Burger's at whatabugers in Sugar Land and surrounding areas are just burgers like any other burger but if you're looking to get a real whatabuger similar to the way they used to be back in the 70s go to the one in Wharton Tx, on 59 N. Used to live here. Gone downhill in a major way. After waiting 15 minutes, went to the manager and explained Kids wearing a Wharton shirt who ordered after me got served 5 minute before me said oh your order got lost. When I got back to my hotel fries were soggy, stale and luke warm. Had to go back to store, manager told me he cannot give me a refund because he was fixing my order. I sent 35 minutes getting and coming back to the store to get food and was told he can fix it no discount or give me my correct order at full price. Waiting over an hour to get my food, stood at the front to ask what was going on and was ignored for 10 minutes.

We used the app to place an online order for the first time. This was about 6:50pm on a Friday as we rolled into town off of a 2.5 hr drive.The drive thru had both lanes full, they were slammed. Not only did we get our order fast, it was 100% accurate, 4 orders, each perfect. I had my mind set on the ol' number 5, all the way, extra mayo, add grilled jalapeno and this thing hit the spot. Where I live now and change in travel means I'm not around a Whataburger often, these fine folks really came thru with a perfect order and fast, courteous service for me and an inpatient family. read more
