Right on Chocolate Avenue inside the Hershey Experience pavilion, this cafe is clean, attractive, and offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options that don't feel like afterthoughts to the gourmet beverages. I met an old friend to catch up on our most recent adventures. It was a Sunday morning. Tables turned over several times in the three hours we chatted. The place was always busy. The staff kept the stations clear and clean between guests, and there seemed to be great coordination in the counter and coffee staff. We were left to ourselves, as this is a place where you order and pick up in two locations. There is no table service except to deliver food. While the inside has limited seating, the patio offers extra sunshine spots when the weather cooperates. My friend enjoyed her coffee. I found the food adequate for the price. This is Hershey's prime real estate strip, so paying more for basic fare is expected, but not impressive. This was made up for by the hustle in the staff's attention to cleanliness and processing orders. Lisa's feels like a caffeine refueling station more than anything else. It sits in the middle of several dining options, all within a quick walk. It is convenient for a quick recharge during your visit to the Hershey Experience but not a spot I would plan an event or even a hearty meal. This is easy to miss from the Main Street since it is inside the museum building, but so worth the visit. A cute, welcoming space that serves breakfast and lunch. You order at the counter and get a table number so they can bring your food out to you when it's ready. Drinks need picked up at the drink bar. The food was delicious and made quickly. I had the Italian sub with was loaded with meat in a 9" roll and it was delicious! The drink special, Frostbite Spritz was yummy too- not too artificial tasting which is good, but still fruity as described. Plenty of parking behind the building. read more

Easy to find, easy parking, quick service, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good music and not too loud. My wife and I were able to enjoy some time together talking without having to shout. She enjoyed the sandwich which was large and I really liked the baked oatmeal. Will definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend and I were here two years ago when it was "Cafe Amusee." We continued to talk about this place and saw that Cafe Amusee closed when we were in town and it was now called Lisa's Cafe. We were happy to find out it's the same place, same menu..just a different name. It was just as delicious as it was two years ago! For my breakfast I had a sugar free vanilla latte and the most delicious avocado toast with eggs. The avocado toast consisted of a very generous amount of avocado, tomato, goat cheese and balsamic reduction. Flavors were amazing! I also had a side of eggs which were cooked to perfection. My boyfriend ordered the ham and swiss omelette. He said it was very good and the swiss cheese was sharp and delicious. Perfect place for a breakfast, or in our case lunch! Service is friendly and quick. Reasonably priced and a menu with a nice variety. We ordered the flatbread on special, crab scampi as well as French onion soup. The flatbread was delish. Loaded with garlic and lots of flavor. Nice pieces of crab. The soup was overly salty which is why I did knock off a star. Perfect spot to stop in Hershey for a quick bite. read more

The BEST coffee ever anywhere!!! I had ordered the lavender latte hot and Janice ordered hers iced. I absolutely LOVE their coffee!! It was not bitter but had an amazing flavor/taste that tops ANY and EVERY place!!! I wish I could bring it down to Virginia!!! Janice apparently loved it iced as well!! It had such a robust and wonderful flavor!! We both agreed that for the first time ever, we were pleasantly surprised, impressed, and pleased with our coffee!! We love Lisa's and honestly would love to keep it a secret for locals! LOL! Everytime we come in, there's ample seating and no wait unlike other breakfast restaurants on Chocolate Ave! We love everything here, especially the rotating specials. I only wish they posted their specials every day on Facebook so I can check them out before coming in (they post often but not daily). Oddly enough, my absolute favorite thing about this place is the toast! The rye bread is just crazy good! Great prices, quick service, and delicious food. Monday July 4, 2022 8:50 a.m. We are locals and decided to take the scooter for a nice morning drive and get some breakfast. We ended up here for the first time. Not crowded at all and very well staffed. Prices seemed a little high but oh well (see later in review) I ordered the sausage quiche and fruit. The wife ordered baked oatmeal. We chose to eat out in the patio as it was beautiful outside. When they brought our food (and quite quickly I might add)...wow! The servings are very equal to the price and the taste was phenomenal! Order at counter then go sit. Not a ton of tables so if it's crowded you might have to go elsewhere. Probably not good for working. Friendly service. I love La Colombe coffee, so the chocolate hazelnut black and tan was up my alley. Chocolate was great but unfortunately the hazelnut was pretty standard syrup/artificial so I wouldn't get it again. Croissant sandwich was greasy and comforting and heavy, probably not the best meal before a long day but I didn't mind. Delicious but not sure it's worth the $10 Croissant + coffee + tip/tax came out to $17. I'm not dissatisfied but I'm not impressed, if you're in the area and want diner style breakfast there are probably better places unless you have to stay in downtown Hershey. read more

Not the main event but was what brought us into the Museum on Milton Hershey. I had a thin mint latte that I ordered and while delicious it was only filled 1/4 of the way, what's the point in getting a large if you just get the same amount of expresso? They filled the rest with cool slate and whipped cream. I also the avocado toast which the ciabatta bread was average at best. I also ordered a ham egg and cheese croissant which was actually the ice saver of my review. Living in Paris years ago I became a croissant aficionado and this was near perfection. Easy stop inside The Hershey Story Museum. You don't need to pay for the museum to come in. Order at the counter. They will hand you your drinks with a table marker and bring out the food to you. Also had the smoked ham and Swiss. Ham is delicious. Staff is polite and efficient. Open are. Relatively quiet compared to parts of the museum. Nice, quick stop. Food was good. I had to try the avocado toast because there were so many positive reviews about it, and I was not disappointed. It was excellent I also ordered the ham/swiss/spinach bowl w/scrambled eggs (served on fried potatoes). It was all so yummy! Definitely worth stopping by. My experience on visiting and eating breakfast in the past for the most part has been good. The visit before this time the coffee was a little weak and the main reason we come to Lisa's Cafe is for the coffee we love the brand. My husband and I visited Saturday and the coffee was terrible. We usually a get refill of coffee didn't finish the first cup watery taste. Our breakfast sandwich bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant had problems too. The croissant overly toasted so the sandwich was falling apart and one slice of bacon broken in two to appear as two pieces smh. The sandwich is $9.00! read more

The setting was nice and it's fairly quiet to have a lunch get-together with a friend and it's reasonably priced. It is also a coffee junkie's dream! I am wondering why they don't mix the Hershey's theme into the offerings more but that might be the other location's deals. read more

I was in the Cafe this past week. I haven't been in prior to Covid. Maybe that was the reason I was so disappointed. I was never asked to if I was dinning in or out. I asked for a coffee and received it in a paper cup. I was planning to sit, so I was put aback I also got a specialty drink and hot chocolate, the gourmet cookies that I remember were so scrumptious, but they were in a bowl on the counter. So I asked for some that were maybe fresher? I don't know but that seemed to break the hostesses routine? I don't know but it was as if I was interrupting their flow of get it ordered and don't bother us anymore. The self service station was less than appealing, a few creamers not the crafts of cream or 1/2 or milk like I remember. I was thinking as I was sitting there waiting for the rain to stop, I should have went to Sheetz. You lost a customer and also I review as ppl who ask me about the place to sit and get a specialty gourmet coffee and sweets, I will definitely not mention Lisa Cafe.
