Not your run-of-the-mill breakfast place! The menu is full of creative dishes with fresh ingredients. It's hard to choose. It's nice that they have lots of coffee and cocktail choices. It's awesome to have a mimosa or bloody Mary with breakfast if you feel like it. I definitely want to go for lunch soon. read more

I went for breakfast this past Sunday morning. I found the menu to be innovative and varied. I had balsamic glaze strawberry French toast and it was delicious. This business is just starting and they appear to be significantly understaffed. Wait time was long and our order was not accurate. I suggest giving them time to get better equipped. What a cute spot! The staff and atmosphere of this Elizabethtown gem is so inviting. There are SO MANY choices on the menu - some unique plates and some classic go-to's so that everyone is satisfied. There are also so many delicious artisan coffees to choose from. I enjoyed an RBK with American cheese and a pecan pie coffee, and my mom enjoyed one of the Benedict's with a smore's hot chocolate. We did notice that our food and drinks were warm rather than hot, but that is the only note for growth we have! This place really is a must see!! read more

Stopped by on a Thursday morning to enjoy the outside weather. Just my wife and I. The outside seating was full except for a table that had 4 chairs. The (rather rude) girl sai Oh if want outside you will have to wait". I'm saving that larger table in case a group of 4 people come in. I pointed out there are inside tables available that large. After living in Elizabethtown for 22 years, I proclaim we finally have a 5-star restaurant for breakfast and lunch!! No more driving to Lancaster for a place that serves breakfast after 11 am. Wisk has a beautiful open interior, a well planned menu play scrumptious baked goods and delicious food. Wisk is located within short walking distance of the Elizabethtown Amtrak Station and can easily be reached using the waking/bicycle trail from downtown Elizabethtown by continuing on and going through the tunnel at the train station. read more

Let me start my saying I wanted to like this place so bad! It is in a super convenient location, it's interior decorating is very cute inside and the menu seemed right up my alley. My boyfriend and I went opening weekend and our food took about an hour to come out- understandable, they are new so still figuring things out. We both ordered specialty lattes and both were unbearably sweet. I couldn't even drink half of it. I ordered baked oatmeal and it had good flavor. My boyfriend got an omelet and said it was good as well. The next day we were walking our dogs and I figured I would give them a try again for my morning fix. I ordered a large vanilla latte to go, thinking it'd be less sweet than the specialty latte. It was tolerable, but literally more than half a cup of foam. I ordered a latte, not a cappuccino... very disappointing. We decided the next weekend to give it one more try since again- it's a great location and we really want to love this place... worse than the first time. First off, we were seated and there was jelly from a previous diner on the paper placemat. I was thinking maybe it was a simple mistake until I saw the server wiping down a table next to us and reusing the same paper placemat (twice- so at least three dining groups!) That's fine if you want to reuse placemats, but get them laminated or something so you can sanitize them or clean them- GROSS! I ordered the baked oatmeal again since I did enjoy it the first time. It was not the same- It had dried cranberries the first time and didn't think time . Also, last time I could taste flavors like cinnamon and nutmeg type seasonings and this time it was like dry cardboard- why isn't this consistent from a week prior? My boyfriend got a lox bagel, which was fine but that can't really be messed up. We also shared classic french toast and it was a soggy, unseasoned mess- ate maybe 4-5 bites between both of us. Again, the food also took a little long to come out. Also, again trying to get this coffee thing to work- I ordered a vanilla latte, light foam thinking I could get past the entire cup of foam issue- it came out with literally no foam at all, again, miss on the latte. I wish I could write more positive things about this place... we did try three times, which is more than I normally would for a place! Maybe we will try it again in a few months once they have time to figure things out! read more

I had pretty high hopes for this place, being that it is so close to the beloved Folklore coffee shop in town. It is in a convenient location right across from the train station, and right before the cute community of Masonic. I know that I am a Starbucks barista so I critique coffee rather harshly, but I was extremely disappointed in my latte. I ordered a small almond milk latte to go, which took over 20 minutes, and was over FIVE DOLLARS (I get that non dairy milk is usually more but this was a plain latte...). I went within the first two weeks of opening, which could explain the delay. I felt bad for the barista who was working there...the orders were piling up and she was left with one espresso machine. Unfortunately, along with the wait came the poor quality. I ordered a latte, but received a cappuccino with nearly 3/4 of the cup was foam. In addition, there were grinds all over the cup and the top of the cup which was unacceptable. The drink was cold within seconds of sipping. I wanted to love this place because of the homey atmosphere, but I cannot say I love it. read more
