Wheeler's was a breath of fresh air after my family and I left another dining establishment in seek of sustenance. I felt a little bad showing up an hour before they closed, but the cheerful young man at the counter was happy to take our order and get us taken care of. The burger and fries were terrific and the milkshake was amazing. I ordered a salad (boring, I know) but I really enjoyed it. I'd be happy to return and try other menu items again. Yum! read more

Nice spot for a quick stop on your way through town. Food was alright, and where we were expecting or hoping to get something a little more "diner" style for our money, it was obviously something simply reheated and slapped together. Sad also that they provide very small dipping sauces, and then charge additional money for the same small cups; felt ripped off. We order a large fry, which would be roughly the size of a medium or small that you get from McDonalds served on a plate and about the same quality. Would have given less stars, but they did have a very good shake, and that was a redeeming product. Staff is all very young with what appeared to be no adult on site, and were busy gossiping and discussing things outside of work while behind the counter, which was distracting a rude. read more

There are not many restaurants in Mt. Pleasant anymore so Wheeler's Drive-in is unfortunately one of the few options. The food is ok, but unremarkable. You can order from the drive-up or eat inside, but either way, it's usually a long wait from order to first bite. read more

Service is slow, we went thru there drive thru paid and then asked to pull forward to the side and we waited 15 minutes for our food When our food arrived is was not even fresh. Large fries were small and the burger was soggy. So disappointed Thru it out the window read more

My kids say they are the best fries in the county. Of course they like to dip them in their yummy chocolate shakes.

I ordered a Pastrami Burger and a small curly fry. The small fry was seriously smaller than what comes in the kids meal. The Pastrami Burger wasn't bad but it definitely did not meet expectations. I thought the price was a little high when I placed the order, then after my family all got their meals I realized the price was higher than it should be for what we got. If I go back, in the future, it would probably just be for ice cream and I haven't tried that yet. read more

Just to be straight up, we're not looking for anything here, nor do we have any ulterior motives. We had a gathering in Mount Pleasant last Thursday and one of the guys wanted to buy lunch for the group. He went down to Wheeler's and bought us all hamburgers and fries. Needless to say 24 hours later we were all barfing up our toenails and it lasted all weekend. Still weak and recovering today as a matter of fact. The only common denominator we have concluded was that these hamburgers were the cause of it all. We were from different households and were only together on that one day for that one meal. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone anyway, because the burgers have always been really soggy and subpar, but in light of what just happened, we felt compelled to put a warning out there. Fortunately, we are all young in age. The crew really needs to get it together over there and take their food handling seriously. If an older person had gone through what we have it may have sent them to the hospital. read more

The best place for a burger or chicken sandwich in Sanpete county as far as I'm concerned.....Sorry grandma :-( They always have a lunch special which is always good but my favorites are their bacon burger or their Malibu chicken sandwich. Their fries are especially goodbye when you ask them to put seasoning salt on them and you dip them in fry sauce. I always look forward to eating at Wheelers when ever I'm in Mount Pleasant. Update- Last time I ate there I had a server who was not very nice. The place was really busy with kids from the local private school so I understand be stressed and frustrated. I complimented the food and told then thanks as I asked for a to go container for my grandma. The girl at the counter didn't even respond she just threw the container and turned away and walked off. I was surprised by the attitude she gave me. I guess when you're the only show in town you can get by with a bad attitude. Sad. read more

Service is okay but inconsistent. Food is overpriced and not great quality, sometimes it's a long wait. Overall okay, but I'd recommend maybe going somewhere else just based on price. Their shakes are also okay, but again, not a great use of your money. A lot of times they don't put enough flavoring in the shakes so it's mostly just vanilla soft serve. I came to the restaurant with a group. I ordered second out of 20 people. My order wasn't particularly difficult unless a regular cheeseburger just isn't your thing. As I sat down waiting watching all the other people's orders being brought to them my hunger continued to grow. I decided after many being ignored for so long I better find out what was going on. I walked up to the counter and was about to let them have it but they interrupted me saying "cheeseburger with cheese right?" The pure absurdity of the question gave me pause and so I just nodded and they picked it up on a plate and handed it to me. And guess what it was cold. Now I wonder how could they not bring out my food to me just like they did to every single other person in the room. The burger wasn't even worth the hassle. It was soggy and disgusting. This restaurant is so horridly mediocre. I must warn all in the area about the evils of wheelers. Never EVER eat there! We've tried Wheelers many times and they can never get our order correct. They either put sauce on a burger/sandwich that was ordered with no sauce or give fries when we've paid for an upgrade. They will not get another dime of our money after we stopped there last week to get shakes. Which means we will return and get the best burger ever! Service great, clean restroom, and the food great, great. ive had multiple experiences of the waitresses being extremly rude and the service takes forever. when i go up to order, ive had to stand there for 5 minutes because no one would help me but all the waitresses were standing there socializing and not helping a customer. its a shame that there arent many other places to eat in mount pleasant so im not forced to only be able to eat at the rude establishment. read more

They have some pretty good burgers but the service was horrible. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for my food only to discover they gave my burger to another customer. The other person ate my burger but they were kind enough to give me their own. There are other restaurants in town that I'd rather go to who have better food and much better service. read more
