    Great vintage clothing store at 342 Orange street Redlands california. Always fully stocked with men's and women's vintage clothing

    With how beautiful and historic downtown Riverside is, this shop is a disappointment…read more Many of the items sold in the store are items from Walmart, Home Goods and other department stores that have a 'rustic' or 'vintage' look. The owner is purchasing and upselling (up to triple the price from the department store). The owner does sprinkle some antiques around the store but the items are overpriced. It's also kind of weird that the owner has a huge photograph of herself behind the cashier counter. Not a fan of this store when there are plenty of other stores worth shopping at walking distance.

The…read moreyoung woman at the outside table was friendly, and I was drawn to the botanical posters of mushrooms. She indicated there were more botanicals in the store of mushrooms - so I entered. I got about a third of the way into the store, admiring the wide array of vintage food craft tools - when I came upon the prominent display of the T-shirt "Try that in a small town". Knowing that this is a racist T-shirt advocating the lynching of African-Americans I realized that it was an intentional statement to black and brown people so I immediately left the store and wrote this second review. The first review was removed by Yelp because I gave it five stars. That's why I adjusted it to one star. Presently no one should patronize the store if they have a conscience and are wanting to make the world a better place.
