these patties had been sitting out. This was my second trip to this location, and it will be my last. I'm starting to think Whataburger is just trash. No matter which location we hit it's mediocre to bad. The service wasn't bad at least, and they got the food out really quick... too quick it seems. Maybe don't precook all the food and leave it out all day.

Waited to review after bringing my daughter twice as she is the only one who likes it. Both times has a been a disaster. Wait time is ridiculous not because the lines were that long. There's was a total of 6 cars including us. The food should be fresh off the oven we we are waiting 25 minutes for a simple hamburger and fries (not cool as they have been sitting out in the cold). There are two lanes for service but only the main one taking orders, so who ever is running the shift missed basic placements of cones. You put them before the lane not after. Even brought it to their attention and they never fixed it at least the 25 mins we were there.

But I have to say something about this ridiculous breakfast/lunch system. We sat down at 10:22 this morning. Our server tells us we have 8 minutes to order breakfast because at 10:30 they stop serving breakfast. Okay, no problem. So naturally I say, "Alright, we'll just order lunch." Nope. Apparently she can't put in a lunch order until 11:00. So from 10:30 to 11:00, we're just supposed to sit there and stare at each other. Seriously, what is this system? I'm sitting in a restaurant at 10:30 in the morning, hungry, surrounded by food, and apparently there is a 30-minute period where I am not legally allowed to order anything. It's 2026. We have AI, self-driving cars, phones that can translate languages in real time, and refrigerators that can tell us when we're out of milk. But Town Square Social apparently has a computer system that says: 10:29: "Would you like breakfast?" 10:30: "Absolutely not." 10:31: "Can I order lunch?" 10:31: "Don't get crazy." 11:00: "Okay, now you may eat." Again, I LOVE this place. The food is fantastic. This isn't a knock on the staff or the restaurant itself. But somebody needs to fix this stupid system. If I sit down at 10:22 and decide at 10:42 that I want lunch, I feel like we should have evolved enough as a society to make that happen. Until then, I guess I'll just stare at my wife for 30 minutes and contemplate my life choices. Great food. Great place. Absolutely ridiculous system.

I had the fish and chips and my wife had the "bikini chicken". My fish was overcooked. Better than undercooked of course, but not what I was expecting. Slaw was odd. Seemed like there were craisins in the slaw? It was much sweeter than it should be. Fries were good but no seasoning. Salad on the salad bar was a bit wilted. I will say I truly enjoyed the homemade dressing. It was thick and very tasty. Toppings were not as fresh as I am used to, but it was not bad. Pickled selection was nice. Don't order tap beer. Although they have a decent selection, it is warm and served in a non chilled glass. My wife enjoyed her chicken and her baked potato. If yo are not a tomato fan, probably ask for the. Hi Ken to not be on tomato slices. The Caesar salad was swimming in dressing. Probably should have asked for the dressing on the side. Tea was good. Just sweet enough to enjoy! Again, a must try just for the experience. Decor is older as the house is old but it adds character and we both enjoyed that. If the food was as good as we expected we may have given a 5 star. Maybe next time we try something else and give this place another try. If you are coming through the amazing town of Lebanon, drive through town, turn on Cadet Ct. and give Sammy B's a try.

I highly recommend this historic Lebanon gem to anyone looking for a relaxed, delicious meal in a place that still feels like "old school" hospitality done right. We've driven…read moreby Snow White Drive In many many times while exploring our new home area and this place is always busy! We decided to stop by around 5pm before they became too busy, which was a great idea. We sat ourselves inside and were greeted nicely by our waitress. Since this was our first time here, we went with a classic cheeseburger, mine with tots, husband with onion rings, I had a Coke Zero, and he had a butterfinger milkshake. We also ordered a side of okra and a mini bbq sandwich. I was amazed that a mini bbq sandwich was only $1.50! You can't find prices like that anywhere in restaurants these days! All "veggie sides" are $2.50 so I'll keep that in mind next time we visit since those prices aren't listed on the menu. The interior is run down and does need a good cleaning, especially the floors. It's a fun car-hop theme but needs a freshen-up for sure. The food came out SO quickly, less than 10 minutes. What I loved the most about the cheeseburger was that the onions, lettuce, pickles, and tomato were all fresh and crunchy, how it should be! My husband, who usually gives me his tomatoes because he doesn't like them, actually ate his! The okra was fine, not much spice to them and the bbq sandwich was dry and needed A1 sauce (provided on the table) which ended up being really good with it. The onion rings were perfect! The onion didn't come out of the breading like so many onion rings unfortunately do. The other nice thing we noticed is that the tipping portion was your choice of either $3, $6, or $9...none of that 15%, 20%, 25%, etc that we see so often. This made it a lot easier and less stressful. Overall, this is going to be our new "fast food" location now that I've sworn off of fast food chains, especially because you can order from your car at one of the stalls! Snow White Drive In also opens for breakfast at 5am, so we will definitely be there for that someday!

In fact, on Highway 70 running from Arizona to the Atlantic Ocean, this is the fourth oldest restaurant in continuous operation! I did weeks of research to figure that out. So Snow White is a really big deal! And I've always wanted to go! Well, I finally went. A whole team of employees working the front counter welcomed me inside. I wanted to sit outside but tried to order at the counter first. I was given a menu, directed to the tables outside, and told that someone would be right out to take my order. And I waited. And I waited. I wish they had let me put in an order inside! The smokers gave me a heavy dose of secondhand smoke. I read the entire menu from front to back. And I waited some more. People came and went. Patrons got their food. I was apparently invisible. And I had driven a LONG way from home, over an hour to get here, and over a decade of planning to visit someday. It was all for naught. Eventually, I left. It shouldn't take 20 minutes just to have someone acknowledge a customer, especially with a full staff - seriously no fewer than eight people working the counter inside - and a half-filled restaurant that wasn't exactly overwhelming the staff. It wasn't anywhere near the busy dinner house, off-peak for sure! One employee was handling a couple of cars waiting for food and that one table of smokers. They couldn't have one girl working the outside and eight working a half-filled dining room could they? I've said this before in my online reviews. I hate giving a one-star review when I haven't tasted the food. The rating should reflect the quality of the cuisine first and foremost. So this is only a temporary rating. If I ever make the one-hour trek to Lebanon again and risk going to Snow White in hopes of not being invisible, I'll update my review to properly reflect the food.
