I brought my 2018 S560 to Wheel techniques regarding all 4 bent rims as per Mercedes. I was complaining about a lot of vibration. I also had curb rash on all 4 wheels. Efran did an amazing job! He was able to give me an appropriate and fair quote for the refinishing. A few days later and the wheels came back looking shinier than they've ever been!! They were able to get the light curb rash fixed and diamond cut the edges. They also fixed the cracks they had and made them true again. Previous owner was running run-flats and didn't check tire pressures. Now that they're repaired, I don't think these will have an issue again. So far they're holding up well, which is what Ive come to expect from Wheel Techniques! read more

I can't express enough how satisfied I was with my experience with Wheel Techniques. Returning home on 880 from a poker tournament in Sacramento I heard a horrific thud, then my sensor lights indicated I had a flat on my rear right. Given is was 3am, I limped the car home for the mile I was away. I ordered a new tire and awaited its arrival only to be informed by my tire guy that my wheel was mangled. He spun my wheel on the balancing machine and it was shaped like an egg as well as a twist that made the wheel shift inside to out. What on earth did I hit on the freeway that evening? Then come to learn that my 22" Forgiato wheel was discontinued and Forgiato would charge me $3k to custom make me a replacement. What a complete nightmare. I took my wheel to A1 welding in Oakland who have done lip repair in the past for me and they did a terrible job on the wheel and worse, handed the wheel back to me as finished and charged me $220 assuming I wouldn't know the wheel wasn't close to true. To their credit, they ended up giving me a full refund and recommended a shop in Walnut Creek called Riteway Wheel because they had the correct equipment. Drove there only to be informed that my wheel was bent at the hub and a repair was impossible. I was resigned to my fate that I was stuck with a set of three useless wheels. As a last ditch effort after doing a Google deep dive, I read great things about Wheel Techniques and thought I'd try a Hail Mary and call them. I described the issue and to my surprise, they said bring the wheel and that they were 90% sure they could get the wheel close enough to use. Guess what? Not only did they repair the wheel to 95% of original condition, they have in house tire mounting and Powdercoating services! These guys are true pro's, with a positive "can do" attitude with no whining and long faces about how you're out of luck like the other spots. Save yourself a ton of time and go here first. read more
