Clean facility, friendly staff. Fairly priced. You can bring in your own food if you are hungry.

Staff and atmosphere are always fun. Ninja package is definitely worth the small price. And the new cages look great.

The coaches are very young but sweet girls and I'm sure they are excellent VB players but they don't know how to coach and develop players. They are emotionless on the sidelines and tend to focus on just one or two players. I honestly think my daughter grew and learned more from her middle school teachers than she did at MI Elite. As an organization, I would have hoped MI Elite staff would have seen that our team struggled all season to win games - we barely won any and typically lost our matches In 2 games. Why didn't our coach get some help?. It was an expensive and disappointing season across the board :(

But that doesn't make you a coach. Stonefaced, what she lacks in personality she compensates in passive aggressive manipulation. The girls have no respect for her because she talks to them like they are Kindergarteners. She doesnt teach technique because she is too busy practicing dance moves on the court. Tournaments are poorly coordinated because there is little to no communication as to the schedule, timing, location etc. Parking and seating is non-existant Attemping to communicate with the club is impossible. Reeder (the Wixom coordinator) is too busy sleeping in the office. The facilities are dirty and smell like BO! To sum up our experience... sad. Will not be back and i do not recommend to anyone. For the exorbitant price, i expected much much more.

It doesn't dismiss our bad experiences here even though mostly out of the owners/ coach's control. my daughter enrolled into the gold xcel program last summer as a 10 year old. I gave her a text/ call only phone for emergencies to bring to class. A group of girls on the team( 2 and 3 grades OLDER than her!)asked for her number and harassed her over days via text. My daughter was nothing but kind. She was also harassed enrire classes by same girls in person. I screenshoted the texts to send to coach/owner so it was undeniable. Gym had a meeting with the girls families and I was apologized too. Coach said the harassment was jealousy of skills. My daughter broke both bones in her arm very badly during a practice while doing a flip off bar. I met ambulance there and was told by my daughter and another student my daughter landed the flip on her feet and arm hitting bar was cause of break. You sign a waiver and assume risks when doing gymnastics so I did not blame coaches/gym and was kind. I kindly emailed Olympia after incident asking any coach input how my daughter broke her arm so that if she returns to gymnastics she could learn from mistake and not repeat it. Almost 2 WEEKS later , a coach called me and said she saw my daughter fall and she broke arm on ground. I told coach it doesn't really matter but since my daughter's story did not match is there video they could review? Coach told me the " No. No video evidence. cameras don't reach to the back of the gym where the bars are" So I was lied to or they don't have cameras in the back of the gym which is a safety risk on many levels to me.

I believe there is a $50 security deposit, then around $30 per head. Probably more information on their site or by calling but long story short that got us two hours total. Let me tell you, I'm a larger unfit man, and sweeping was physically exhausting. My heart was pounding out of my chest 30 minutes in, and I ended up having to switch out with someone else for more sweeps. This is something I caution you to take seriously if you are not in shape / well conditioned. Curling is physically exerting! I had a hard time learning to get down and slide the stone. That's part of the fun. That said they do have a pusher stick you can use. Being 6' 7" myself and having a lower back problem I used the pusher stick when it was my turn to slide the stone. Don't be shy about using it! Instead of putting one foot on a slider pad (you have gripper covers over your tennis shoes so you can walk the ice), getting down low and pushing off the stick attaches to the stone's handle. Then you just walk up to speed and give it a little shove. Word of working, most wont have this issue but I wear a 14 or 15 mens 4E (extra wide) shoe depending on the make. My default tennis shoes were too big for the grippers to fit over, I had to switch to my backup pair which are thankfully 14's and I was able to just barely able to stretch them over.

All the usuals get there and spend the first 10 min of a shortened timeframe dragging the nets and setting it up. They don't provide balls like they do for tennis! Nope they just grab your money and treat all the pickle ballers like they are not as good as their tennis elitist. Don't get me wrong there are a couple people that work there that are super nice, but more often than not you run in to the ones That seem to either hate their job or hate us!! ‍ UWM doesn't have the outdoor floors or even great customer service at the sportsplex but at least provide balls. Have everything set up and pretend to Like you. Worth the drive in my opinion. Peachtree could use a customer service coach on staff. Don't even get me started on renting a court from them. Courts are very good shape and you have a lot of room to yourself as well. They also offer drop in group lessons or private lessons for a reasonable price if you so choose.
