I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

The…read morereceptionist(s)/this office only cares about acquiring new patients and do not do the due diligence to inform patients about accepting their insurance. I went there multiple times and not once did they share with me that I was actually out of network, I had to find out by contacting my insurance company to check on the specific claim. I went in a total of two times, first was a regular cleaning, second time was a follow up/filling. They DID NOT once mention to me that they are actually out of network for my coverage. They had at least 3 opportunities to tell me that they are not in network for my insurance plan. 1) The first visit upon going into the office I gave the receptionist my insurance card and they input all my info and should have seen the in/out network info; 2) when I was paying for my cleaning and scheduling my second appt for filling they could have warned me about charges due to them being out of network for me; 3) my second visit before I went in for dental work or afterwards when I had to pay, I specifically asked why the cost was so high (close to $200) for two basic fillings and they said they had to check with insurance, but they should have seen their out of network status was the reason for the cost. They even continue to schedule my next appt for me in 6 months. For people who several hundred dollars makes a huge difference in their budget, this would be a devastating experience, so please beware if you're new or existing customer that's been wondering why you've been getting high dental bills!

I was seen promptly when I arrived and felt more relaxed in just a few minutes. Dr. Gamson is gifted - finding common interests to distract patients in a charming manner - and at the same time explaining what he is doing and what to expect. Also, it's clear he's a top notch expert when it comes to root canals. I had no pain during the procedure - just a bit of sting with the shots. The root canal immediately addressed the radiating pain. I was so relieved that an experience I expected to be horrible was not - and I enjoyed Dr. Gamson's charming chatter, which distracted me from my fears. The office staff was efficient and helped me understand the insurance coverage situation. Also, the office and treatment rooms have unique art displayed that I enjoyed learning about. Dr. Yelamanchi looked at me for 1 min, said "yes, you need a root canal, but unfortunately I don't have the time to do it now so you'll need to schedule another appointment." What a joke. That was the whole point of the appointment - to get the root canal. Does he not realize that patients have jobs and can't just take days off work for no reason? Consulting doctor recommended nitrous oxide sedation for my anxiety, which the other doctor then tried to talk me out of as he is inexperienced working with patients under sedation. The office staff did not explain the costs fully and told me that part of the cost of the procedure would be "written off" which was not reflected on my statement and I am waiting to find out if this is true or if I will be billed for this portion. His office staff were professional and helpful. The office itself is spotlessly clean and the procedure room has a floor to ceiling window with a beautiful view. All of these things matter to me. I was in his office four times and each time I heard the patient before me praising and thanking Dr. Hsu, profusely. It wasn't long before I was one of them.
