Dr. Lemme let me know at our first few appointments that I had options other than pulling it for an expensive implant or putting on a pricey veneer!! I had always been told those were my choices. Anyway, I did the treatment (internal bleaching) over several office visits this past summer and have been absolutely thrilled with the result!!! Plus it was so inexpensive I honestly felt like I got triple the value of what I paid. Appointments have been easy to schedule, and I appreciate the text reminders. I had made a comment to the girl with pink hair oh they must have figured out the insurance, she ignored the comment and tried to get the machine to work to take X-rays but was having a hard time and could tell she wasn't happy. I was then brought to a room and more x-rays were taken by Emily! Then Dr Perry came in and had said he recommended pulling a tooth due to a cavity and the tooth being chipped and discussed the cost of removal without insurance applied and that he recommended coming back in a few days after I had some meds to relieve the swelling! When scheduling the front desk person who made the appointment said we can diagnose and fix same day when I brought that up it became an issue. I then had 4 different people come in back to back all saying something different then the next. After finally talking with the office manager they said come back at 2 and we will get it handled (my appointment was at 8am) when I returned at 1:30 to give them more insurance info as I have triple coverage, the front desk was trying to get ahold of insurance and I wasn't brought back until 2:30 where the front desk said they got ahold of one insurance and they will cover 75% I said fine I'll pay the rest and get reimbursed later from insurance! When I was in the room and had been numbed the Dr said I'll let that sit for a few minutes and be back. Well that turned to over 30 minutes because he had a meeting and no one could find him. I was then brought a form to sign for the operation basically if something goes wrong I can't blame them I thought that was weird cause I was already back and had been in the chair numbed! Then the office lady that said insurance would pay 75% came in and asked for the remainder of the balance and was over $100 more then discussed so I asked to have the office manager come in cause the math didn't align after spending 20 minutes talking to the office manager and getting everything figured out because they didn't tell me they were charging me $378 dollars for X-rays from the morning that I never signed for I gave the office manager my card and then she quickly came back saying now insurance won't cover anything because we didn't have pre authorization but was told everything was fine in the morning when I left! We finally came to an agreement that I would pay 25% today and they will try to figure out the insurance and if not they will send me a bill. This office is so disorganized it's not even funny but is very normal when half the people working there are family! The work that was done was good but the service was horrible. I didn't leave until 4:30pm and all that was done was X-rays in the morning and a single tooth removed in the afternoon! They will tell you whatever you want to hear but not the truth, this goes for everyone even DR Perry who didn't tell me I had an infection in the tooth I found out from a pharmacist cause I had to go get meds when I left in the morning for them to even see me in the afternoon! His skill at pain control is absolutely the best, I had all of my teeth pulled, and had less pain both immediately and overall, then any dental experience. I had such anxiety I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it, but he taught me techniques I am now using in daily life. Late August: My oral care is one of my best things about me, my mouth is so clean and I feel like a new person, like the mythical phoenix who rose from the ashes. Dental work that is absolutely needed and not cheap. For a business that claims "Every team member has been carefully selected and trained to provide compassionate care and ensure a positive, comfortable experience during your visit" this doesn't seem to hit the mark. My initial complaint was lack of financing options for families and the receptionist told me she would call back by end of day to let me know if there was anything that could be done. Instead, the call returned was from the office manager cancelling our appt due to the "threat" that I mentioned writing a review or talking to the community. That's exactly how I worded it. No threats. Now instead of receiving any customer service, I am writing a valid review about how inappropriate it is to cancel a minors appt because the mother suggests she is unhappy. We as military families are stationed here with limited options and finding out there are ZERO payment plan options for high cost procedures besides delayed care or taking out credit (that may not be approved for everyone) was shocking. Most dentists that I know offer SOME form of payment options. I did not find this to be the case here. Lack of affordability aside, this review was solely triggered based on the egregious cancellation. A complaint is not a "threat" and using that as an excuse to cancel a medical appointment that a minor needs is something worth reporting.
