The fried rice is so good! You can taste the garlic butter that's used to seasoned the rice. It's a great combination of buttery and savory. I love the minced up carrots and onions in the rice, it gives it great texture. The veggies are always cooked to perfection! I love the slight char the vegetables get from the hot grill. The zucchini and broccoli have a slight crunch to them and is not overcooked. The egg rolls were fried to a perfect golden brown. Crunchy and savory. The crab rangoons are my favorite! There's more than just cream cheese in the middle! You can taste the extra goodies in there, crab and green onion. The wrapping to cream cheese ratio is great! Paired with the sweet and sour sour, chef's kiss! It's always busy at the food truck. Everything is made fresh to order. Staff is always friendly. So we stayed on 12th Ave. until we saw the Taqueria Vida truck in the Rescue Mission Thrift Store parking lot. Their truck was brightly colored, easy to spot, and looked nice (not busted up like some do). The truck was parked in the corner of the lot with 2 wood picnic tables and good shade. I was so happy to see they had lengua (cow tongue) on the menu. Their tacos were $1.50 each and the lengua ones were delicioso! (I get mine without cilantro or else they would look prettier.) Radishes, grilled onions, lime, and a grilled jalapeno were a nice addition. This place was clean, well-priced, and delicious. We also had pork tacos - the adobada was really good, as was the burrito with adobada pork, rice, beans, onions and cilantro.
