At a significant cost to them, they reworked the finish, keeping me in contact throughout the process. I have been working with ray and wheel werks for years and spent thousands I know I over pay here but I come back due to good service and work and that's all gone. FYI they charge way more for any tire then discount tire or tire rack. Labor to put on spacers double then anyone else but I was ok to pay this today is I would if kept coming back. This is a lesson in customer service for wheel werks. Today after calling to look into placing an order with ray I called to let him know that I did not want to do tires just the other products. He told me I have to pay for the shipping both ways but he will do the rest I was shocked, he demands 150 bucks from me in case he has to pay shipping to return the tires and keep in mind I'm overpaying already. I approached it calm I said Ray If you could just not charge me for that I'd appreciate since we both know your still making money and I've been a customer for years, his response I'm not making enough now only 100 dollars well that was a lie. I declined I let him know ray I'm a great customer this is the service I get from you so I canceled the entire order upon him telling me I'm paying shipping for everything and this could of been handled by him treating me right eating shipping if he was even paying that much but no business from me now and not in the future I don't work with company's that will turn there back on you and treat you like a number over 150$ after years of loyalty. There are many options out there Ray you lost a great one and probably more being greedy for a tiny piece you lost the entire pie. read more

These guys are great. I called at lunch time asking about a staggered wheel set up in a particular brand and they had the wheels and tires within two hours. I paid over phone, drove in, they did all the work while I sat in the car due to covid-19. Would definitely recommend them read more

Kelly and his team were able to fix our rim that seemed to be dented which caused our tire to lose air on our road trip to California that started in Chicago! We had to change the tire in the middle of nowhere and drive on the donut until we made it 30+ miles back into town. Holy guacamole, these guys charge a lot for changing out winter tires. They were really cool in winter 2017, and helped us find a good budget friendly option for snow tires. A different guy helped us back then. This past winter my experience was bad. Not coming back here again. Just because someone drives a luxury brand vehicle doesn't mean they're made of money. I worked very hard for my car and I'm still paying off student loans. I can't afford to pay such high labor costs for a change out. From now on storing my tires myself and taking them elsewhere for change outs. Other places I've taken my car for service in SLC were a lot less condescending. I'm a Mechanical Engineer and I know my car inside and out - and I know a thing or two about tires, my dad is a gearhead & taught me everything he knows. read more

Mike told me exactly what it would take to fix the bent and cracked rims on my Audi S4. He managed my expectations perfectly and then exceeded them, both in terms of the outcomes and the time it took to get the work done. They are not touchy feely kind of guys and the shop is sort of a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, but they do awesome work at a great price if you need expensive rims fixed, powder coated, or painted. read more

Had corrosion on a 12 year old alloy wheel. Problems with a slow air leak, that my local tire shop couldn't fix. Wheel Works fixed it, for less than the cost of a used wheel (which I was having trouble finding anyway). Haven't had a leak since, even with two tire mounts. read more

I ran over a chunk of firewood with my Corvette that had fallen from a pickup directly in front of me and it damaged a rear wheel. The local Chevy dealer wanted over $1,200 for a replacement not including the cost of mounting and balancing the tire. A couple of friends suggested I contact Wheel Werks. They not only got my car in right away, they managed to repair, straighten and re-balance the wheel in the time it took me to walk to a nearby restaurant and eat lunch. To top it off, they charged me $50 less than the estimate because it didn't require as much labor to repair. Honest, efficient and incredibly skilled, these guys are as good as it gets!!! read more

These guys are absolutely fantastic! I have gone to them now for multiple repairs on my rims. I have been impressed with their work every time and the repairs are are unnoticeable to my friends unless I specifically point them in the right direction. I also find their their prices to be fair and reasonable to the point that anybody can afford to fix a blemished rim. Great work wheel werks! Got the tires Balanced but they broke a lug bolt and refused to take responsibility for it. That cost me over $200

Wheel Werks is now the only place I feel comfortable purchasing tires and wheels. I had purchased a set of tires and wheels from a "locally owned" chain store close to my home thinking I was in good shape because my last car had tires mounted by them. This time however the car was a higher end vehicle and I think the other store was lost. I purchased the other wheels and after driving off their lot came back twice before I could get any answer. Each time it took two hours to have them "check" it out. Finally they thought it might be missing a hub centric piece that was a "special order item" that they said "never happens before" I did a little Google search and found Wheel Werks and ask a few people I knew having similar cars and they recommended I call them and see if they had any advice. I called them close to 2:00PM on a Saturday and they said they would fit me in, they told me over the phone what the price would be and I walked in the door and less than a half hour later I left and the car was straight down the road with no issues. They had the part in stock and knew what they were doing. I will be back as long as they keep this level of service up. In talking with Mike and Jarod they really take pride in what they sell and do. Glad I found a wheel and tire shop that knows what they are doing. read more
