This is the clamp you would have to take apart!

I've since figured out how to disable the kill switch bs. There are wires underneath your steering wheel column they are green and orange they are connected together by a clamp I'm assuming it's hooked up to the engine.. you can take the clamp apart that will allow your engine to start up however it does not turn off the noise. Do what you want with this information, be mindful that this is voiding the contract but I do understand how hard it is to get to work and make things happen when you have someone restricting your ability to move around especially after paying THOUSANDS for a vehicle. OH AND BEFORE Allan come here talking bs I uploaded my payment history it is PERFECT (chefs kiss) LOL but for some reason I still had to figure out how to start my DISABLED vehicle!!! Don't do business with them guys!

We walked into the showroom ready to purchase a vehicle, with cash in hand, only to be told that they actually close at 7 PM and that all of the salespeople had already gone home. Interesting concept: apparently the posted business hours are more of a suggestion than actual business hours. If your sales department closes at 7 PM, perhaps consider posting 7 PM as the closing time. It's a pretty simple concept, and it might prevent customers from wasting nearly four hours round-trip driving to a dealership that apparently isn't interested in selling vehicles during the hours it claims to be open. We were ready to buy. Instead, we got to drive home empty-handed because someone couldn't be bothered to make sure the hours were accurate. Great way to lose a sale before the customer even gets a chance to shop.

I just wanted to come back on here after our most recent service and leave a better review. They got rid of a lot of the people I had problems with and it honestly feels like things here improved a lot! I'm also writing this review to say that Jocelyn Nava is our go to service agent. Working with her is always pleasant because she truly displays great customer service skills. I'm glad to see that she still works here and a lot of the people who exuded bad energy are gone. It was also nice that they washed my Rav 4. I appreciate that a lot. Service has improved immensely.

I already have some reservations with this place because of their owners questionable political leanings (feel free to google him), but the thing that kept me in the contract was the service work that they did. That ended today. I came in and somehow left with over $400 in charges to fix up my car. While this might be small potatoes to most, I do have a service contract. On top of that, they charge for "shop supplies" and have a 3% credit card fee. I asked them to explain "shop supplies" and they really couldn't. Since I had to get to work and didn't want to argue over $38, I accepted it this time. They used to be really hands on with the customers and really walk them through the process so that everybody felt valued. I saw the Rep once when I walked in and she just went through the motions. No more updates, texts, anything. From now on, I will be bringing my car in for oil changes only. I will not be spending another cent more. If the will refund me the remaining part of my contract, I will go to the Toyota dealership a little closer to my house that is not part of this group.

This review is for a used Tesla I bought from them on Saturday Aug 29, 2026…read more Overall great service and great experience. What made me say this? My salesman, Albert Krolik, was very relaxed. No hard sales ever. I had lots of questions about the car before I bought, and he always said not to worry. We will find the answer and address all issues. And he did! When it came to addressing my issues, the service manager - whose name I forget apologies! - who was Albert's boss was very cordial. Again no hard sales. He listened to my requests and didn't hesitate to agree to them. Shook hands and said he would address them all. We would get it all in writing not to worry. (Previous car purchase at another dealership I felt I was fighting with them. And turned out I got a bad tire that wouldn't hold air and the car wasn't even washed. I guess the bar was pretty low honestly at this point.) Something else I didn't have to fight with them over was my trade-in. I was getting a great $ from Carvana for my used car. I had also asked gemini what I would need to get on trade-in to make it the same so I had that number in my back pocket. When they sized up my trade-in they gave me exactly that number that I needed. (Again previous dealership I had to fight them for the right $.) So again no fighting they were great. Final hurdle was financing. I got a great APR % that I was sure they wouldn't be able to match from penfed. Albert said, you know let's run it and see what we can do. And you know what, they BEAT that APR %! What place gives you a BETTER rate than you were getting elsewhere! I was prepared to go with penfed even if they just matched but that was taken out of my hands. Thanks to France the finance person there. They cleaned up my car so well, inside and out. Won't hesitate to return should I need another car in the future.

Got there and was told that the only thing they had was a routine maintenance and oil change. I wondered aloud what kind of supposedly professional service place would forget to annotate the services the customer requested. The guys said he fixed it and I was on my way. When I came back to pick it up I paid for the punctured tires only which didn't surprise me because I get free maintenance and oils change with my car purchase. Cool. This morning I turned my car on and it said, "Maintance is required." WTF?!!' Searched my service receipts. These incompetent beings didn't do an oil change! Half of my Saturday wasted get my car in the shop without the actual maintenance being done! I will drive farther from now on to go to a better Toyota than this joke of a service department!

But when I had a known defect, and it cost me $2,000 to fix on the road at a dealer (and 2 nights hotel over a weekend after being towed from middle of nowhere), they just lied. They promised to get back to me. I understand being busy, so I waited for salesman to return call. Then I escalated to manager on duty when I stopped in store (and returned their inventory control fobs). No response after 4 phone calls. Then I escalated to Sales manager. Promise to resolve and work with service manager. Multiple calls later no response since before Memorial day. We are now well past 4th of July and looking hard at Labor Day. Even if they would not honor the problem, I asked if they would reach out to Subaru of America on my behalf to see they support. So 2.5 out of 5 for commitment to customer. The part that really frustrated me is they screwed up filling my license plate transfer for 3 months that they charged for. That set me up for an Deerfield cop with ALPR to give me a ticket that took me hours and hours of time at: - the Secretary of State, - talking to my insurance company, - talking to McGrath (at various levels and waiting for someone else to be in 'tomorrow'), - talking to my lawyer, - calling Springfield office of Secretary of State, and - a whole day to drive up to Waukegan for the ticket costing me more gas, tolls and a day of work. So 1 out of 5 for following their contracted, legal, fiduciary duty to file paperwork with State of Illinois (by simple computer website). I hate seeing a License plate holder from any of the McGrath dealerships on cars around Chicagoland. TLDR: They lie and don't follow up to their commitments.
