Bacon and cheese quiche with a side of seasoned vibe ripe tomatoes (delicious freshness!)
    Gaby T.

An amazing hidden brunch gem in the heart of Mt. Gretna. Right when you walk in, you get a cute and charming feel that brings on a cozy sense of home. The staff are cheery, and super kind that makes you feel oh so welcomed. We sit and are immediately greeted by a warm server who asks if we wanted coffee...we say "of course" and she sit a pot on the table for us to fill as we need...I believe this was their bottomless coffee option. Then, to order we split things....we split the fig and pig benny and the bacon and cheddar quiche. Both were DELISH! The fig and pig was a perfect balance of sweetness from the fig jam with the buttery notes of the hollandaise and savory of the ham, brought together with a perfectly poached egg. The only criticism I would say to this dish, is that they slightly broke their emulsion with the hollandaise, but it still tasted very good! As for the quiche, it had a perfectly flaky crust and the filling was the right balance of bacon to cheese ratio that made you keep going back for another bite. I also loved the side of seasoned tomatoes; it was a perfect fresh contrast to the decadent dish it was paired with. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

We went on a road trip today and decided to stop here for breakfast. We were not disappointed! There are plenty of seats inside and on the porch. It was comfortable and cozy. We were promptly seated and our server greeted us right away. The menu had a combo of the usual breakfast items and some more creative items as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the sausage and squash quiche. It was nice to be able to get it with greens rather than potatoes. I'd 100% recommend Porch and Pantry if you're in the Mt Gretna area. You will love it.

Set in charming Mt. Gretna tucked between beautiful trees, Porch & Pantry is a nice small place for breakfast. The dining area is partitioned into two sections with room for maybe 4-5 tables on the one side and another 6-8 on the other. Be prepared for a wait ranging from 15 to 45 minutes before getting seated and another 15 minutes or more before the food is served after ordering. We had blueberry pancakes and an omelette. Food tasted good, was hot, and decent portions. One minor downside was they only include one small container of maple syrup with the pancakes. They charge $1 per small container for each extra bit of syrup. Seemed like nickel and diming, which cast a shadow over an otherwise nice breakfast.

I've been here a couple times now and really enjoyed every thing I've had. The shrimp and grits were so flavorful, we talk about them all the time. I tried the bac-ado this time and absolutely loved it. The service is always great and it's an overall good vibe. It's nice to take a walk around Mt. Gretna afterwards too!

This place changed name/owner since i was last here and offers a completely new menu with a much more modern take on breakfast and brunch that is very reasonably priced. Lots of healthy and vegetarian options in addition to standard meat and potato dishes. The only thing missing is mimosas. Service was ok but not great. Potatoes were over seasoned and a bit undercooked. Toast wasn't warm enough to melt the butter, but overall, we enjoyed our experience. Interior is fairly plain and simple. Patio seating is available. Definitely worth a try if you're in Mt. Gretna.

A small town breakfast stop that has such charm for the whole family. We stopped here to eat while staying in Mt Gretna. We dined at a few restaurants here and feel that this one had the best service and food. We love small town breakfast and lunch shops and it met the hype. The shop is small, but was able to accommodate larger groups. When you first walk in you are greeted by the host and seated. You help yourself to drinks in the front and then put your order in. The food was fantastic and we would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you for such lovely service!

I only stopped for coffee but was eyeing the entrees coming out to the tables. The food looked pretty amazing. Excellent presentation and there were several certifications posted on the wall regarding food safety and other. The menu had some really unique offerings. I will definitely give this spot a try when I don't have a 12 mile return bike ride. They have indoor seating and a nice covered porch. Really quaint spot. Close access to the walking trails.

    Grilled sticky, eggs, and cantaloupe

Stopped in today for a nice breakfast with my sister. No wait, but all the outdoor tables were full, so we ate inside. Drinks are self-served, which isn't my favorite during a pandemic but... *shrug*. I ordered an apple cinnamon & raisin baked oatmeal with skim milk, and my sister got a grilled sticky with eggs and cantaloupe. Both were very tasty. She was super happy with her eggs, which were nice and fluffy! Her sticky was also good--but beware. The sticky is really sticky, so probably not great for folks with denture issues. My baked oatmeal was tasty and the portion was big. Both meals (pre tip) we're about $15, which I think is a very good price for the amount and quality of food we received. The local art on the wall was lively too.

Such a cute brunch spot in (basically) the middle of nowhere. It was a bit of a drive from our area in Hershey, PA, but easy to find with GPS. Everyone was super friendly and the food is cooked well and VERY filling for what you pay for. All in all great brunch with great flavors. 2 comments on improvements : - the coffee is lacking, the self serve coffee tastes like low quality hotel/motel coffee, no espresso options, and they only have half and half creamer as dairy options. For a place that prides itself on vegetarian and vegan foods- why no non-dairy alternatives? - the lighting and decor leaves much to be desired. On a nice sunny day in PA, the inside shouldn't feel like it's evening already! Open up the windows and add more lights if not possible, because this really wouldn't be the place for a date or to show off central PA because it feels so drab. Would definitely come back - only for food

Porch and Pantry has a lovely ambiance, tasty food, and sweet servers. They offer a robust menu with local ingredients. I normally do not get pancakes while out and was so glad I did-- they were a fun splurge and a generous serving. My sister got a bowl breakfast (eggs, potatoes, sausage) which seemed to be on the small side, especially when compared to the price and serving of my meal. We split a grilled sticky and were pleasantly surprised by the homemade sweet cream. Our service, while friendly, was slow and at one point we thought the kitchen might have forgotten us. Definitely would still go back and meet up with other friends there-- it's a gem in Mt. Gretna!

The new renovations have taken away from the quirky charm. Waited an hour for our food. Wait staff is great.
