Visited on a Friday evening, drive through and inside was full. Every staff member was efficient and smiling. I was able to place my order within 5 minutes and food was ready in 7 minutes. I like this Whataburger location! I've seen some reviews complaining about the wait but well, this is a small town so yes it gets busy at lunchtime. There aren't too many fast food places to choose from in this area. They do take measures to try and speed up service. When the drive thru gets backed up, an employee will go outside and assist in taking orders using a tablet. Since the building is literally on the corner the drive thru can't be expanded to two lanes. I've never had a problem with my order being correct or it tasting bad. Never had soggy fries or burnt food. It always taste good. It's one of the cleanest locations that I've been through. If you're on a work lunch break and running short on time, avoid this drive thru. Who would have thought that it takes over 20 minutes to receive one burger and one large fry. If you can definitely avoid coming when it's even somewhat busy. Employees are very lackadaisical and have no sense of urgency. Most of them were walking around or talking to each other. With only two or three actually working it seems like. AND it was the WORST Burger I've ever recieved from the Whataburger chain...HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!! To start, the buns were over-toasted practically BURNT, it had a meager less than a few fingers full of lettuce, 1/2 slice of tomato (C'mon really guys!! Who the hell does That!?!?! 1/2 a slice!!! RIDICULOUS) and the jalapenos I added were soooo few I could count them...yes, there were 4 jalapeno slices! Talk about CHEAP!!! This has NEVER happened at any other Whataburger Anywhere in Texas or Alabama. So if you're wanting Real Whataburger, do yourself a favor and...... AVOID the WHATABURGER in SEGUIN, TEXAS!!! We could have had a full meal for as long as we were in the drive thru. And then they got to order wrong, completely missed the big container of pancakes. And then we were asked to move forward while they cooked the pancakes (they didn't just forget to put them in the bag, they didn't even make them). Stopped for a bite to eat, took at least 15-20 min for the order to come out. Halfway through my grilled chicken melt I noticed it didn't look or taste right. Cut the chicken in half to see it was still RAW to the point where it was pink & slimy and clear looking. I'm hoping i don't get sick from it. But I'm sick to my stomach knowing I ate about half! They gave me my money back for that while whispering an apology and trying to keep anyone from hearing about it which disgusted me even more. In town for a visit. Usually like Whataburger. Went to this one for breakfast. Didn't receive utensils or straws through the drive thru. Promptly went in and asked for a refund due to their incompetence. The make believe manager couldn't do the refund. A more experienced lady that should have been the manager had to enlighten the dopey current manager on his job and apologized for the issue. Need some better management here. Your burger the way you want it, they use high quality beef here as well. Well above the quality of other big named fast food restaurants, and the prices are comparable. The have excellent breakfast items here too, their biscuits and gravy are very good, the fries are fine too but the real champ is the quality of the buns and burgers. They had an A-1 Steaksauce burger a while back that would knock your socks straight off, it tasted so bad for you but it was heavenly. The only drawback to going to any Whataburger is the wait for your food, it's always quite a long time, but you have to remember they're making your food to order and that will guarantee you're getting the freshest most piping hot meal you can get in the fast food biz. It's worth the wait and for the price you'll be hard pressed to find a better fast food burger. Top notch all the way with good customer service for good measure. read more

This whataburger we were just in I always eat here. Until tonight where I saw the manager TOUCH a chicken strip and put it into a box WITHOUT GLOVES.... Product- product was terrible we ordered 4 Tacitus a coke and a shake. Tacitus were poorly made and of all the whataburger shakes this one was weird I never can drink a whataburger shake at first because it's so thick. My family and I stopped here during vacation. The service was fast and I am very impressed with the employees, and particularly Zachary (white male, average build, dark hair, glasses), who was polite, fast, and knowledgeable. I noticed several employees pitching in to help out customers, and one even helped during his lunch break. Leonara was very sweet. Clean bathrooms too. Five stars! read more

Check my review for the other Seguin Whataburger. If you think this location is an acceptable alternative to the other completely inept location, think again. Placed a mobile order to be picked up in the drive thru, because I thought if I did a mobile order, maybe they wouldn't mess it up. Got to the store and cars were coming from two directions entering the drive thru, with no way for us to get in line. My husband went in to get the food. By this time, it was past the time when it should have been ready. There were two kids trying to order in front of him and that took forever and a day. It took over TWENTY minutes to get to the counter, with only two people ahead ordering. Two employees were sitting there on break watching it all go down. I understand people need breaks, but when it's busy like that, that might not be the best break time. Meanwhile, the line forming behind my husband had now wrapped out the door. The drive thru line was stacked up behind where we were parked. Our car almost got hit by someone trying to do a u-turn in the tiny, packed parking lot. Some lady in the car next to me was leaning out the window gesturing and yelling something towards me. I locked the doors. I'm pretty sure a drug deal was going down in the store. When my husband finally made it out of the store alive, the burgers were cold. There was no way we were going back in and the drive thru was still not an option. We made it out of the parking lot in one piece, thankfully. Whataburger just needs to shut it down in seguin. They're either incapable of hiring competent employees or don't care. I asked for my burger with no cheese and it came with cheese even though it said no cheese on my receipt. I will give them credit for having fresh fries and getting my drink right but the dining room was also closed and the line was too long to go back through so I couldn't get a new burger. read more

Awesome smile, very welcoming, excellent service- asked if we needed refills, delivered our food promptly, and handled a question about our receipt very well. You can tell she pays very close attention to the floors in the lobby and looks like she pays close attention to the tables with sanitizer. Wait, wait, wait. I personally never order food for myself at this Whataburger, but my daughter wants to eat this fast food everyday if she could. It is always very busy. We are usually in line 20-30 minutes every time we order through the drive through. This morning, we called the order in hoping to get in and out fast. When we pulled up, only 1 car in drive through. I thought, great, we will be in and out. WRONG. Not only was the order not ready after calling it in 10 minutes prior, they made us pull up and wait. You guessed it, another 20 minutes. I do order from McDonalds around the corner. They always have the food waiting at the window when you get there. I've stopped by the drive through more than a few times recently in the last month and the service, speed, and taste have always been relatively good.
