I feel like they are very deceiving on their warranty offerings. It says all over their website 3 year 36k mile warranty, in multiple spots. But buried in the installation pdf's lies one very important piece of information... the warranty starts with the vehicles in service date. Yeah I was pretty disappointed to hear I paid for a warranty that already had 2 years go by, essentially they charged me for a warranty period that was in the past. Oh and they said over the phone that you cannot prorate the unused portion and get a refund but failed to show it in writing, I am still waiting. Hopefully this helps someone in the future!!! So many shady people out there. Hey Whipple why not put that on the site where people can see it? Oh probably because you cant rob people out of their money. Karma will find its way. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!!! customer of mine spends 10k on a kit made on 9-24, some things dont fit, since the supplied instructions were 10 months old (as per chuck they sold 1500 of these kits, in a month ? that come with 10 month old instructions) i call tech support to get a nice surprise to hear that if you want tech support you have to spend half a day emailing back and forth if you have any questions, to top it off the only dept that has a active phoneline is sales..... only there to answer the phone to sell and give 2 shits about tech support. Hello, I would strongly recommend that you not purchase a Whipple Supercharger for your car. I had a full Whipple supercharger kit installed on my 2022 Dodge Charger Scatpack in December 2022 and recently began to notice a knocking, Rattling noise emanating from the supercharger blower. I didn't buy the extended warranty so Whipple only provides a 1 year warranty on the supercharger and my warranty expired 6 months ago. So now I have my car sitting at an authorized Whipple retailer in Charleston, SC and the supercharger blower will have to be shipped back for repair or replacement. I'll find out soon. I paid $8,300 for this part and it lasted for 1 year before it started to fail. Supposedly, Whipple is the best, but in my experience, they have failed miserably in providing a quality product. I am looking at $5,000 to $10,000 in repairs. So, I would recommend you strongly not to purchase anything from Whipple. Every time I call for an update, the response is "we are waiting for the tech to walk from the shop to the office to give us an update." When I ask if they can walk back to the shop from the office to ask them, it's a simple no. I had to make a tough choice, sending overseas my ECM for repair to Whipple from Greece/Europe...trusting the guys in Whipple was my only choice to get my unit repaired. And, it paid off. The tech guys found the problem, shipped the part back in time and my Mercruiser 350 MAG is back on the water. Even if 7.000mi away the communication was precise and prompt. whipple is the worst company to buy anything. the supercharger has never worked and any business with no tech support is a waste of money. i wish i left it stock. they sell it to you and forget about you. never had any response / answers to complete the installation after i paid blackbjack thousands to install it . the first time i drove it overheated it if you accelerate for 5-10 secounds, or just try reaching the freeway speed limit. if you do not back off the throttle until it cools off in about 1-2 minutes. then you can try and get back to the speed limit unless it is up hill. then it takes a few times. buy a factory supercharger never whipple read more

I spent over $2000 on a system and I got a defective rubber grommet that kept throwing codes on my truck when I asked them to help me out They charge me $18 delivery charge for the grommet They would not help me out what so ever for a two or three dollar piece. read more

They do not stand by the product sold a bad supercharger with bearing issues and will not stand behind it.. said we can send it back and they will rebuild it for a starting price of 1500 after they inspect it for 250 but we have to pay for shipping... so all the performance shops out there look elsewhere because there are many others out there..... read more

Tech Service was marginal. They won't offer a phone number or real person with whom to communicate. It's all emails. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.... I installed a Whipple supercharger on my MerCruiser 350 magnum boat engine in April of 2021. and it has not run correctly since. after a year of jumping through hoops, driving back and forth to test (because it must be something I did) at Whipples request I took apart the entire wire harness and checked every circuit and every connection, removed the supercharger to OHM check injectors, installed O2 sensors and purchased a handheld O2 sensor monitor ($1000.00) purchased Techmate Scan tool ($600.00) raised and lowered fuel pressures. endless tedious inspections while emailing the results every time and receiving more test or inspections including engine readings for every 500 RPMs, Finally, after literally 1 year of struggling to get the engine to run correctly. Whipple Supercharges requested I send the ECM back for needed adjustment. they had it for 4 weeks and said the information that I been sending was not what they needed and returned the ECM without any reprograming. At this point Whipple Supercharges has won. I don't want to deal with their customer service anymore, and I don't want to miss another summer so I'm installing an aftermarket engine management system. read more

When I chose to add a supercharger to my $70000 jeep , I was not about to compromise on either of those. Whipple has been a leading name in the performance industry for years and their reputation preceded them. It seemed like an easy decision to me. I have had my SC in my car for a bit now and couldn't be more pleased. The support Dustin Whipple has extended to me has renewed my faith in people. He has been quick to respond to any questions or concerns I have had. Typically responding to my emails within minutes. I wish I could say that about other industries but that just isn't the case. Worst company ever! Refused to help me with an error that they made. Long story short I purchased a supercharger from eBay, the seller drop shipped the supercharger from them and they sent me an incorrect handheld tuner... The speed shop spent hours on the phone with Whipple and bully dog to find out Whipple sent me the incorrect tuner. This Cost me money and time for THIER ERROR!!! I called them and they said I had to go through the seller, so I did and they don't even respond the the seller so I can't return this useless $400 tuner that doesn't even work for my car... My whipple supercharger experience. I have a 2019 camaro ss, I purchased my supercharger from whipple it was delivered in about two weeks, there quality control is unbelievable on the check list of items in the boxes. Now my 19 isn't a 18, they told me before I purchased it that their would be problems with the tank fitting in the front bumper, that wasn't stopping me, I just kept cutting till it fit. When a person calls whipple superchargers Steve is the first person to speak with, then there's Mike and Dennis, they are the best people who treat people like people. When someone complains about these very kind men, that's a person who has nothing better to do, but BITCH!! I had problems with my car not the supercharger but problems, everytime I called they spoke with me treated me with respect, they are the best. Before I bought my car I was already shopping for a supercharger couldn't be more happy with the whipple supercharger (love that whine). Straight forward on the installation very easy. So I now say THANK YOU to all the staff at whipple superchargers. What's done to my ride, whipple, alky control, cat delete after we found the problem with the car I was making over 600 hp at the tires. Tuned by redline motor sports in pompano, thank you Howard and Rich. Installing my corsa 1.9 inch long tubes connection pipe, new larger injectors, mechanical fuel pump and a 3.1 pulley with a larger crankshaft pulley, should make well over 700hp at the tires, I have all my parts and will be installing this coming weekend. This is a review that was deserved 2,years ago. I got a whipple for my Chevy truck. I don't think it made it a day. I was blamed , but I know how to drive having a Lamborghini, viper , ford gt , and 66 shelby gt350s. As everyone found out whipple did not thread lock parts on the blower and it came apart. I used a recommended shop , put it cost me an extra 1000$ in labor to pull off and replace. Whipple paid 0. Tacky. Then got the next years I had nothing but problems. Popping engine codes , not running correctly. I just wanted a bit more power , not a useless vehicle. After some time they got it. Ran great , faster than it should be , then I took it to my cabin in shaver. It went into limp mode , and shut down. Problem after problem after problem. I sold truck. Honestly I would not put one on my new truck if was free. Too much hassle. Don't like non acceptable people/ business. They certainly were that with me. . read more

I have sent back a new 3.0L supercharger that was purchased from Lethal Performance for my Shelby GT350. The thing has never run right since professional installation about 2 years ago. Come to find out after an internal detonation in cyl #4 that bent a piston rod that the whipple was leaking antifreeze into the engine because the supercharger was defective during assembly. The tech at Whipple who put my unit together failed to install two screws that hold the internal intercooler assembly together allowing the unit to flex under power and leak antifreeze past the gaskets. The SC has less than 8k miles on it and is costing me over 12k in repairs. The speed shop contacted whipple so I will update this review when I hear the decision of they will make it right based off of their negligence at assembly. Based on other negative here we'll see how it goes with Mike, salesperson handling our defective SC. read more

Dennis in the tech department was less then helpful and actually pretty useless in trying to give any recommendation on fuel rail port size. 1/4 I.d is to small for any application. There fuel rail doesn't even give you the opportunity to increase to something larger then an 6AN Base on customer support after the sale I would say you might want to look at another product. The way the kit components where labeled and the detailed instructions made the kit extremely easy to install. The final product looks like an OEM level kit. I have had a Whipple Supercharger in my 2011 Camaro for over 1.5 years and the car has never run the same. I have had an engine light on and the car intermittently dies when backing it up. I had brought the car in over 9 months ago and within a week I had the same problem again. The engine check light has been on for nearly the entire time, and I have a smog check coming up and have been told that the light needs to be off before they can conduct the test. I am bringing the car in next month, and hope that we can fix this otherwise I wont be able to pass smog for my daily driver and will have bigger issues... Whipple has been very slow to respond and they aren't sure what is causing it. If you need your car as a daily driver I would research a lot more.... read more
