When a tech came out after 3 days of waiting (it was 30 degrees outside) he claimed he fixed the system and it was "fully operable". It lasted 5 days and went out again. Again they took their time coming out even though we were again within heat or hot water - for going on 10 days. We are in our 80's and this was unacceptable at best. A tech came out but could not fix the heating system - he was not sure what was wrong. My impression was that Barron should be able to repair a system they installed! Long story short - called a different company - they came out - diagnosed a bad heat pump and had the system up and running in 2 days!! Not happy about this kind of service.

Lawrence at Kingdom Electric arrived the next morning and quickly diagnosed the problem and had it all fixed in short order. He glanced out our kitchen window and noticed Christmas lights on the porch and asked if there was a plug-in outlet outside on the porch. There was and the recent rain was dripping down the cord and setting off the GFCI, just like it is supposed to do. Lawrence wrapped all the exposed plug connections outside to avoid further problems. I so appreciated his quick response to a household without all kitchen power for Christmas. The next day, I spent three hours on the phone with KitchenAid who informed me there was no one in the area who could fix the microwave/oven; although, we could call a KitchenAid certified repair company in Mount Vernon. I call them, and they said they don't repair anything they didn't initially install. Really? I decided to call Broadview Appliance not knowing whether they repaired KitchenAid appliances. The gist of the two-minute call with Broadview was "No problem. We can come out in three days." Sure enough, AJ, the appliance magician, showed up a few days later and immediately assessed the issue, sharing that not only would it be no problem to get the parts, but it would cost significantly less than the Mount Vernon company had estimated it would cost. The snow delayed AJ having to install the parts, but as promised, our microwave/oven was repaired and running smoothly before Christmas.
