First time at a Which Wich, and it's a little different, so we had to figure things out. No problem for the most part. I ordered their "signature sandwich", the Wicked, and no doubt it was a good sandwich, though I'd have preferred if it weren't toasted (nobody asked). Unfortunately, I've been to this Which Wich three times on a road trip and every time they have been extremely slow. I typically will wait 30 min each time, even if there's only one family there. I look around and everyone seems a little bothered too at their long wait. I thought it could have just been a bad day each time, but witnessing it the third time, I question their service. Placed order ahead of time, the employee was training another employee so service was a bit slow. However, the employees were so very nice and engaging that we didn't mind waiting and chatting. They confirmed one of the orders was for our dog- a rescue pittie- and asked to see her. We were passing through Dalhart and decided to order much through the app. When we pulled up about 10 mintues later they told us to pull forward as our order was not ready. So we did, about 20 mintues later after no one coming up to us we decided to pull through the drive through again. And waited and no one was coming to the window. Then my wife waved at an employee to come over to the window. Which come to find out was the manager, but she came to the window pulled down her face mask and started yelling at us telling us they were busy. After get yelled at we asked for a refund which triggered her more. While she was yelling at us an employe grabbed our order which was ready and just sitting there this whole time. And was about to hand us our order but she stopped him and told him no. Then I told her I was recoding her. So she took our card and came back trying to be nice with her face mask now pulled up. They i asked for contact information for her boss. As you don't freak out on costumers as she did. She told us his name but told us she couldn't give us a way to contact him. Just stopped for a quick lunch in Dalhart on our 10-hour road trip back to Austin from Colorado! What a pleasant oasis to discover for a healthier, delicious alternative to McDonald's, Sonic and DQ... I visited with the very pleasant employees and they told me they just opened July 3rd! The restaurant is clean, the food was fresh and we were very happy with our lunch. They do have a kids menu that includes PB&J, plain sandwiches, grilled cheese, etc... the kids meal also comes with carrots and apples! I had a turkey sandwich, add avocado and the crispy onions make that sandwich even more delicious! You can even order ahead on the app if you don't want to stop for too long! The restrooms were also very clean! We'll see you again next sunmer! UPDATE: I was reviewing my Yelp account which I haven't looked at in a long time and realized I left a great review for this restaurant... Ok seriously, how hard is it to get a simple order right? Ordered a Paleo club with added cheese. Got the exact opposite... a sandwich on white bread with NO cheese, no oil and vinegar, no avocado. Got sick clean but food isn't good they have a lot options but I can't seem to make the options good

There are very few good eating options on a 10.5 hour drive from Northern New Mexico to Dallas. We saw signs for a Subway in Dalhart and unenthusiastically resigned ourselves to eating there. But then we saw Which Wich. We hadn't eaten there before. Right when we walked in a friendly employee asked us if we'd eaten at a Which Wich before then proceeded to walk us through the menu and how to order. Excellent choices! We even had a vegetarian with us and were not at all confident we'd be able to find options for her (hence our original decision to compromise on Subway). We had a salad, a sandwich and a wrap. All three were excellent. Salad (Turkeywich add cheese) was so big that I put half of it in the ice chest and ate it when I got home that night. Vegetarian loved Which Wich! read more

I have a sever allergy to all fish/shell fish, and it is hard to find eateries that will go the extra mile for their customers with allergies. They stopped and announced to the staff of a food allergy order and one person was assigned my order. She immediately washed her hands before she changed into new gloves that had been set off to side for special orders, went and got new knives from the back (not from the clean knife stack by prep counter), labeled my sandwich bag to distinguish it from others and then bagged my order separately from the rest of my families order. Still, a 20 min wait for our order, so family went to the restroom and stretched, etc, since on a long road trip.
