Groups can congregate in the lounge-y areas but the feel is remarkably different depending on where one choses to hang. On a beverage front, there is no shortage of quality drinks to be had. The cocktails are well made and not expensive; the bartenders do a good job of making sure each drink carries a certain kind of potency before leaving the bar. The happy hours are lovely as well, combined with a good deals ($5 shot + beer special, $5 cocktails, etc.) and even better hours (2-8pm!). Lastly, I appreciate a good name. Bad Old Days can be interpreted in many facets, but I think this establishment prides itself on good company and somehow rewards us with simple, good drinks. My boyfriend loved talking sports with a few and deep diving into their love and hate for the Mets! The bartender mentioned that there was supposed to be a vintage market that was cancelled because of the rain. There is food pop ups as well and live music. This recent Friday was four live acts and for FREE. We made our return to our new fave spot. It did not disappoint. The place was packed but not annoying. People were chill. Age range from 25-40 maybe. The first guy playing is from Austin, Bubba Lucky also designed the flyer for the event. The second act, Patton Magee was a three piece. A perfect Friday night hang for sure. Country is back in the best way. This is the kinda bar I was searching for in Nashville. I'm glad it's here in Queens.
