Coffee after hike today! Got a caramel iced latte. It was excellent! We ordered at the window and it wasn't busy at all. Tasty coffee after hiking. Definitely a good place to stop when in Homewood.

Super cute coffee spot in Tahoma. They're in a mini shopping center so there's a handful of parking spots. They've got a few chairs and picnic tables outside for seating. We frequented the to-go window but you can also order inside. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered the beetroot lattes (hot) because I e never heard of it and thought it had to be a unique sip. It doesn't come sweetened so we added honey. We also ordered a vanilla latte (iced). All of our drinks tasted good and quality was consistent for the week we came. The only opportunity is that for iced drinks they serve paper straws and they degrade quickly; a sip lid might be a consideration.

We stumbled upon this tiny coffee shop our first morning in Tahoe, and found it relatively busy on a Saturday morning. However, the line to order at the window moved quickly. I got an Iced Honey Latte and my boyfriend got a Hot CBD Honey Latte, and both were ready in about 10 minutes. I really liked my drink, even though most of the honey syrup was concentrated at the bottom of the cup. The CBD Latte was good too, and my boyfriend said he could really feel the effects. Overall, a cute little place with decent coffee!

This is their closed sign. Why do they need an electric fence? Are there cows seeking to get to the gelato?

Hours for this place are BS. I was here at 4:55pm on a Tuesday & they were not open. No sign No hours posted. Really bummed since I rode a bike from Squaw Valley here just for the gelato & espresso.

Local gelato and coffee house in the small city of Tahoma CA that offers homemade daily gelato that melts in your mouth. They also have great coffee and mixed coffee drinks. The real bonus here is you can order your coffee or gelato and within minutes be staring at one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Downside - the gelato is made daily and runs out, don't be a slacker it's made with natural ingredients from Tahoe's local farmers market!

The first few times we went, we really enjoyed the coffee and the gelato. Then we met the owner. What a sour Puss. I've never met somebody that works for such an establishment, be so bitter and angry for no reason. It's really sad because the energy that she carries is also the energy that she puts into her coffee and gelato. Hopefully, after reading this, she realizes that her customers aren't so bad. They're simply trying to give her money!

A regular stop on our walks back to the cabin!

We have been stopping here in the summer on our way back from the beach or a hike since it opened. They make their gelato fresh daily and have many different flavors available. It is within walking distance of our vacation rental cabin, Two Morrows Tahoe Cabin.

Iced honey latte (note all the unmelted honey on the bottom)

Not many coffee options around here. Good coffee and gets the job done, but don't expect anything revolutionary.

Great coffee drinks but the gelato is amazing! I just wish she made more! It tends to run out before 7:00 in the evenings.

We agreed that the Cuban took the cake but both had lots of flavor to offer. Then for our sweet tooth, the cowboy cookie & oatmeal cranberry toffee cookie. Both were delicious, crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. S E R V I C E Great! Quick, efficient and we got our food out pretty quick considering the lines were crazy at that time. We went around 11 but there was still lots of places to sit and enjoy our food outside. A M B I E N C E One of the many cute market/delis that are here on the west shore of Tahoe. They got a little market with groceries, wine/beer, and goods. A coffee/bake house counter and outdoor seating area that's both shaded and not. If a patron tells you they lost their credit card it's likely they're in distress. And if someone is looking unhappy (or just seems that way) it could simply be that circumstances "caught up to them" on that one or two days you saw them in your store. Treating them like shit because they're in trouble is aweful in my opinion. Just one person there doing that, but she seems to be everywere there. Definitely not cool. Not the owner/manager. That person seems very professional, efficient and smart. Great place, but don't expect to think they care about you even if you spend a lot of money and keep to yourself. Not all of us are able to relax and have fun. Some of us, through no fault of our own, are in need of food and a break and a place to figure our next moves. It's not our fault that you are the only place nearby with food and internet!

The menu was an array of apps like Bao buns, guac and chips to birria beef rangoon, entree salads and burgers including a mushroom burger. They were a bit understaffed - one bartender and one server. Neither super friendly or forward with info - we had no clue on the flow or what and where to go. We figured it out, but clearly a bit of an issue. We ordered at the bar, but from a server, and then sat outside. The poke bowl, while a tad bland was hearty, filling and solid. The deep fried onions on top were a really nice touch, although I did feel like it was over the top salty - I ended up drinking like a gallon of water when I got home. The Bloody Mary was really good... so props on that drink, with a blue cheese olive and all. Overall, such a solid spot. Well designed, hip and a solid menu. I'd come again if I was in the 'hood. * bonus for some limited parking in the back lot.

Food was overall bad and soda was completely flat. I reached out to request a refund and they fucked up the amount refunded, while still charging me 22% gratuity LOL. This experience was a stain on an otherwise incredibly perfect weekend celebration in Tahoe. I had my 30th birthday dinner here and it was a terrible experience-- although NO fault of our direct waitstaff. They tried their best in a chaotic situation... IDK where the communication dropoff occurred. I submitted a request on Evo Hotel's contact form 3 weeks in advance to request a large party reservation and got in contact with their events coordinator, Alexis. While the restaurant doesn't typically accept reservations, she offered an event hosting fee to confirm our large party of (originally) 12. I agreed to the charge (BTW, which was $990.23 after taxes and service charges, and required $750 food/bev minimum). This included 22% gratuity. Signed a contract. Soooo I basically paid almost a grand in advance. For a table that's not even in a private room! I just wanted the peace of mind :-/ A day prior, I let Alexis know that my party size had changed to 11, and she responded that it had been updated. OK COOL, CONFIRMED RIGHT???? LMAO The night of, the staff were completely confused why our big ass group was saying we had a reservation because, again, THEY DON'T TAKE RESERVATIONS! Only when I mentioned ALEXIS and showed the contract on my phone, they basically scrambled to get us seated ASAP. Fortunately there was space, but the restaurant was nearly full... Imagine if I paid $1k to wait outside for an hour or something??? Waitstaff were very flustered and apologetic, and throughout our meal I had to reexplain the situation to different people, who each seemed even more confused than the last. Frankly, I would've considered another restaurant when we found out the reservation wasn't honored but 1.) I already paid and 2.) where tf am I going to seat 11 people on short notice who are hungry after a day of hiking and climbing?! The food was just... Not good. Some dishes were passable, but: - Soda was totally flat. Like you left it out on the porch in a hot day. - Guacamole was unseasoned... Basically CUBED avocado with no salt. It was so egregious this became a running joke in our group - Fried rice was SO salty and unpleasant - Chicken was undercooked in the salad... - Fries came out cold. - Poke was bland. Both fish and rice basically had no flavor The only thing that was good was probably the Seafood Pan Roast and cocktails. My friends got through the meal to kindly avoid worrying me on my 30th birthday, knowing I had been stressing about planning this weekend for the past three months... We only sent back the guacamole and soda, but SO much food was left on the table. Nobody took takeout boxes back or even considered getting dessert. On top of all this mess, they didn't even acknowledge that it was my birthday even after finding the contract LOL. The staff finally decided that the check was considered covered by my $990.23, so no addtl card was ran. Good thing we asked for the itemized total before we left, because it was actually $483 (before tip/tax). So WAAAAY below the food/beverage minimum. In good faith I fully expected us to exceed the minimum because we're all huge foodies! The night before, a group of 5 of us literally spent $400~ at Sylva... I reached out to Alexis after my trip and requested a refund. While apologetic, she only waived the $750 minimum, 3 items and the soda, and still charged me for 22% gratuity. PLEASE BE SO SERIOUS LMFAO. I'd still tip 15% for the hardworking waitstaff-- or whatever the typical restaurant large party auto-gratuity is-- but 22% for all this mess????? And then as if it couldn't be a bigger mess, her email wrote the refund was $462.32, but the new attached invoice listed $426.32. Girl. To her credit she also sent a $50 gift card but unfortunately there's no way I'm coming back. This is probably the most negative dining experience I've had in a long time... I was genuinely shocked. Sad bc my bf and I stayed at Evo in Utah and had a great experience, and hyped it up to our friends (they have a rock climbing wall and a skate park in that location!!!), so this was a big disappointment from start to finish. And you did it at my 30th bday dinner :-(
