They scanned it and changed injectors. It didnt fix the problem(3 weeks just on that) then they'll find the problem. Say they can get it done in three weeks but thats not including the one week of vacation they take once a month. They gave us three separate finish days (3 fridays apart) and they did seem to get the bent rod replaced and fixed but havent even had it one month yet and have had three fuel lines bust because they didnt torque them down correctly. I am a diesel mechanic but a tow truck driver first. If I knew they were going to take one week off a month for vacation and not even fully diagnose the problem not to mention cause me other issues I would of just took the loss of work and fixed it my self. We live 30 miles away. We took it to them because they told us they could have it fixed in no time. I've lost too much work over them not finishing the job correctly. If you got a personal diesel and you dont mind it sitting in the shop for 3-4 months and fixing your own smaller issues later they might be a good pick but if you run a business do not let them fool you.

I explained both issues in detail to the manager, who quoted me $1,299 for the CV axle job and agreed to call me if costs would exceed that. No one called. Instead, I received an invoice for $736.80 that didn't even include the CV axle work I came in for. I was charged $345 for a "diagnostic" on a problem I had already identified and explained, and a $20 washer was turned into a $307 brake hose replacement I never authorized. The work order mischaracterized what I told them -- they wrote "brakes spongy" and "axle is making noise," neither of which I said. Their own authorization form states they cannot charge for work you did not authorize. Be very careful here and get everything in writing.
